Clean ships, comfortable cabins, excellent staff
I always think that the real test of a service business is when something goes wrong.
On a recent crossing on my own with three children we took a cabin as usual. About an hour into the crossing, a blocked drain in the bathroom led to a flood. I wandered up to the information desk to ask for some help, and about fifteen seconds after I got back to the cabin to move the kids to a higher bunk a team of four descended upon us.
Two of them scooped up our possessions and whisked us to another cabin (an upgrade) while the other two started opening panels and waving wrenches around.
No-one could apologise enough - I even got an email apologising again when I got home.
The ships are always clean, the staff are always helpful. And they serve the Western Channel ports which is very convenient if you live in or visit Western France.

Great Service
Great service the ships nice and clean with easy to load car deck. Staff helpful and prices not too bad for refreshments. Arrived right on time and even though it was a rather choppy sea the ship gluided along. Plymouth to Roscoff. The reason I gave 4 stars as the pricing is on the high side well quite high really unless you study the web page well and discover their ferry offers!

It was a great trip, the food onboard is as good as, if not better than some restaurants we tried in France.

Very good indeed
We live in Spain and travel to and from England quite frequently. We have had awful experinces with Ryan/Easy and only fly now when it is an emergency. On the other hand Brittany Ferries have been unfailingly excellent. Their ships are fast, clean, comfortable and the catering is excellent. Unlike the airlines changing a booking is easy and inexpensive. The website is excellent and the telephone staff are knowledgeable and helpful. If you travel frequently on Brittany Ferries ships The Travellers Club offers real savings and is well worth joining.
