Cowboy Criminals

They failed to honour the terms as per the confirmation email, they gave incorrect details to the apartment vendor.

They totally messed me around, I got conflicting email replies from the apartment vendor vs what budget places emails claimed
.
They then refuse to refund my money, they breach data protection laws, they are not PCI compliant.

Their customer service is diabolical.. the list goes on....

DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLL!

Good Customer Service

I had a question about a payment I did and I didn't expect a response to be honest. To my surprise 5 minutes later I had a personal answer to my question. If this is the quality I may expect on my entire holiday I will be a verry happy man.

Don't bother unless you're desperate

Abominable service. On the surface you think you're getting a reasonable deal (especially after trawling the internet for hours looking for somewhere cheap but decent to stay).

However, key issues with this provider and with the accommodation we booked through them are as follows;

- No warning of the level of noise to expect; me and my friend did not sleep at all the first night and only part of our second night due to thin walls and bare floors. Every sound was audible, including TVs in other rooms, taps running and footsteps guaranteed to wake the soundest sleeper.
- A mouse happily scampered across the room on our second evening, when we chose to stay in as totally exhausted from the night before.
- I have since emailed twice to voice my opinion and offer some suggestions for improvement. I have had no response from budgetplaces.com since I raised the issue over two weeks ago
- Whilst trying to find places to post my review (as I promised I would if I heard nothing from them), I discovered that they have made it seemingly impossible to do so. It's now quite obvious why!

STAY AWAY....they are a GANG...

I booked my hotel by them ... a totaly failure...the hotel claimed they had never a booking request for my reservation. Budgetplaces had sent me a confirmation mail and sms 2 times but without having any positive reply from the hotel. Be carefull about the calling center, they are working few hours daily and less in weekend. They have calling departments in such few places, so prepare for paying international calls in any trouble...! Dont try the skype contacts...you will never get answer...!

Good cheap accommodation

A good website to use for booking cheap accommodation overnight.

Good customer service for any issues which arose.

May I suggest that Budget Places do mystery shopper exercise randomly to ensure that the hotels are providing accommodation as advertised.

Do not count on that you get what is described. And there is no possibility of cancellation. Be careful. Total disappointment!!!!!

Husk afbestillingsforsikring

Jeg bestilte et værelse i Paris, jeg valgte "pris, billigst til dyrest". Der var 3 værelser der kostede ca 8000 kr for 30 dages ophold, jeg valgte det der lå tættest på Opera. Det 4. dyreste stod til 18000 kr. Da bekræftelsen kommer står der en pris på ca 8000 EURO. noget af en pris forskel. Dette vil jeg naturligvis ikke betale, så jeg tager kontakt med www.budgetplaces.com (BP). De siger det ikke er rigtigt, jeg har ikke set de priser jeg nævner og vil se bevis. Jeg sender den mail jeg har sendt videre til en person i Danmark. Men nu står der euro i linken. Vi er 2 personer der i hver sin ende af verden (jeg bor i sydamerika) har set den pågældende pris. Og fordi jeg ikke har skrevet afbestillingsforsikring, hvilket jeg ingenlunde fandt nødvendigt. Har BP trukket 1057 Euro fra min konto. Penge jeg kun kan få tilbage, hvis jeg bruger deres hoteller indenfor 6 måneder. Det er ikke overvældende tit jeg er i Europa, og slet ikke i så lang tid ad gangen. Hvordan skal jeg lige nå at bruge de penge.
HVIS du alligevel bruger BP, så husk endelig at tegne afbestillingsforsikring. Og regn ikke med den pris, der stå er korrekt. Hvis det lyder for godt til at være sandt, er det det helt sikkert ikke sandt.

great deal

I booked via budgetplaces twice during the last year and it was always the right choice - quick, clear, easy and a good choice of accomodations in many destinations. ...will definitely use budgetplaces in the future!

Great service

I found what I was looking for in a few minutes. The information about the different types of accommodation is very clear.
I had some questions and when I called the phone was picked up immediately. I got very good tips from the representative who helped me.
I will definitely keep on using budgetplaces.com for my getaway trips.

Website lied!

I knew it was too good to be true. They showed photos that weren't of my hotel! I thought I was booking a room with 2 beds due to their wording and photos but no, it was a room with one bed! Not happy so I tried to cancel, can only do by email, not a quick process and will lose the money they immediately charge your credit card. I won't use them again!

