This was my first order with Box.co.uk. The process was very easy, email communication very quick and my order arrived within 2 working days, even though it was through Royal Mail. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to a friend etc.
ordered storm rapid keyboard which arrived next day however i had changed my mind and went for a better upgrade, returned unopened rapid keyboard by their rma process and ordered a better one same manufacturer. returned keyboard refund processed and am witing for funds to clear at my bank which appears to be taking some time but box said upto 10 days so will see. the better keyboard is great and glad i changed my mind ofcourse it was more expensive but that was my choice. my only gripe with box was i changed my mind about 2 hours after ordering even though they had closed for the day and was , despite emails to the effect, unable to cancel the original order so had to wait to recieve then return it unopened which i was a bit miffed about. they said it had already gone onto delivery truck but i considered as it hadnt already left they could have contacted the warehouse to retrieve it but thats the only gripe i have otherwise i would have given them 5 stars
I don't recommend buying from this company purely because they make you pay the postage to return faulty items. I bought some powerline adaptors from them for £19.99, when one of them stopped working i contacted them to return it under warranty but they said i had to cover postage costs which turned out to be £5. So i returned them and subsequently received a new set from them. Then again one stopped working, so i contacted them again explaining that this was my second faulty set and i wouldn't be willing to pay the return postage again, but they refused to cover the cost. So i decided to cut my losses and buy a set from a reputable company. BEWARE!
Ordered a set of Ace branded speakers pretty cheap. Delivery by DPD was accurate and all was well. Had the speakers for 10 minutes and the bass blew. Sent an email reporting to the issue and got a response 3 days later - poor. Arranged informally with a representative to have them picked up on a Monday which never materialised - poor. Emailed back asking what's going on; no response for two days now - poor, once more.
To summarise: great price on the product, but you have to bank on it working or it appears you're stuck with it! 2 stars, based solely on the customer service.
I ordered a cooler master CM690 ii case from these guys.they were the cheapest supplier I could find and delivery was very speedy. Great communication regarding delivery time and arrive in perfect condition. I'd use again with no hesitation and would recommend very highly.
Delighted with speed of delivery BUT was disappointed that the case that held my Microsoft office home & student was badly broken luckily the actual disc wasn't damaged. It was a present for my granddaughter so it didn't look good.
Ordered an Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro because box.co.uk had it for sale at a very competitive price and had very good feedback from previous buyers. I was not disappointed, the item turned up in a couple of days and was well packaged.
Excellent supplier and will use them again and highly recommend them.
I purchased an Acer H5360BD 3D Projector for £429.97 and paid £9.98 for next day delivery which came to a total of £439.95. I received it next day and set it up but had trouble turning it on. Once I managed to get it to power up it kept freezing all the time and I have had nothing but trouble with it.
I emailed Box.co.uk and 3 days and a telephone call of complaint later I finally received a reply by email telling me they opoligise my Acer LAPTOP is not working.
I replied asking if they actually read my email as it was not a Laptop I ordered but a projector.
I received a reply 2 days later telling me to contact Acer to arrange for it to be sent to them.
It is now over 5 days since I reported the faulty product and Box.co.uk should be dealing with this, not throwing it onto Acer's back.
I will NEVER be using Box.co.uk again as their customer service is absolutely useless and all they seem interested in is making a sale, taking your money then leaving you stranded if something is wrong.
Unfortunately there is not a 0 star rating on here as they don't even deserve 1 star.
Ordered a HP Proliant microserver on a Friday lunchtime. It was dispatched with amazing rapidity, I was kept fully informed by both text & email as to it's progress, and it arrived on the following Monday lunchtime. Online tracking from the courier company (DPD) was spot on as well. So far I am totally impressed........
Ordered a NAS enclosure - arrived within 2 days and was by far the cheapest I could find on the net.
I ordered a Gemini Joytab 9.7" tablet just after Xmas, got a great deal and the tablet was delivered promptly by DPD and I was kept well informed and was initially happy. However on the 15th January the item would not charge and was obviously faulty. I called Box and was told to request an RMA number through the website, I recieved this on 16th January and was given a date for DPD to collect on 22nd January, DPD did not turn up on the day due to bad weather. I recieved no contact from DPD or Box regarding them not arriving, I found this out through checking the DPD website. I expected them to arrive the following day, they didn't arrive that day or the following day either. I emailed Box and waited until 24th January for Box to email me back and they rearranged collection for the 25th January. The item was collected that day and I recieved an email from Box on the 28th January confirming reciept of the tablet. I heard nothing from Box with the 7 days they had quoted so emailed them on the 7th Feb regarding my Tablet and nobody bothered to respond to my email at all. I waited and emailed them again with a more forthright email on the 12th Feb and eventually I got a response back on the 14th Feb with an apology and a load of old flannel about it being their busiest time, like that is my problem and I would expect the Xmas period to be well over by February. They did replace my item and sent it out for delivery on the 15th Feb and so far it seems to be okay. It appears to me that this company is fine as long as you have no issues with your purchase but as soon as you have a problem they are slow and slapdash at best. They seem to have a bad record in terms of their returns procedures and I will not be shopping from them again in spite of the excellent Group On deal I got. I would offer a word of warning to anybody who is going to buy from them the potential problems you could have. You should also check out their Ebay reviews there are some bad ones on there compared to here. Be careful, customer service is poor.
Bought my graphics card from Box and the product was delivered promptly via DPD. The product works great. Was one of the cheapest deals I could find at the time. Their website looks professional and Box seem very reputable.
So no complaints; I will shop here again if and when the need arises.
Swift: Delivery was much quicker than I paid for, which was a nice surprise. Not to mention they used TNT. I had to pick my package up from the TNT depot - which is open until 10pm!
Safe: This was my first time shopping with Box.co.uk and I was actually happy that they double checked who I was. Slightly annoying but necessary step for both client and merchant.
Smiley: I received my goods it a more than timely manner and in perfect condition. I could not ask for more.

