I’ve used Britannia parking on two occasions, I have had a brilliant experience with them. I would definitely use their services in future and also recommend it to all as a safe and reasonable priced parking area.
I have experienced Britannia airport car parking for the second time and found it very impressive with services like meet and greet and valet parking facilities. I have in fact received a humble attitude from the parking staff that added more to the comfort.
I have recently availed meet and greet parking facility at Britannia airport parking. I have simply found it extremely incredible and in accordance with what I always desire. I truly appreciate and recommend it to others as well.
I had become completely fed up of travelling previously. I am enriched with gratitude after such a wonderful experience with britannia parking. I did not have to worry about my heavy luggage neither have to wait for my turn for booking. this was a superb service with an amazing experience.
i have recently availed this service on nov15th. i have had an amazing experience with it. i did not have to wait for long as i used to do before, after making an online booking i directly met their meet and greet staff, an employee parked my car and i comfortably went to the the airport within no time. i started off my journey with much ease that i myself have not experienced that before. with the invention of this service traveling has become ultimately easy. i just loved it.
We used this service returning on 16th October. The meet and greet aspect of the service was very good. However, we booked for a car wash to be done before it was returned. It was dark when the car was dropped back to us but it was obvious straight away that the car wash had not been done. The driver was not going to say anything to us until we pointed it out to him. He then said that ours and one other car had come back to them without the wash being done. He apologised and said he would pay for the fee to exit the car park (which he did). He also said he would arrange for an immediate refund on to our credit card of the car wash price. After a week I checked and no refund had appeared. I have been chasing this refund ever since. I have even spoken to the owner twice who says he will arrange an immediate refund and ring me back to confirm. Every time I speak to someone they all say they will arrange the refund or it has already been done, every time nothing happens. I gave them a last chance to sort this and was promised yet again it would be sorted and someone would ring me with proof it had been carried out. Surprise, surprise nothing happened. Now put in the hands of credit card company. Would never recommend them to anyone as they are a totally unprofessional outfit, especially when even the owner cannot keep a promise to you. We have previously used Ace Meet and Greet Service and they were fantastic and would highly recommend them over this shower. You pay a tiny bit more but it is worth it to make sure you get the service that you want.
ON SEPT 28TH 2013 MY CAR WAS DELIVERED BACK TO CAR PARK 6 THE THE DRIVER FOR BRITANNIA SEEMED VERY ANXIOUS TO GET AWAY ONCE HE HAD GIVEN ME MY EXIT TICKET HE WAS GONE WITHOUT CHECKING AROUND THE CAR.SOMEBODY TOLD ME THAT AT THE GROUND FLOOR HE NEARLY KNOCKED SOMEONE OVER RACING TO GET OUT.AS I WAS GETTING INTO MY CAR SOMEBODY SHOUTED OVER THAT MY TYRE WAS COMPLETELY FLAT..END RESULT HAD TO HAVE A NEW TYRE AS IT HAD BEEN DRIVEN ON AND BLOWN AROUND THE RIM.BRITTANIA WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH IT THEY SAY IT WAS OK WHEN HE LEFT IT THERE...MMMM.I WAS STUCK THERE FOR 2 1/2 HOURS..AGAIN DO NOT USE THIS BUNCH OF AMATEURS
Second time I used them and gave benefit of doubt first time as they kept me waiting for my car after I called them when I collected baggage as requested.
Both times I waited nearly 30 mins so would have been quicker to get the shuttle bus to the long stay car park.
They are cheap, but pay £10 more elsewhere and get better service.
Used this company for the first time and was very impressed. When we arrived at the airport our driver was already waiting even though we were a little early. Very polite and friendly - even helped us with our luggage. On our return, we called after we had collected our luggage we were expecting to wait a while for our car but again they were there waiting for us. Couldn't fault Britannia. Will definitely use them again when fly off for skiing in January.
Upon arrival at Gatwick North I was met by a rude man who did not even say hello...just greeted me with his hand out and saying 'keys'! He then proceeded to look around my car scribbling lines and symbols on a sheet of paper. He then thrust this at me and said 'sign'! I did this and he then walked to the driver side. My daughter and I took our cases from boot and after a quick discussion between ourselves as to whether that was all we had to do we started walking towards lift. My daughter happened to glance back and the rude man was writing on the paper again after I had already signed it. I immediately returned to him to question what he was changing and he had put a D in a circle pointing to the rear of my car. I questioned this and he said 'dent'. I asked him to show me where and he immediately said he haws wrong and scribbled it out. I asked him if I could have a copy of this sheet of paper as I did not want him making changes (especially incorrect ones) after I had left. He spoke extremely little English but used his hands to tell me to take a photo on my phone. I did this and he then handed me a very small piece of paper with return instructions which he should have given me in the first instance, but hadn't. This paper actually stated 'failure to present this receipt to our member of staff on return may cause unnecessary delays and extra charges' ......well lucky I went back then!
Upon our return at the ungodly hour of 3.15am we called them 5 times ( no answer) using both numbers given before getting through. Finally we got hold of someone who said they were coming straight away. They actually arrived 55 minutes and two more phone calls to them later. No apology and same non English speaking rude man. There were definite scuff marks on the rear of my car that were new and not there before. I pointed this out and he made out that he could not understand me! We finally gave up and left for home.
I will NEVER use this company again and would strongly advise anyone else to avoid them.
Used the service - Paid for the top level car wash - worst ever wash that could have been done as seemed only to have dragged a dirty rag over the car and vacuumed over the inside, five jumpers and all the floor mats removed and never returned. Was promised when vehicle delivered that items would be returned the next day!!! Guess what never happened. Only plus point is that we only had to wait 20 minutes when dropped and delivered back and the drivers were nice enough.
Advice is pay a little more and get a worthy service that is out to take advantage!!!
WARNING DO NOT USE BRITANIA AIRPORT PARKING: We landed from at Gatwick at appox 8.40pm and called Britania Parking to pick up our car and they told us it would not start, We had meet and Greet and they came and picked us up in a car that we just fitted into. we arrived at the compound where the car was parked and found it with no power at all, i called the AA and they came out and examied the car and told us they britania parking had left the ignition on and that it had drained the battery, we left there compound at 12.15am they acted like they did not care and denied they left the ignition on, I had to take the risk of driving back to swindon hoping we did not break down after getting some charge in the battery, would never use or reccomend them again, Disgracefull Service and we will be seeking compensation
We called in enough time (20 minutes before we arrived) to meet our car on our way home and it took Britannia an hour to arrive . It came about that another customers car was brought instead and Britannia made excuses about an accident between the terminals. We do not condone companies who lie whose service we have paid for. Neither the person in the control room took responsibility for this error nor did the driver. And nobody called us to tell us how late they would be. Having two young children waiting in the rain for our car which took an hour to be returned was disgraceful. There was no apology, no understanding. We will not use again and are looking for compensation. You pay peanuts.....
Very good at meeting us at the airport to pick up our car, quick and efficient and then we were on our way leaving the car with the representative. Only gripe would be that when we returned we called the number as instructed whilst we were in baggage collection, but were told to ring again once we had actually got our luggage, which we did do. Unfortunately we were out of the airport and waiting in the freezing cold for around 10 to 15 minutes for them to bring the car. If only they had set out when we originally rang them and we would have been in a nice warm car as soon as we came out of the airport. Would use again but would tell them we already had our baggage to ensure they are outside waiting for us especially in winter.

