Ordered from BA twice over the past two months, firstly was some Canterbury kit that came very quickly and no problems. Second order was a pair of Diesel jeans which didn't fit, I contacted customers services as due to the xmas holiday I had missed the normal returns window and was trying to return a product 3 weeks after delivery. Got a response from Louise within two hours saying I could still return the item and would receive full refund. Easy to return using Collect+ and would have no hesitation in using again.
I have shopped with Brandalley a couple of times, and I am so pleased with the goods and service. I did have to phone up once to chase my order, and do you know they went out of their way to track my order. The Customer service department said they would call me back within the hour, and they actually did. I have shopped on line many many times, and all companies have hiccups sometime. But it's how they deal with it that makes you want to shop with them again. WELL DONE BRANDALLEY
A bit late in the day, but I ordered a number of Christmas presents from BrandAlley and they came in good timing and were such bargains! A perfume set which would usually cost £60, was just £20, and I found the site saved me a lot of money over the Christmas period. Would definitely recommend it!
My friend bought me a gift from this site. Not only was the product used but it had sweat marks on it! Delivery was super late and customer services are the worst I have ever experienced.
This is one big scam and I would avoid at all costs! Only buy if you want to be robbed of your money. With all the other online destinations I don't know why someone would choose to shop here...
I was so excited when I saw that Brand Alley had Lene Bejere home products in their outlet (as they only have one store in the UK). So I placed my order on 12 Jan '13 and waited patiently. Money was taken from my Paypal account and products were to be dispatched in 14 days. It's now a month later and nothing received. So I called Brand Alley customer service and they said that no order was received by Payapl, so i'd have to resolve the matter with them direct. And as the items are no longer available they said I can't buy the items again. So I contacted Payapl who have confirmation that they placed the order directly with Brand Alley. They are now going to resolve the matter and make the claim to Brand Alley on my behalf. Clearly, Brand Alley processes are not clear or transparent and this leads to poor customer experience. I won't be shopping there again.
What really surprised me about BrandAlley was not only the huge range of designer fashion items available but the vast amount of homeware the site has to offer. After recently moving home, it was a great way to kit out my new flat for half the price!! I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a chic looking home for less.
I order several Canterbury items for my husband for Christmas and the price was so cheap I'm embarrassed to tell him how much they cost! They are brilliant quality and they look fantastic on him, I will definitely be buying more from here in future!

Ordered a really good quality set of knives before Christmas for my Mum at a massive saving. I had to wait a little longer than usual for them to be dispatched, but they still turned up on time and arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. As I understand it, they sometimes have to wait for things to be dispatched directly from their suppliers rather than their own warehouse, but when you're making such a big saving it doesn't really matter - surely. Not to me anyway. Will definitely shop there again!

The website clearly explains why there is often a delay on receiving items which just adds to the excitement of receiving your items!

I have bought several items from BrandAlley, some great leggings and dresses and I have just recently bought some ski trousers which were half price off! I have never had a problem with delivery in the past. When you go to the delivery tab it explains exactly how it works!
Having had a catalogue of disasters from this company I thought it only fair to actually post about a positive experience.
I placed the order, received notification the following day that it was on its way and it arrived a couple of days later. Couldn't fault them on this one. Just how is should be - great item for a great price and great service. :-)
I bought a Vivienne Westwood scarf for a xmas gift it was 20% off only and cost £55.
I received the scarf and wrapped it up as it was sealed and I thought it was brand new considering I had bought it as brand new anyway.
My sister unwrapped her scarf undid all the sealed packaging lifted up the scarf and there was a tear in it....that wasn't the worst bit...it had a sticker attached with a red arrow on it pointing to the tear.
Basically brand alley is ripping off its customers selling them damaged seconds and other peoples damaged returns and not letting on they are doing it.
they lead you to believe that you are buying an A class garment and that you are getting money off because its on sale.
In reality you are just buying other peoples cast off returns.
Brand Alley embarrased me in front of my family due to the sticker and the tear and then 2 days later I had to take the gift back off my sister to send it back and I could get no alternative.