Ordered a Roku LT from here, as they still had it listed at £40 (everybody else had put the price back up to £50). Goods arrived promptly, so no complaints there.
Just one small observation. My Roku's box had been previously opened (seals were broken). This wasn't really a deal breaker, as the device was for myself. .....if i'd have been buying it as a present though, this would have been as issue!!
I was after another new Apple TV for my bedroom but didn't want to spend too much money, then I heard about Roku which was almost identical. After looking around for cheapest prices I stumbled across The Box which had a discount on their already low prices. I couldn't resist so I ordered one and it arrived almost straight away.

Item arrived as described well within the delivery estimate. I have had no reason to contact customer services so cannot comment on that aspect. Overall an excellent experience.

Ordered goods via groupon. No communication after 2 weeks so emailed to find out why. Apparently still waiting for items to be delivered (from China?) - black mark as shouldn't sell what you haven't got or don't make. Delivery promised for following week.
Chased again after 2 weeks - items now in, delivery promised shortly. Goods sent that day - tracker email said Royal Mail (up to 10 days!). In fact DPD and delivered to emailed time the next day. End result fine, goods fine, getting them a hassle - why didn't they keep me advised? Did they think I would cancel?
ordered a Samsung Internal DVD RW, and a Kingston Pen Drive, both were considerably cheaper than I expected and both arrived 2 days after I ordered, was more than happy at the speed of the delivery as we were in the middle of a snow blizzard. My only concern was that they arrived in a padded envelope, no box for the RW, was worried that it may have been damaged in transit, its not as if the Royal Mail are known for being gentle lol, anyway, both work great and I'm more than happy =)
It's sad to read old reviews and see they are saying how quick it was their orders. Unfortunately I still didn't receive mine, I've moved out and I'm not sure whether I'll receive it. Once the order got delayed I tried to change the address, or collect the item, but both were not available. I won't lose my money so easily.

Having placed my order late afternoon I did not expect it to be processed until the following day, how wrong I was, within the hour I received an e-mail indicating that the order had been dispatched.
Delivery was the following day, the router was simple to set-up, and works well.
I recommend highly, and will use again soon.
Bought 2 pairs of Hercules pass through Homeplugs in July 2012. 1 pair became faulty and Box exchanged them in August. They become faulty again this week and Box offered to exchange them for a different brand after I explained that they literally exploded and gave off smoke when they failed. I did not trust them in the house with a wife and 2 young children. They agreed to exchange all 4 (both pairs) for a set of Zyxel. Very good manner on the phone and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. My only minor criticism is that I had to try twice and wait a bit longer than ideal before the phone was answered. Overall I would use Box.co.uk again.
I bought a Seagate external hardrive via Groupon from Box, which turned out to be faulty. Returned the item in November and have had to pester them ever since for a refund of postage (got the refund from Groupon for the actual item, but had to chase that as well as Box had not sent them authorisation for a refund. I had to contact Groupn myself to organise it and they refunded me straight away). In the last week Box have finally given me the original p&p cost back after months of nagging, but refused to refund me the cost of returning the item. CAB says that as it's faulty, I am entitled to a refund of this too, so I fight on for the sake of £6.52!
Awful company to deal with, they take ages to reply to emails and when they do reply it's short and not-so-sweet. I'll never buy from them again and would not recommend them to anyone.
Ordered via their play.com account and waited over 2 weeks. No response to 3 emails sent to 3 different points of contact. Finally got a response from the 4th attempt only to be told that play.com had been overselling their stock? (I'm a play.com trader also and I know this is simply rubbish).
Eventually got the item (D-Link 1340 powered USB 3.0 hub) and it doesn't power or charge half of anything I plug into it. I would not recommend the product and I would not use box.co.uk again.
