Box2000 sucks, avoid this company! I purchased a pu7so tablet for my dad through wowcher. It cost £79 reduced from £160 or something like that - anyway, 2 months in and the tablet was showing signs of 'being poor' battery life was very poor, it was sluggish and generally pants (in my opinion, iphone user, my dads never had anything like this before so he was quite ok with it) - 5 months in and the device is properly not working, takes forever to get a full charge (about 8 hours) and only gives about 40 mins of use (playing games and browsing the net) - So it's about time we contact the supplier and ask ho we can resolve this - 3 emails and 12 days down the line (as their isn't a contact number) and I still don't have any response.
I don't like to complain but Box2000 haven't given me any reason to be happy with their product or service.
Just advice, don't buy anything from this company, I have read similar reviews and experiences so I'm not the only one they ignore in these circumstances.
i brought the 7inc android and me tablet off of wocher for 69.99 on the 28th nov which i must say arrived very quickly considering it was xmas. my 11yr old son was over the moon with it up until last Monday when when it started flashing and went off, i put it on charge as we though the battery had run out but OMG i couldn't believe it the tablet became so hot it started melting the back of it i only noticed it was melting because of the smell thank god i unplugged it or it would have burnt my house down . i went on to the box2000 website to call them but could only email which i did and i received a call the following day from what seemed a really nice man who asked if my son was ok and said that he would send me out a free upgrade for my son the following day and that he would be more than happy with it. and that the new tablet should arrived on Thursday but didn't so i called the number back that i had saved when they called me and after several attempts they final answered and said that it had not been sent and that it would be sent on the Friday and my son would defo get it Saturday well omg we stayed in all day Saturday and yep you guessed it no tablet. so i emailed again asking what was going on and was given a tracking number finally my son's new tablet arrived on Monday the pu7so which is meant to be an upgrade....my son turn it on seems to work until he tried to search on the net and he can't as when you click search the delete button lights up and deletes your sekeypad to type in the 1st place because only hlf the key pad works. i called box2000 to complain and yet again i got no answer since then i have sent 7 emails asking for a manager to call me and i have tried calling the number at least 30 times since Monday lucky i still have the 1st tablet as the man i spoke to told me not to send it back but to just bin it which i found strange i am now going to go to watch dog over this as this thing blow up on my son which could have caused him serous harm and all this company has done about it is send me another faulty tablet and ignored me i would also like to point out the tablet i brought was 69.99 instead of 299. and the so called upgrade that they have sent me is 139. how the hell is that an upgrade i am so bloody angry with box200
I ordered 3 android 7" tablets for christmas through wowcher from box 2000. The order 'eventually' arrived 4 weeks after they had taken my money! One of the tablets was faulty so i contacted box 2000 via e-mail...... they refuse to have a phone number to contact them, i suppose because of all the complaints they must get!.....They e-mailed me back, ( eventually) & told me to return the tablet & they would send me out a new one, after they had tested it, by return post. That was on Jan 2nd. Box 2000 now claim that they have not received the returned tablet, for which i have proof of postage, & are refusing to replace or refund me. I have contacted wowcher to inform them of the type of company they are dealing with. If you ever see an offer from these people, or are ever thinking of buying from them....DON'T!!
I placed an order with box 2000 via wowcher on 6th Dec. about a week later I received an e-mail from them saying due to high demand for this item ( 7" Android tablet), there was a delay in delivery but not to worry all orders would be sent out before xmas. After about another week of no delivery I was beginning to panic as xmas was only 3 delivery days away and my order status was still awaiting fullfilment. I emailed box 2000 for information and received back no explanation other than my order status had changed to refund. I emailed them yet again almost begging as to why this had happened and have yet to receive a reply.
So no, I don't recommend and will not use Box 2000 again
