I purchased a baby carrier from boohoobaby.ie on jan 23 rd and should have had it at the latest last Thursday. I emailed them to seek my order status as their '24 hour' customer service no was disconnected. I have so far sent five emails, and am yet to get a response. I can only assume they are gone bust. I used the website in the past with no problems which is why I placed my order so quickly this time. The payment was taken out of my credit card straight away and at the moment it is frozen while my credit card company look into them. I am so annoyed because all I want is the product I purchased!
I too have had the unpleasant experience of buying from this disgraceful, appalling website. I wish I had read the reviews before. I have not received the goods purchased and there is no way of contacting anyone. The contact number on their website is invalid, surprise surprise. I feel absolutely disgusted by this. I will be reporting to the police. NOT HAPPY.
I placed an order for a pedal car on monday evening. I was expecting to get it in at least 5 days (according to informations on the website). Got automatic reply straight away saying that I will another email after product was dispatched. Haven't got anything for next 2 days so I sent them an email asking for some details and got an answer in the next 20 minutes that parcel was send and I should get it tomorrow. I did not really belived that especially reading reviews in the meanwhile, but very suprisingly I got it Thursday afternoon! I can't say anything but good about Boohoobaby after this one purchase.
After month of reassurance that the goods will be send, we received email that they were out of stock and would refund us but we never received the refund_ that was 3 month ago. Lost 700£ which was meant to be spend on our nursery, Contact refused and number of customer service invalid
I went to buy a corner kitchen for my wee girl for xmas order num 29925 when 2 weeks had passed and it was still not here so I contacted the company and they didn't even know we're it was so I asked for a refund off my money that was ok they told me it mite take up to 6 days to go into my account it is now the 8 day and I have email them a dozen times with not one single reply when I ring they number they gave me it won't let me throw I personally think there a disgrace off a company and should be band or shut down from operating.
I am so sorry I didn't see the reviews before I parted with nearly hundred euro for a Christmas present for my child which I now am certain will never arrive and I am just praying now that my bank will be able to get my money back from this fraudulent company! The number on their website is disconnected and their facebook account cancelled. I am not sure where to report them as it is a UK company and I live in Ireland (I ordered from their irish website boohoobaby.ie)
i bought a kitchen from these on the 8th november for £189 i waited a few days and still got nothing regarding delivery so i phoned them up said kitchen was stuck in belgium as the delivery man had the wrong shipping papers so they had to wait for him to get the right papers sent to the driver and it will be with me sometime near the end of month!!! i said straight away i wanted a refund it just didnt sound right so they sent me email saying refund will be with you in 5 working days 4 weeks later i have still not received any of my money back and now there number does not ring!!!! i have reported them to the police for fraud and waiting for response of them and my bank!!!! DONT NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!!!!!!!!
I phoned Boohoobaby to check the cot mattress I wanted was in stock- they said it was and would be despatched the next day- so I ordered it and paid. Two days later- guess what- they don't actually have it available and I was put on back order. I asked for a refund and they emailed it was all going through. Well, 15 working days later there is no sign of my refund at all and they aren't replying to emails. It's fraudulent to take my money when they can't supply and keep it for weeks. So beware- and go elsewhere!
My wife ordered a kids play table for our 2 year olds birthday, and having been told it would be a 7-14 days delivery, we thought no problem as it left a few days to spare. Order was accepted and payment made. On the 15th day, we contacted the company as the product hadn't arrive, and was told 'It is only a day late, give it time.' A day late is still LATE, and we should have been contacted and advised if there was a problem. However were told it was being dispatched that day. Our next phone call, we were hung-up on! Our next phone call we were advised that they were trying to contact the company in Germany who were sending it. We were assured that we would receive a call back with details of the delivery company and a tracking number. A week later still no product or phone call as we had been promised. Called today to cancel, and was told "we have been trying to chase it up!" Like previous reviewers, they don't respond to emails, or return phone calls. It would seem that this company have little or no product in stock, but take orders and then try to source from other suppliers, Even in this day and age it is surely poor that a company have a 7-14 day delivery period. MY advice is, if you're looking to buy DO NOT buy from Boohoobaby!
We've ordered a Cosatto mattress (best price we found) on Sunday night and the expected delivery date was 4 to 7 working days. Really surprised when got a text from the delivery company saying that the order was going to be delivered next day. We're going to buy from them again for sure.
I ordered a toy kitchen for my daughter's 6th Birthday just before the weekend, with reservations about whether it would turn up in time. I received an email the next day with tracking details and then the kitchen turned up yesterday in plenty of time! Thanks Boo hoo baby, my daughter will be delighted!
It is difficult to give a final review of this company as my order still hasn't arrived 2 months on. I have had to chase the company when my order didn't arrive to be told it was out of stock. An immediate email to inform me of this earlier would have been helpful. I then had to chase them again to follow up on my order, the response wasn't prompt and only when I chased again did they reply. Apparently my order is now in stock and will be delivered, though as mentioned before it has not arrived yet. I also asked about compensation in my email with no acknowlegement of this request which I found poor. I didn't rate them as a one star as I don't think there is malicious intent, rather it just seems to be poor customer service.
Ordered my ergo baby carrier on Tuesday (best price in the UK) and it arrived on Thursday, can't ask much more than that. The two people I spoke to in customer services were polite and efficient. Highly recommend, will buy from again without hesitation. Thanks boohoobaby :)
I ordered a waterproof fleece-lined all in one suit for my 6 week old baby when out in the recent cold weather. It arrived with no problems a couple of days after I placed the order. The product was great, the price was good and Boohoo were the only company which stocked such a suit for 0-3 month olds, everyone else only had them for the 6 months plus age group. No complaints at all from me.
