Excellent Customer Service

My new years resolution is not to moan but to praise as much as possible in the the hope that I will have a happier life from the positive aurora I create.

It is obvious that most genuine feedback on review sites is from people exercising negative energy for one reason or another.

So ended my lecture!

I have purchased from BoysStuff.co.uk on a number of occasions and always found their service to be excellent. The website actually has a telephone number associated with it which gets promptly answered, goods are delivered when they say they will be, packaging is very good and product as described.

I fully recommend this company!

SUPER PRICES AND SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have bought product from BoysStuff.co.uk on a number of occasions over the years and cannot recommend them highly enough.
The acid test for any retail business is not how the smooth transactions are dealt with but more telling how problems are dealt with.
To this end my experience is that they are excellent!

I am well aware from my retail experience that 100% of complaints get recorded on websites like this but less than 1% of compliments for a good transaction.

We customer like a good moan!

My news years resolution is to try and spread some happiness - hence I would like to say what fantastic customer service I received from BoysStuff.co.uk when buying a gaming chair from them for Xmas.

The test of good customer service is how they deal with problems, its easy when things go smoothly.

Well I had a chair delivered that had holes drilled in the wrong place. I advised BoysStuff.co.uk of my problem and within three days the old one was collected and a new replacement delivered.

Shocking

Ordered a gift for christmas on the 13th for 3-5 days delivery, (which was paid for not free) after 5 days no delivery. I contacted customer service, left it a couple of days and no one bothered to get back to me, so went online to call them to discover they all went home early for christmas. Well I now have a very sad 3 year old son who was super excited about the gift he ordered for his grandad who now has nothing to give him for Christmas Day. Worst company I've had the misfortune to deal with for a very long time.

FANTASTIC SERVICE TOTALLY SUPRISED!

My Partner ordered a gaming bean bag for me for xmas upon delivery it was very clear that she had ordered the wrong one and it was not suitable.

Within 72 HOURS i had contacted them and explained our issue, during this time they communicated with me arranged collection of the item the following day and within a few hours of being collected they had contacted me to say thank you and my refund had been authorized.

If i had to knock one thing it would be let your staff be people and not so robotic, your service is exceptional just needs that personal touch to add the icing on the cake. Will be back to purchase from you in the near future for our 3 year old based on your service alone.

Awful, rude - avoid or lose money.

I recently purchased a jedi dressing gown from boystuff, which I intended to be a Christmas present for a family member. Transaction went smoothly, post was quick. The item is faulty.

I am perhaps the only owner of a brand new jedi dressing gown with white stitching for a section of the insignia.

I contacted boysstuff through their own customer contact form first and got ignored. I then contacted them through email and received a poorly toned reply which implied I was lying. I sent the photos requested, but they were only acknowledged the third time I sent them over the space of a week.

Their response? Apparently their suppliers say this isn't a fault, despite a quick google image search showing the same product with a total of zero having this problem with the insignia.

So I took up a dispute with PayPal (very helpful), won and can have a full refund through them - but they can't refund return postage, which tracked would cost me too much to lose.

Apart from this all email sent in reply to me insisted on calling me 'Customer' rather than my name. Avoid, or risk a big hassle and losing your hardearned cash.

SUPER SERVICE!

Recently bought a BraZen Cobra gaming chair from boysstuff. The product was cheaper than the likes of Argos and Game from boysstuff. The main reason for the review is that boysstuff were prepared to go the extra mile in customer service and accommodate a rather complicated delivery requirement which I know their systems weren't designed to cope with. A big thank you for super service!

BRILLIANT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Not normally one for writing reviews but on this occasion wanted to give BoysSTuff.co.uk credit for going the extra mile with after sales customer service.

Bought a gaming chair from them for last Xmas. Boys stuff we're cheapest and delivered promptly. Chair was great until a bracket broke about two weeks ago. Let's just say it was broken because of over exuberance by myself! Ie not a manufacturing fault covered by warranty.

Nevertheless boys stuff were prepared to help me. They arranged for the bracket to be removed from one of the chairs they'd had returned to stock.

Super customer service. Highly recommended!

Unacceptable! Don´t shop here!!!

