A good and useful coat. Did not arrive when expected ( 15 day wait ) so had to email to ask why.
Prompt explanation ( waiting for more to arrive in stock ) but it would have been useful to have had an update of the situation without having to prompt.
Coat arrived 3 days later so all was redeemed
I ordered a sweater which was too small ( I was very disappointed as it was a lovely design and excellent quality ). I sent it back and ordered a larger size.
One of the sales team rang me direct to say that unfortunately their computers were down and they would have to take the order over the phone, which they did, promising to ring back if there was any problem when the system was back up and running.
Next day, another of the team rang me ( true to their word ) to say that unfortunately the product was out of stock.
Naturally I was disappointed but could not fault the way that the team handled my order.
To my amazement, I received an email re. 25% off sale - I had a quick look and there was my sweater, which I've now received and for less money!!
Love this company, bought an eye-catching tee-shirt last year which I've worn loads!
I have had a very poor experience as a customer. No confirmatory emails on first order, no info on when it was despatched, contradictory info on contacting customer services.It’s been sent, it’s lost,. It arrived the next day. I returned the items which didn’t fit. Refund had not arrived after nearly 3 weeks but was told it had been sent and it must be my bank at fault. Checked with bank which of course said it would be on my statement if received. Emailed customer services who first said it had been off set against 2nd order, pointed out that a second payment had been taken, then told it had been sent and to check with bank. Said I had done so hence email. By that time 2nd order had been delivered by Yodel with no warning while I was out and.left under garden waste bags on front step according to card through door. Parcel was not there so had to spend time ringing Yodel who said they would investigate. I pointed this out to customer services. Response was that refund had actually not been sent because of system failure and how did I know that 2nd parcel was lost.
After very stroppy email I have now been refunded both amounts, but will not order again.
Suggest that company develops a system that sends confirmatory emails that order has been received immediately, and also sends emails when good are despatched.
Suggest they also make clear to courier what is regarded as a ’safe place’ to leave parcels.
Suggest they also improve customer services so that they give accurate information, check with other parts of their organisation eg finance before accusing customers and their banks of being at fault.

I was very disappointed with my latest order of two dresses. I was informed there was a delay in processing. So I had to wait longer than normal for delivery. On arrival one dress had sold out. The other dress was a disappointing fit. The sleeves were very long, coming right over my hands and beyond!
I ordered 2 coats (for choice) and a hat and scarf. It took about 2 weeks for the parcel to arrive, but was minus 1 of the coats. The coat that was missing was on the delivery note saying 'ultimo October' next to it. I hadn't a clue what that meant so had to call to find out. When the coat finally came it was 1 month dince my order was placed! That aside the quality and fit of the products is very good and I would definitely buy again but would like to receive the goods a lot quicker. I was also a bit fed up that the day after the coat I kept finally arrived I got an email offering 25% off. Shame I couldn't have this for the coat I waited so long for
Clothes are different and wearable. Website leaves a lot to be desired : I can't find
things on it because it only shows some of the items in each category. Also there is no
way of using just a reference number to order with.
Website is good - very clear and excellent info about products. Info about items from previous orders that were out of stock is poor with no updates about fulfilment. I've had items that have never turned up and then a recent item (ordered in September) apparently now on its way but showing as out of stock on website. Also no ability to track delivery after orders have been placed - all you get is a message to say "8-10 days " which doesn't give much away. Quality of products is very good, however, so delivery issues are not a barrier to using this firm. I should also add that goods are well packaged when they arrive - and I haven't had them squeezed through the letterbox which has happened with another supplier when I was actually at home.
I am quite disappointed with thw delivery timea from this company compared to other online geoups! GAP is a good example, they deliver within 2 days, free of xharge over £50!

The clothes I have bought from Bonaparte have been lovely - a good fit and nice material. I once had to send something back because the seam had come unravelled and they were very good and replaced without fuss or bother. Otherwise the only clothes I sent back were because the colour didn't suit me.
My only complaint is how slow they are .. it takes a long time for anything to be processed, which is a bit putting off, so when you order it takes at least a couple of weeks to receive anything, and if you send anything back, just as long to get a refund. In comparison to other companies I order from they are noticeably slower.
