No Delivery, No Customer Service, No Refund - AVOID

Placed an order in Jan 2012 for 2 bouquets one of which has never been delivered. Contacting customer service to get a refund is a joke this company is just not interested. A manager is never available to speak to. If you leave a message they will not get back to you. Should you speak to someone that promises to process the refund you will be told it takes 10 days to appear in your account, which is just a delay tactic it seems. So far we have been told 3 times that we will be getting our refund without any result.

Its a shame that we didn't use our Credit Card because we would be pursuing a refund via the credit card company now. Utterly disappointed, will never use this company again!

Poor quality

I ordered an attractive looking bouquet costing £19.99 to be delivered in time for my mother's birthday. The bouquet did not arrive on the day, was delivered upside down in a cardboard box by Royal Mail and looked like it had been purchased past its sell by date from a petrol station.

Lesson learned: you get what you pay for - there's a reason why British Bouquets seem so 'reasonable.'

Terrible

On December 19th 2011 I ordered from British Bouquet 1 x Pine Tree Decoration and 1 x box of Continental chocolates as a Christmas present for my sister and bother-in-law. I requested the delivery to be made on Saturday 24th December (Christmas Eve). Total cost was £45.98p

The delivery was made two days early on December 22nd, the Continental chocolates were just a normal box of chocolates and instead of this lovely decoration she received a pathetic bouquet of flowers.

Friday 23rd I became aware of the delivery when my sister rang to thank me for the bouquet of flowers. After asking a few questions, I soon realised that she had not received the correct order so I emailed the company with the following email.

I am writing to complain about this order that was received by the recipient today.

1. I requested the delivery to be made on Saturday and it arrived today.
2. The order was for the Pine tree Centre Piece and she has a bouquet of flowers.
3. The order was for a box of CONTINENTAL chocolates - she has a box similar to diary milk tray.

You've charged me £45.98 and not supplied what I've ordered and more importantly NOT what you described on your website. I'd like some form of compensation.

On December 26th I received a response and a request for a photo which was duly supplied.

On December 28th I had a response to the photo sent with an apology explaining it was a dispatch error and could they send a large bouquet of flowers and the correct chocolates.

I asked them to actually fulfil the original order as she could still use the table decoration over New Year.

They replied by saying they would now send this out on January 5th 2012.

Nothing arrived.

They were emailed again on January 10th as still nothing had been received. This time I was told they were out of stock of the metal pot which was expected in on January 12th.

January 13th, still nothing so I emailed again to be told they were still waiting for the pot and could they send a bouquet of flowers instead. I confirmed that as it was now way after Christmas and New Year then flowers it had to be plus the correct chocolates.
January 15th confirmation email from them to say a fresh order had been sent.

January 17th finally my sister received a decent bouquet of flowers but still the same chocolates.

I wouldn't use this company again.

Perfect - unlike other reviews???

V surprised to see such bad reviews!! I specifically looked for this company on here to leave a positive review. I have ordered twice, both at Christmas, and had absolutley no problems at all. Delivery arrived on time, used promotional codes to receive discounts and fruit baskets where excellent - hence why returned. Despite reviews, I will be using again later this year. Shame about the poor reviews - I thought they were doing well!

If you want flowers delivered on time - do not use this company!

I ordered flowers from this company for my mums 50th birthday - I ordered (and paid) for next day delivery, even though I recieved confirmation with this delivery date on there was no delivery - aparently I had placed my order 30 minutes too late so no delivery in time. Which left me with one very awkward phone call with my mum to explain i honestly hadnt forgotten her birthday, there was just a delivery mistake, no prizes for guessing im not currently her favourite daughter ;o( The lesson I have learnt is to stick to a well known flower delivery company. I'll be using Next. M&S and Interflora from here on in. Also wishing I had read some of the other reviews before my order seems this is a constant problem with this company.

If you order flowers for delivery on a day and get a receipt they should be delivered then

Ordered very expensive flowers and chocolates from web site (£50).

Order stated for delivery friday and got email confirming.

Friday evening - no delivery, no answer on phone at 5pm. Left message on answer phone. No point in delivering if not going to be friday.

Surley flower deliveries are very often date dependent.

Left same mesage via email.

Email back saturday - read turms and conditions (although we confirm we will deliver on a certain day - we can deliver when we want).

Emailed back (saturday morning 9 am) - cancel order and reimburse. No replay

Monday - flowers are already in transit cannot cancel order.

So the flowers were dispatched by a national courier on friday, going to be delivered today (monday) when there will be no-one in. Too late for reason sent.

Just how old are these flowers going to be by the time they are first seen?

www.britishbouquets.co.uk? look like an interflora wanabee.

In fact nothing like. No local delivery. No fresh produce. Why bother?

Wish I'd used interflora