I have never felt the need to review a company before but this company have driven me to distraction with their utterly incredibly poor customer service. It must almost take a skill to be so bad at dealing with customers. My story is too long but lets just say its now over 2 months since I ordered the high chair including tray and cushion. I still do not have the correct tray or cushion. At one point i was told the tray and cushion were correct ( even though they didn't fit) then I was guaranteed they were the wrong size and that correct size was on its way. I was later told ( after chasing things when there was no sign of new delivery) that the cushion and tray were were one size but the legs on the high chair were wrong. We were guaranteed delivery of new legs. This was now over a month ago and still waiting. There has never been any apology. I was told I would get a pathetically small compensation of £13 which I accepted but I had to chase this. When it finally came in they paid £10. I could go on but suffice to say I do not recommend ever using this company if you want to buy something for your child because your child will be an adult by the time it arrives, if it ever arrives that is.
I would not recommend this web site if you want reliable and stress free purchase!
I am very much disappointed on how boohoo customer service has handled my order.
I ordered and paid for the concord spin highchair in sahara sand colour in June and 2 wks on i still havent received the item or any email to confirm this highchair is on its way.
I contacted the 24 hr customer service who just said they will get someone to ring me from the warehouse.
No one called, i had to follow up the call that week ,only to be told that the item is no longer available.
I was told that they can provide another colour which is LIME.
July 13, one month after paying for the high chair, the item arrived but in a completely wrong colour which was not what we agreed on.
I complained to customer service and demand that this item be returned considering the amount of time i waited for this highchair to arrive (1 month) and to be told they cannot help me further is just unacceptable!
I felt cheated with this purchase and felt as if boohoo baby just want me to have whatever highchair there is left on their stock!
I will not order through this website again and its just a nightmare experience ordering through this website!

I must say I am really disappointed by the service received from boohoobaby a We ordered due to being a local company to us ( Stirling) and through your guarantee of 1-2 days delivery. After the payment made and an email sent to us to confirm, this was the last we heard, no emails to say order is processing, nothing to say that you were late on dispatch, Ive sent emails with no response, It took me to call and ask to be told that the item would go out for next day, although there had been no contact with the warehouse ( this was 6 days later) I said I would be happy to wait as long as it was out for 10th July, so I gave them an additional 4 days for you to get the buggy delivered, yet when i called to make sure on the 9th of July, ther ewas still No contact with the warehouse, I had not been phoned to have this explained, or emailed. their 1-2 days infact turned into a week and a half and still no buggy
I didnt have a buggy for my daughter as we had got rid of the old one a few days after buggy was supposed to arrive. Her birthday was on the 10th and sadly we could not take her out as planned because of their lack of communication.
I do not understand how they cannot get hold of a Warehouse and it takes over 9/10 days and still no communication with the warehouse or with us?!

We have asked for a refund by email, again there was no communication via email to confirm this, nor email to say this has been inititated, so we are still waiting!!!
This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I ordered a travel system in preparation for the arrival of my first child and the website claimed a “free delivery usually in 7-10 working days”. I received a receipt for payment and confirmation of my order on the same day so all seemed to be going very well. 2 days later I received another email to tell me that my order had been dispatched and that I would be hearing from the courier to arrange a delivery. I received no further contact and the product has never arrived. I have telephoned Boohoobaby on numerous occasions but have repeatedly been fobbed off by the staff. I have been told that they are waiting to hear from the courier, they are waiting to hear from their warehouse and that their customer service team are extremely busy (with complaints no doubt). On every occasion I have telephoned, I have been promised a call back; no one from Boohoobaby has ever telephoned me!
I have been forced to cancel my order and purchase the item from an alternative supplier, who provided the item within 3 days. The customer service is just as bad now I have cancelled my order and they are dragging their heels to confirm my cancellation and refund my money. Luckily I paid on a credit card and am now seeking the refund of my money through the bank.
Having now read the previous reviews, I anticipate a response from Boohoobaby asking me to contact them to try and resolve the problem. I would not waste any more of my time and money as the telephone number they provide is the same one I have been calling repeatedly with no joy.
Do not give this company any of your hard earned money unless you are prepared to never see the goods you order and then fight to get your money back. Believe any positive reviews at your peril…..
I ordered a float jacket for my 16 month old little girl, so we could take her in the pool on holiday. I ordered this at the end of April as we were going away on the 12th May, and their delivery information led me to believe it would only take a few working days.
A few days later I recieved an email confirming dispatch, but by the 7th May it still hadn't arrivied, so I called them to enquire if they could track it down. Acording to [name] it had been dispatched on the previous Friday, so should be with me by the 9th May at the very latest. Guess, what... it still didn't arrive, so another phone call later, I'm told by [name] he'll check with the warehouse... No return call, nothing! I call again, but get no reply... My holiday comes and goes (2 wks), and on my return I get an email to say it was out of stock all along, and could I pick a different colour!? However one of the colours they say is available is actually the one I ordered??
It's now the 11th June, and still no product! I have called several more times, to get the really unhelpful [name] fob me off... I've sent a couple of emails to their Customer Service team, and they can't even be bothered to reply!
Shameful! I hope you go bust, as you don't deserve to do any business!
