This is the first time I have used boots.com and will certainly be my last. I spend hundreds of £'s online and I must say, shopping with boots.com has been biggest disappointment. Having placed an order over a week ago for collection in store, and having 2 visits to the store, lasting an hour combined, it still hasn't arrived, despite receiving a text and an email stating the order was ready for collection. Complete and utter rubbish. I will not be using their online service again.
boots, no1 ,deliver when they say they will or refund your delivery charges, post out free if you spend £40 or more, offers on all over the store, friendly polite staff, well presented easy to browse and use site, excellent returns service no quibble. friendly nice human beings to deal with and advantage card is a brilliant reward system. ive spent thousands on their site so should know!
Boots is such a well known store and we all know what they sell. The online experience is great and has exclusive offers to online customers. You can also choose to have your order delivered to your local high street store for no charge, two days average turnaround for this service, and if you include your mobile number on the order, they will text you to let you know your order has arrived.
I ordered a load of stuff (mainly toiletries and a few cosmetics) online and arranged for the free delivery to my local branch. Everything arrived early, none of the products were damaged in transit and I had no no problem trying to collect it!
Will definitely use Boots.com again!
We bought our tumble dryer through their electrical department. They were pretty competitive on price, and they delivered within a few days. Despite the horrendous snow we just had, they phoned the night before with a slot, phoned in the morning to give a more accurate time so I wasn't waiting around. The driver arrived on time, despite struggling through 8 inches of snow. Really pleased!
I've got triplets so spend vast amounts of money with boots. Ordering is easy and goods are always send quickly and well packaged. I've never had a problem with them at all. It would be nice however if they could somehow credit your Advantage card points to your card automatically when you buy online because at the moment you still have to put your card into the machines instore to get points added, which is a pain because on the rare occassion i'm instore to use the points i forget to do this.
Like many others I have encountered difficulties when entering my delivery address details, which was very irritating. If Boots could restructure that area of their online shop it would make the entire experience more enjoyable.
Despite that, there is a wide range of products and a number of good deals to be found online. My goods were shipped and delivered quicker than I had imagined and at your Boots account you can track the package.
My order arrived in prestine condition and I was delighted with how much I was able to purchase for so little.
If you do not want to pay extra for delivery you can also choose a Boots store to collect your goods from which I thought to be a considerate second option.
