As I sit here at my desk in St Lucia contemplating an afternoon's work whilst munching a Cadbury's fudge bar, I am reflecting on the impeccable service that brought this delicious treat to me. It was the first time I have used British Corner Shop and I have found every aspect of their service to be excellent. There are a lot of things that are hard to get here in St Lucia which are available on your website making it a go to place for the little things that are a reminder of home. The other challenge out here is getting things delivered quickly and on this I can't fault the service, the order was here within 7 days. I am already spreading the word to other expats here on the island! Thank you for making my day today!
Waited for two weeks for adequate stock. And told some of them were out of stock after delivered two weeks after purchase. Where is rest of the postal cost then if some of them are never delivered.
Really appreciate being able to get some UK products, especially non-allergy washing items, but unforunately when I got home the delivery company had put the box of 28 bottles on its side despite lots of arrows showing which way round it should go. I haven't check all the bottles as yet, but at least 4 of them had leaked a little - not a complete disaster, but rather messy!
I refuse to give up on some of my favourite foods from home and your online shop is just about the easiest way I've found to get them. To be able to order what I want, when I want is just like being at home and popping down to the shops.

I had a large order with the British Corner Shop. It was filled promptly, completely and shipped in a timely fashion. The products were packed really well and all were in good condition on arrival. I will use this company again and I would certainly recommend them.
It doesn't matter how old you are there are always little things that remind me of England. Often I wish I could....now I can, even down to the beer. (No pun intended.) The variety of products and brands is so wide that my twice a year stockpile is there when the urge hits.

Britain is one of my favorite places to visit, and I've been there so many times I've nearly lost count. Every time I visit, I always fill my suitcases with my favorite British food items, and I always struggle to get it all home again. And I can never get the crisps and Tuc crackers home without ending up with bags of squished inedible crumbs. Now that I've discovered the British Corner Shop, I don't have to do that anymore. I can get all the crisps, flapjacks, sandwich spreads, and other fun items that I can't get here in the U.S., conveniently shipped right to my door in about a week. The best part is the flat-rate shipping. The boxes are huge and hold tons of goodies. And the crisps and crackers aren't ruined! I will be back again and again and again!
Sensible to check prices because although most are more than reasonable a very few products can be overly expensive but I guess that can be said if any mail order company. The thing I especially liked about BCC is they listen to customers requests and will add individual products you might ask for very quickly indeed.
Packing was absolutely perfect with every individual item separately bubble wrapped and having seen how that is done, I now wouldn't even hesitate to order products in glass jars etc.
Delivery was reasonably priced and very prompt and overall, I'd say this company offer a VERY good service indeed. :)

Everything went fine, shipping abroad maybe a bit expensive.
I find the selection available very wide. Since they've reduced the postage costs to Greece I am more than ever tempted to place orders. As the Easter in Greece is in May this year I was able to get some real bargains for the kids over here! Keep up the good work.
Was desparate for real bovril(with beef extract like it should have, not some mangy yeast substitute which they now sell in Australia) and this was the only place i could get it sent to me easily. Fast, efficient service (though admittedly my items havent arrived yet)
Easy to order and know what you are paying. The delivery was also great, a tracking system that updates you on where your order is, delivery home to your front door, excellent choice of food and drink to a reasonable price. It felt like Xmas day when the parcel arrived, have been missing my favourites from home for a long time.
This time all the goods were okay, the boxes of Thorntons fresh and presentable. I would have liked to have ordered some "fresh goods" but I suppose the length of the journey is too long.
Is Parcel Force much quicker ? Asking this because it costs more.

I was drawn in by the idea of easily getting English products that I miss living here in Paris, also, I am gluten intolerant and so I got some gluten free bread and breadcakes (which are pretty impossible to track down here), paying the extraordinary postage costs for so little just to try it out.
I ordered a while ago, and have waited patiently. However, over the last week I have repeatedly been told by the courier service they would arrive at a certain time for them not to bother. I have waited in the house all day for two days now, and they expect me to wait again tomorrow. I have had to talk them out of leaving the parcel at random shops down my street while I've been at work before learning that they hadn't actually gone to my neighbourhood anyway. I have spoken with them calmly repeatedly while they denigrated me for being English among more general slurring and swearing. Just now, after waiting all day, the courier finally picked up the phone to tell me he was on his way, I call him back multiple times, he picks up 3 hours later and he tells me he finished work at 5 and will come tomorrow.
It has been a horrible experience, and should they not show up again tomorrow I will be requesting a full refund. Completely unacceptable.
slow, slow, delivery. taking 10 days still not received.even charge big on delivery. disappoint. compare to my other order from euro. normaly only taking 4 working days.
I received my order within 2 weeks of ordering. Everything arrived and all items were delivered free of breakages.
I was not in when the parcels were delivered but the deliveryman left a note as to where they were and all I had to do was unpack and put away.

BSC web page is fairly easy to navigate and paying is super easy. Fast and efficient delivery. No dents in the box and everything was packed well and safely. Shame about the slip-up in the order. Orange juice turned out to be Orang and Mango. Got an extra tin of beans though! :)
This was my first order with British Corner Shop. I ordered $150 worth of products plus delivery charge to the USA came to just under $200. The prices for goods are very good, the selection is outstanding. Delivery was super fast and when it arrived I was very impressed at how it was packaged. Everything was bubble wrapped (I had alot of jars) my bread had been placed in a box within the box so it wouldn't get crushed in transit. Every item had a long date on it as I was stocking up my cupboards with treats for when the home sickness kicks in as well as things I just can't get in the USA. One item was unavailable so they had replaced it with an extra item from my list so I was happy. Although I will not run out of things for a few months I am already starting a new cart with more things. Can't wait for my next delivery!!
Their telephone contact is very good. My initial call from me, placed an order, gave full delivery details, along with a credit card number .
They did send me details of the customer name they had given me etc. After that ............SILENCE:
The general advertising by the company specifically points out their rapid delivery. After 10 days without hearing from the company, I sent them a "where is my order " e-mail.
I received a rapid response, with the assurance the order would be expedited, but with no reason for the delay.
I responded with a longer, indignant e-mail, in which I acknowledged that I had received theirlast e-mail, but after a few days, had still not heared anything.
I then sent a longer e-mail demanding the reason for the delay.
This was responed to by a supervisor who apologised for the order delay due to the internal ordering system. this was the first proffesional answer I had received.
The ordered product arrived at my home 8 days later. Total time elapsed from my order placing until delivery about 3 weeks.
She did apologise for the delay and offered a 10% discount off my next order
