Satisfaction guaranteed!
I'd been meaning to buy from BCS for quite a while, but wasn't sure everything would go smoothly. It seemed like a lot of hassle just for a few goodies reminding me of home. But now, I'm delighted and will continue to order stuff online from this shop. Next stop the sausage and bacon counter, with some sliced bread thrown in!

The British Corner Shop is an excellent way to treat friends with items that they can't get in their own shops! You assume that because goods are available in Britain they can be obtained everywhere. Not so,but now with the corner shop treats galore!!!!!!!

Very well packed and all my goods were snugly and cosy!
Thank you once again for generally quick fast effective service.... Despite the time zone difference! I am always impatient to receive my goods! The Quavers and Wotsits are never crushed cos they are well packed! Where would my baking reputation without BCS for my UK baking supplies! My fave products which I can not do without ( not counting baking supplies) are WW tins of beans and 'skettie.... Grants tinned premium steak.... Would really like to see the rhubarb on.... And now the tins apple are out of stock too! Is there a reason for this asvthevrhubarb has been out of stock for well over 12 months now! Should it be deleted perhaps as it so raises my hopes for a pie.....

Excellent service, even better since postage to Spain reduced
Love this site. I usually only use the BCS once or twice a year for 'luxury' items. Very pleased with the selection of goods on offer. It is even better since the postage cost to Spain has been reduced. Over the years that I have used them, the delivery has greatly improved. My order arrived on the estimated date via UPS (whereas a.few years ago it was delivered to the local post office), which was more convenient. Would definitely recommend.

Great service every time.
I love dealing with BCS. I often forget something that I want, but when I send an email, it's always added to my order with no problem! The cost of shipping can't be beat either. It costs as little to order from BCS as it does to order from a shop in France.

Absolutely outstanding service and care.
I discovered British Corner Shop through a link that was on the expat. section of The Daily Telegraph online. I read many of the reviews and they were 98% positive so thought I would give it a go. I ordered $300 CAD worth of goods which was my 100% loading for the one small delivery price.
The goods arrived extremely well packaged and undamaged 7 days later. I've had letters and greeting cards take much longer!
It was like Xmas in May!!
The only additional charge was $37 CAD in taxes ( darn taxes )
Totally totally satisfied and will not hesitate to recommend or use the British Corner Shop again.

Best shop ever!

What a sensational company!

Just do it!
If you got the craving for some brittish crisps you know no substitute will ever be good enough; this is what brought me to this shop in the first place. Even though shipping is high (20 GBP) the other online shops I had checked were even more insane (50 and 90 GBP respectively!) and once you have a craving you need to scratch that itch. So I joined up with a few friends to fill up a box properly and in the end and a couple of hundred bags of crisps later I'm one happy shopper.
Quick delivery, good selection of goods and clear communication through out inc. refund on missing stock.

"Definitely our corner shop"
where we live is rural to say the least , we order several times a year for those items Intrinsically English you just cannot live without .
Having lived in France for several years you soon learn it is not the country of culinary delights ,quite the opposite in fact , and so it is a life saver to be able to buy good quality food from a company you can rely on.

I relish the fact that you run such a great company.
Super service, very quick delivery to U S A. Only problem is on delivery to USA they left food parcel in the sun on porch , chocolate, was melting. what a shame, so in the fridge it went.

Definitely worth some waiting!
As this was my first experience with BCS,I was a bit worried.I had ordered books and clothes in online shops before,but this time I ordered some food items.I didn't know if the parcel would be really delivered soon,or if everything wouldn't be a mess inside the box.As the tracking reference proved to be useless and the parcel didn't turn up at the supposed time I started to feel really worried.Luckily,after waiting one more week,I got it! The way the items were packed excluded any sort of damage.My family is absolutely happy with the quality of the items,especially the kids! I certainly will place more orders at BCS!(I only wish the shipping cost were not that high)

In regards to shipping costs this is something we are continuously working on, and over the last 9 months we have reduced the shipping rate to 9 different countries. As we grow as a business and receive more orders from Russia we hope to be able to reduce the costs to this country as well.

Beyond Perfect!!!
At first glance I thought the new shipping charges were a bit much but when I began to realize what size order I could place--well the TOTAL cost is quite reasonable. Go ahead--get two boxes of tea, extra bath gel etc. The base price of goods is very reasonable considering what the same goods (that is, if available) would cost at an import shop.
Not to forget how fast the service is--less than 1 week from Bristol to Sacramento, California!!

Great Food, Great Prices, Great Service!
While living abroad you forget how much you miss the English food but British Corner Shop bring home to you. You will probably be ashamed at the excitement you feel for getting a box stuff full of Pot Noodles, Marmite and Dolmio sauces delivered to you, however open in secret and no one needs to know (and you don't have to share)!
All your ordered items come individually wrapped and carefully packaged in a large box, making it like Christmas when it arrives :) I have ordered many times now and always had such great service, I will always think of BCS first when craving a bowl of baked beans.

In regards to the price of crisps; because our business is considerably smaller than that of Tesco, we do not have the buying power that large supermarket chains like this do, which means that our prices are slightly higher.
However, our business is growing rapidly and over time this will improve our buying power and give us the opportunity to lower our prices.
Last week we begun this process and reduced the price of over 400 popular products and over the next 6-12 months we plan to do this for hundreds more.

Excellent service but watch those best by dates!
I think your service is great. Quick, comprehensive and even better now the postage for Italy has gone down. Only problem is as I buy things in quantities to keep me going for a while it's a bit disappointing when some of the best before dates are a bit short. I bought self raising flour which had a best buy date six months away. The flour I bought in my last order which I placed probably about six months ago had the same date as this one! Hence the 4 stars.

BCS - I LOVE YOU!
A friend gave me the BCS advertising card, and asked if it might be of any use. Neither of us had heard of BCS, so I looked up their website, and was amazed! An Aladdin's cave of over 8,000 British foodstuffs and other things at prices cheaper than I was buying them at my not-so-local English shop here in France. And that included the unbelievable P & P - only £11.99 for up to £100 worth of goods and a weight of 25 to 30 kg. £11.99!! The next shocker was that for orders over the £100, the P & P was HALF PRICE!
Needless to say, I got ordering ASAP. The procedure was simple to follow and you could see at a glance exactly what you'd spent and how much the items in the shopping basket weighed. Another bonus is that you can earn points on some of the bought items. I put in a large-ish order - (thought I'd take advantage of the half price postage), and ordered lots (well, to be more precise - ALL of my favourite things), and then some.
The parcel arrived within a week, which was a pleasant surprise, and for the postal systems in both the UK and France, something of a miracle! Everything was safely coccooned in bubble wrap, nothing was damaged, not even the glass jars, and all of my order had been fulfilled. From now on the BCS is going to be MY Corner Shop. Gone are the days of wasting money on costly P & P from a dozen or so other places, or waiting for friends to visit with 'essential supplies', I'm now a dedicated BCS Shopper!