Duidelijk en gemakkelijk

Ikzelf en vrienden van mij hebben al meerdere malen gebruik gemaakt van Budgetplaces.com. Het is heel eenvoudig om hotels te bekijken en te boeken. De info over de hotels is duidelijk en realistisch. Zeker een aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een leuk en budgetvriendelijk hotel/Hostel.

A la recherche d'une location dans le centre de Barcelone, j'ai été très satisfaite de l'accueil, des propositions et des conseils.
La location retenue était très bien située en plein centre tout en étant au calme.

Budget places rocks!

I have been using them for work and pleasure travel for a couple of years now and I have no complaints to date. Very nice website that provides an easy and quick access for finding, previewing and booking a hotel. Their hotel description is accurate and their star rating is real. Customer service is good as well and they are able to handle any issues that you may have.
They also have a good reward system so you can get nice discounts every now and then!

Rápido, fácil y seguro

Primer vez que reservo con budgetplaces.com para ir a Paris y me pareció excelente! el Servicio al Cliente por teléfono para orientación fue de gran ayuda para encontrar un hospedaje con muy buena relación precio-calidad, excelente ubicación y demás. Tengo mas viajes planeados y seguiré usando budgetplaces.com así como también recomendandola a mis amigos.

Chiaro, facile da usare e soprattutto affidabile

Un sito dalla piattaforma intuitiva, facilissimo da usare e che ti catapulta in vacanza ancora prima di partire. Eccellente nella presentazione delle diverse proposte che vanno dagli hotel, ostelli, B&B fino agli appartamenti: c'è di tutto per tutte le tasche. Tutte le offerte/proposte sono corredate da tantissime informazioni, proprio per farti sentire a tuo agio, con foto, filmati e giudizi degli viaggiatori. Per quanto riguarda le prenotazioni non è stato mai così semplice. Io ormai uso solo Budgetplaces per l'Italia e per l'estero, perchè accontentarsi?

"Imprescindible para todo viajero"

Hace un par de meses un amigo me recomendó budgetplaces.com para encontrar hotel en Londres. La experiencia fue tan positiva que desde entonces lo uso para todos mis viajes. Es cómodo y muy fácil de usar. La relación calidad-precio de los hoteles que ofrecen es excelente, su ubicación es siempre estupenda, a poca distancia a pie de los lugares más interesantes de la ciudad. En definitiva, 100% recomendable!!!

Siete stati meravigliosi

Ho prenotato con voi a Barcelona prenotazione n. 12849239 e debbo dire che io e i miei amici ci siamo trovati benissimo. Nessun inconveniente e penso che a settembre ed anche a dicembre torneremo a contattarvi, per ora sempre per Barcelona.

QUICK AND EASY

I have tried budgetplaces website for the first time a month ago to book a budget hotel in Barcelona and had a great experience. Booking was quick and easy and the hotel was in central location.
I will book again from budgetplaces on my next trip.

Easy to find hotels by destination at a good price. Instant confirmation via email with necessary details + some credit for the next reservation + promo codes via their newsletter.
Everything went as expected at the hotel.

Great experience in New York

I used budgetplaces.com to book a very cheap hotel in New York.

Normally NY is crazy expensive, but I get a great deal with them for SoHotel, between SoHo and Chinatown. The room was clean and service was great.

I will definitely use budgetplaces.com again.

Never more!!

I booked two times with budgetplaces and in both cases I have had serious trouble with the owners (for example in the last house I went, [Link] in Barcelona, I have found some 'cockroach' in my bed). I tried to write to budgetplaces.com in order to explain my complaint and write a review. In both cases, they always told me that they will publish my review but they never have done that. A friend of mine has had the same problem. They only get the money of your reservation, the price of the first night!!, and than they don't take care of you or your complaint. In addiction to that, they never publish negative reviews...
Bad place to book your stay!!

Good offer, unbeatable rates

If you're looking for reasonably priced travel accommodation in the up to 3 stars segment - budgetplaces.com is your place to look at. There's a good choice of budget accommodations pretty much everywhere in Europe available, plus new destinations are being added. Nice and clean website, easy to use.

Great Booking Website

I think Is a new web (I have never heard of them before) but the prices were great and the booking took no time so it was a great experience.

Once we arrived to the hotel, everything was great, place was as shown on the web, clean and nice, close to the center and our holidays started with the right foot.

I would definitely book again with them!