Good value, the only thing is it can be a pain when dropping off as there are so many vehicles and other companies using the area at the same time. Returning was easier. I would use them again.
I have used Britannia Airport Parking many times and have never had any problems, the car was collected and delivered within 10 minutes of us arriving.
The last time we used them we left a wallet in the car and did not notice until we had cleared passport control and customs, we phoned Britannia Airport Parking and they returned the wallet to passport control within 30 minutes without any qualms.
Were met on time and when we realised a passport was missing we telephoned Britannia and they searched the car and were back with the passport within ten minutes ,it had fallen on the floor of the car .Amazing service and an amazing holiday thanks to Britannia.
On time collection and return. friendly staff and polite also. Would recommend. Long may this service continue.

Brilliant service from the word go. I was very nervous about using this service as I didn't no what to expect. The whole experience was straight forward and hassle free. The booking was very easy the meet and greet instructions were clear and easy to follow. The car and driver were both there on time , the driver was a lovely gentleman very friendly and made me feel at ease about leaving the car with them. The whole experience rounded my holiday off In a fab way. I would definitely use the company and service again and will also recommend you to all my family and friends if they want an hassle free experience. Couldn't fault in anyway.
Booked for Gatwick on 2nd January 2013 including car wash. Whilst the service to collect and deliver the car was excellent (even at the 6am drop off and 11.30pm collection times) it was disappointing that the car wash had not been undertaken. More disappointing was that they felt the need to destroy the original Honda Leather key fob rather than carefully remove it from the ring. I can only assume that removing the leather key fob made it easier for them to store the key in their cabinet?
Still no confirmation that they have since refunded the monies to the credit card as the car wash was not undertaken.
Our overall experience was good. We were not sure what to expect as we hadn't tried this method of airport parking before. The instructions could have been a bit clearer as to where we were dropping off and picking up. The driver was pleasant, I wouldnt go as far as saying friendly as he wasnt very chatty, just there to do the job and go home attitude. We were looking for a Britannia uniform or van on collection which would have made it easier although when the driver approached he knew what he was doing. On pick up at the end of our holiday we rang when we collected baggage and he was there within about 20mins. It was a cheap way to park the car and would use it again.
We had to wait 20 mins for driver to turn up and collect car, even though we called 20 mins before. No mileage was taken.
Delivery of the car was brilliant, as arrived same time as we left the terminal.
Would recommend, but not if you have an early morning flight, and want to drop car off about 4am!
No one was there to meet us immediately, despite calling twice. Once at 20 minutes away, then again at 5 minutes away as requested. We still had to wait 10 minutes.
On the return we called them after collecting our luggage as instructed and no-one turned up for 30 minutes. Completely unacceptable as far as i am concerned.

Was to book. Collected on time - and whilst the collection was on time we were waiting on the wrong level for arriving flights - so may be worth just making customers aware of which level to collect your ehicle from in future
Thanks to the great service we received from Brittania parking our holiday started and ended well. The instructions for the drop off and collection were clear, we called 20 minutes prior to arrival and our car was collected promptly. It arrived back at the time we requested. The staff were polite and courteous and the car looked very clean. Thank You
As first timers to Meet and Greet we were unsure as to how it would work. In the event the colllection of the car was smooth with little delay at the airport. And on our return the car was brought to us as stated 20 minutes after my phone call from baggage reclaim. A good experience that we will probably do again in the future.
They were there when we arrived to go on holiday, when we came back called them as soon as we picked up our luggage and they called me as we were walking down the ramp to say our car was waiting, an excellent service.. would use again for sure

I have had some bad experiences previously with using valet style parking at Gatwick - mostly long waits for car to dropped off upon return, even driver going to the wrong terminal - so was prepared, given how competitively priced Britannia were, for having to compensate in some way. However, all those fears were quickly and completely dismissed. Britannia offered the best value service - including a free car wash - were flawless in their drop off and pick up of the car, frequently in contact with updates and clear instructions, courteous and nothing was too much effort, even when we had to cut short our holiday due to illness. Thank you for a fantastic service, and we'd definitely recommend you to anyone.