I ordered twice on Brandalley and I am very pleased with their service. They propose daily deals where you can get amazing brands for a very low price.
I bought nice Ugg boots on their outlet section, really cheaper than on the high street and I received them only 2 days after I ordered in perfect condition.
On my second order, I bought a jacket in a private sale. They told me that I had to wait at least 3 weeks as they ordered the stock to their supplier once the sale finishes. I didn't really mind considering that the jacket was 50% off. and actually I was very suprised to receive my order a week before the expected date.
I definitively recommend this website for the bargain hunters and generally for people who like Fashion.
I ordered a duvet from them and after 15 days, they finally decided to deliver it. Then the delivery people just did not turn up but kept updating the systems to say they were. brand alley charge a lot for delivery as well. When I complained, brandalley refused to even refund me my delivery charge and as I type this, my duvet is still not here.
Speaking to customer service is like speaking to brick walls. Too stupid to think for themselves or put themselves in the customer's shoes.....
I repeat, do not buy from if you want your purchases to turn up at all.....
I have heard about Brandalley only recently and thought it was too good to be true when I went on their website. Amazing brands and products at great discount!
Their concept is via daily sales with top tier brands and on some items you can wait for a few weeks for delivery, but items in their outlet catalogue and when their clearance is on can be shipped within one working day.
I just wished I heard about BrandAlley before and I am now spreading the good words to all my friends and even doing some shopping for those abroad.
Have been shopping with BrandAlley since 2009, mainly for jewellery and bags, have had one order cancelled, but they informed me and refunded the full amount straight away.
Whilst I understand why people have said it can be a long time to wait for the goods, they do explain why it takes that bit longer, and it makes it just that bit more fun waiting for your amazingly discounted goods to arrive.
My only gripe with them, is how they've recently started using Hermes as their courier, previously they used Yodel, and with their tracking, I'd know that the day it was with Yodel, it would arrive on that day. Two weeks ago I had two orders dispatched within a couple of days of each other, the Hermes courier took three days after receiving the package to deliver to my home, according to the tracking information provided by the courier, they were unable to find my address, I've since learnt they only have one code when they are basically too busy to deliver, my first package finally arrived. The second package had the same delayed problem, and when it finally did arrive, part of the order was damaged, BrandAlley customer service was fast and refunded me within two days of showing pictures of the damage. I cannot fault the customer service received from BrandAlley.
So, if you want great goods, at great prices, and don't mind waiting, and getting slightly random tracking info, shop with BrandAlley.
Brandalley regularly have great brands for sale on their site which are incredibly cheap compared to what you will pay in the shops! The delivery times can take a few weeks but it is well worth the wait for the savings! The products in their 'Outlet' section are even available straight away.
I'm addicted to brandalley. The site has great sales and the designer goods are really well priced. I've had one order (out of many) that couldn't be fulfilled because of a supplier issue but other than that no complaints.
you need to get up early to get the best bargains but it's definitely worth it!
I have recently had two instances of bad customer service from Brand Alley.
The first was that I ordered an expensive wallet and it arrived with the packaging and box damaged, with a horrible photocopied price tag. This was a gift for Father's Day and I really was not happy about giving it to my dad. I did of course remove the photocopied price tag. I really did question the authenticity of Brand Alley's merchandise when I seen the state this wallet was sent to me. No delivery refund was offered which I thought was shocking as the packaging arrived burst and the box containing the wallet badly damaged.
Secondly I ordered 2 pairs of Vivienne Westwood shoes, after a long period of waiting (and them having my money) they finally emailed to advise that one of the pairs would not be delivered, I emailed to cancel the whole order and luckily this was done quickly however this could have been due to the fuss I made about the horrible wallet.
I wouldnt use Brandalley again, good luck to anyone who does.
I've been using them since 2009 and still am. I really don't get the bad reviews here...I don't work for the company, I'm not one of those - to prove it - their delivery times aren't great but that's what you get for such massive discount! I have had problems with deliveries before, but customer service have always gotten back to me within reasonable time, and sorted out refunds for lost items and such. It's true that sometimes they have to cancel orders - but that's because the suppliers (i.e. the big brand name company) have messed up and not delivered (i.e. not really Brandalley's fault!).
So there are hitches, occasionally (like with any company and you know it), but for me, personally, they've always sorted out the issues for me. If something doesn't work out, rant about it on their FB pages if you must!
Right enough defending BrandAlley, if you really want to know more, check out their FB page, they're really active on it too.
For me BrandAlley has a variation of sales (I swear there's always something for everyone: Women, men, kids, and even pets for crying out loud!). And really good discounts, and even more new brands - btw it's also a way of discovering new brands that have wicked stuff but you'd never heard about.
As regards the NEGative reviews here - it's probably the flipping competitors! Just like ppl post fake 'pro' reviews, ppl also post fake 'bad' reviews...and there are far too many on here for it to be legit!
Like I said I've been with them since 2009, and although no 'relationship' is perfect, this is one of the longest ones I've stuck with! (shopping websites that is) :)
P.S. I even signed up to this website (March 2012) just write in this review, because it's unfair all the bad press BrandAlley are getting on here - it's not justified!