Bought a Brazen Cobra gaming chair for my boyfriend. On the website it was stated that it had crystal clear sound. I quickly received the chair and it worked fine the first couple of times. But then the speakers began to sound like noise from a radio. The headset plug-in didn't work either. There was still sound coming from the speakers, when a headset was plugged in. I contacted the company and they told me to return the chair back to them, which I did. After two weeks and several reminders, I was told that their was nothing wrong with the chair and because of that I had to arrange and pay for the shipping myself, if I wanted the chair back. I wrote back to the company, that I had evidence that supported my complaint and that I would like to receive a copy of their test report (which is standard procedure). That was not possible. They couldn't document or otherwise proof that they had tested the chair or even opened the shipping box. But they agreed to test the chair again. After a week I received the same test result, but again no test report. The company on the other hand did agree to send me back the chair.
I wrote to the company that I could prove that there was something wrong with the speaker sound. Because I did not trust the company, I had recorded the sound on to video and I did the same with the headset error. I wrote that to them as well. The company asked for the recordings and I e-mailed it to them. I have not heard from the since... After several reminders, still no reply.
I then got in contact with Consumer Europe, who also repeatedly has tried contacting the company, but unsuccessfully.
That now leaves me with a gaming chair, a gift, that can be used and a company that wont help. So unacceptable. Don't ever shop here!!!

Excellent Service

I found a great site selling presents for men making shopping for them so much easier.

Its full of gadgety ideas at great prices. Bought something for my brother and you know how awkward he is to buy for!! Anyway, when he got it we had a little trouble setting it up - so called the number on their website and instantly got through to their customer service who were so helpful. No hanging about in a queue.

We explained what we perceived to be the problem and they went through everything with us and sorted the issue in no time at all. They were very patient and understanding, couldn't have been more helpful.

I will most definitely be recommending them to all my friends and family as Christmas fast approaches.

SIMPLY THE BEST!

I first came across the boysstuff.co.uk website brand after attending The Gadget Show at the NEC in Birmingham last April. They had a stand at the Show and a team of pretty girls handing out brochures.

I have subsequently made two purchases of laddish products which all went very smoothly.

My last purchase was an X-Rocker Vision Gaming Chair. The purchase and delivery all went well. I had done my online research and confirmed that boysstuff.co.uk offered the best price. So far so good.

When chair arrived it was faulty. I called boysstuff.co.uk customer service - 01676 535 557. The young lady who answered my call couldn't have been more helpful. I was immediately assured the problem would be sorted to my satisfaction and it was. My chair was replaced within 3 days. Great service. Well done boysstuff!

Recently purchased from boysstuff. Order arrived really quickly and emails kept me informed of the status of the order.

Tracking number was provided so I could see when it was due to arrive.

Unfortunately when it arrived it was too small for my nephew so we had to return it.

Process couldn’t have been simpler.

They arranged collection of the item within a couple of days and had refunded in full by the end of the week.

"BOYS STUFF ARE THE VERY WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE TO DEALT WITH"

I purchased the above last week for christmas. They had not arrived by today, so i rang them and spoke to a very obnoxious woman. She informed me they were delivered and signed for! I said when, she said yesterday and i informed her i am the sole resident here and nothing arrived. I said I would like a refund and she informs me to obtain this I have to return the goods. What can I say! I reiterate, they did not arrive. She said to ring Parcel Force, and I am still waiting to hear from Parcel Force!... Even after explaining i was too ill due to cancer she didn't want to know.
UPDATE 4 weeks and 28 calls later to Parcel Force they are refunding me. NOT a word back from BOYS STUFF, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

disgraceful customer service from a senior manager

after being sent the wrong items on 2 occaisions i was contacted by a man (?) named [name removed] whom i later discovered to be a senior partner of the company who acted as tho it was my fault that they were unable to send the advertised product as well as informing me that some people "just have an orgasm out of making a complaint", accused me (wrongly) of being a member of the competition and informed me that they didn't want me as a customer anyway and that i could go to watchdog or trading standards if i wanted. having looked into the sale of goods act 1979, and despite [name removed] quoting the company's returns policy, which does not supercede consumer law, i know that I am NOT required to pay for return postage on these goods and can require THEM to arrange collection at THEIR expense, which i will choose to do following the arrogant, rude and unprofessional behaviour of this senior member of the company. i will not comtemplate using their services again and would strongly advise others to similarly avoid this firm if this is their idea of customer service, the value they have of their customers and the example which the management are setting for their staff.