To be honest, I am surprised to read all these bad reviews. I ordered a pair of shoes and a pair of earrings from Brand Alley just one week ago and they've already arrived. Maybe I'm one of the lucky customers...??? My only complaint is that the shoe box was a bit damaged but the shoes themselves were in perfect condition.
People who are reviewing Brandalley on here obviously have no clue (i.e. they haven't been bothered to read the site before ordering) how Brandalley actually works.
They display the items on offer for 5 days or so. You order, you pay. They then place the total order with the relevant manufacturers. I would assume these are fairly large orders hence the deeply discounted prices.
The manufacturers then proceed to either manufacture the required items to fulfil the order or acquire the items from their warehouse(s) which could be anywhere in the world. These are then shipped to Brandalley ready to distribute to the customers i.e. you or me.
THIS IS WHY the delivery times are 4-6 weeks but THIS IS WHY you get a bargain. You are told the delivery times clearly on every item, I have no idea how people are missing it!!! If you can't wait that long, buy elsewhere.
I have bought at least 15 items from these. I have never had an order cancelled & a lot of orders were received well in advance of the estimated delivery period.

Ordered boots for my wife in early December, with delivery promised between 5 Jan and 18 Jan. Date came and went and no sign of the boots. No message or contact from BrandAlley whatsoever. Contacted them via email and within 48 hours had received an email response saying that they had a problem with a supplier and the order had to be cancelled!
I called them and complained about the lack of communication. The customer service was just appalling. They said that they would have sent an email out, but I had beaten them to it by contacting them and the email I had received was from their distribution warehouse, and not customer services. However, I had actually contacted customer services via their website... i.e. their customer service rep was lying! They must have known about this before I contacted them... I can only presume they did not want to process any refunds until they had been contacted. Of course they took my money when the order was placed (6+ weeks), but still took a week to get my refund after I called them!
I have cancelled my account with them - simply not worth bothering with a company that when it does deliver goods takes almost a month to do so. I get the impression that they advertise the goods, and get the money before actually have any agreement with their suppliers.
I too have experinced this from a company that used to be great. goods used to come on time and customer services cared.
that has al goen out the window, with three of my last four orders beign unfulfilled or half of a set sent - useless.
tell them on their facebook page - not just here. write it on their wall, and then they will start to take action and get back to when they were good.
Take your money the day you order and give you an expected delivery date. When this passes you phone. Phone lines not working, You email and get standard reply 'we'll get back to you in 48 hours' then 'we'll get back to you in 72 hours'. When they do reply they tell you it is being sorted at their warehouse. They don't update you and then cancel part or all of your order after you have been waiting weeks for it (while your account still says it's being prepared and you will receive a tracking email). If you order matching items (i.e a suit you could easily end up with only half of it - not much use!).
Terrible service! Is it some kind of scam to hold onto your money for 6 weeks and increase their cashflow????? If I could give them minus stars I would. I will not be using ever again.
Two orders placed at the beginning of December and neither order has been despatched even though we are now past the delivery dates.
I am waiting on a response from them in the next 48 hours. All phone lines down!!

I am fully expecting to hear this company has gone to the wall and that I will see neither my money or my goods.
I used to buy quite a lot here but got burnt when they ruined one christmas for me - I bought in October thinking 2 months would be plenty of time, but despite constant chases and empty promises of things being dispatched, they never delivered and waited till 23rd Dec to confirm the fact. I should have known never to go back, but just have and they have completely ruined my order - delivering completely different things to what I ordered.
Will def NOT be buying from them again!
I ordered 3 items in a jewellery sale in November and after placing the order the website have estimated dispatch date of 'between 2nd December and 26th December'. Since placing the order up to 22nd of December there had been no update on my online account with regards to my order progress, nor did I receive any follow up email. On the 23rd December I contacted customer services to ask about delivery dates over Christmas, it was obvious the items wouldn't be dispatched within given time scales. The following day I received an email saying the supplier had let them down and a part of my order will be cancelled. They didn't specify what items will be cancelled and nothing about refunds or delivery of remaining items. So I had to chase them again only to receive an email 3 days later to say my order had been cancelled, the supplier had let them down so they had refunded the money.
I don't think I'll ever bother using them again. High risk of wasting time and not receiving anything.
