Ordered xperia sp and free ps3 on 8th october. Logged into buymobiles.net and it said claim ok on 8th.
Waited a month no free gift so rang on the 8th november and was offered cash alternative due to time of year and no stock of free ps3 so took the offer. Was told 16 days so waited, 19 days later no money so rang again and was told 10th december so waited. Now its 11th december and no money. Am I just being lied to here? I want to know when im actually going to receive the money

Placed my order 4/12/13 and one week later still no phone.
On 5/12/13 I received an email saying they needed scanned copies of my passport and bank statement and I would hear back within 24 hours. 48 hours came and went and after several phone calls I received an email informing me I had failed the security checks and needed to take it up with Experian. I immediately contacted experian who investigated and got back to me within a few hours advising that buymobiles.net had only put my checks through as a male when I am female!! You would think my name would have made them realise but obviously not. I was then told my order would be put through but the phone by this point was out of stock. Funny the website states the phone is actually IN STOCK!!!
I have rang day after day to find out when they expect stock to arrive but they do not know. I have also emailed several times over the past week since I placed my order and I have NOT received any replies. They are however happy to take money from your bank while they keep you waiting for your phone.
Save yourself the hassle and stress go to Carphone Warehouse. Buymobiles.net are incompetent idiots who do not have a clue about customer service and tell you any old rubbish just to get you off the phone. They repeatedly tell you to contact them via the website but they never reply.
I can only assume the people who have actually had a pleasant experience with this company and actually received a phone the next day bought pay as u go mobiles.
And before you come back with the same old generic reply my order number is 3696314. You've got 24 hours to dispatch my order or I will take my custom elsewhere.
I have bought three phone s in the past from this company with no problems what so ever, however that was a couple of years ago. I ordered a n LG G2 which was in stock and could be delivered the next day, I received an email saying the order was being processed then I received another saying that due to the popularity of the phone there was a delay in processing my order so after reading the reviews I was a little worried but gave it a couple of day s then rang to see what the problem was, I only had to wait about 10 mins for my call to be answered ( it was a free phone number ) and when it was answered a very pleasant young lady called Hannah dealt with me she explained that there was a claw back on one of the previous phones which I was totally unaware of after a little wait whilst she spoke to her manager she told me she would look into it ( it could have been something and nothing ) and email me. I didn't expect to hear in a hurry but within about 15mins I received an email saying that the claw back had been removed and the order was now being processed this was about 6.15 pm then I received another saying the order had been dispatched. I received the phone the next day. it would have been 5 stars had the first email explained why there was a delay on the order .
i was a first sceptical about this site due to the reviews but it was a brilliant deal and thought i would try it.
i ordered the phone (Samsung) on the Sunday and i received an email almost straight away advising me i would get the phone on Tuesday along with a tracking number, Tuesday evening came and at about 6pm the phone was in my hands, to me this is a perfect transaction and would definitely recommend this company.

Order no:3664420 received my phone nearly 2 weeks ago but still no free gift. I Have called them 3 times now and keep being told 7 to 10 days,mailed them twice and no replay. Looks like I'm going to have to take this further by reading all these reviews! NOT HAPPY!!
I ordered a mobile via this company on 29/11/13 and was later asked to send in proof (never heard of) but I sent anyway. I then continued to get messages asking me to send proof after already sending. On the 1/12/13 I rang in and cancelled my order. A day later I got a message my proof has passed checking and a day after a message you item was sent. I got a letter from orange, a could not deliver card (i have not collected from the post office) and a message I was on gadget insurance and news my free gift that i no longer want is delayed. I tried calling today but service ends at 17.30 (but sales opened till 9pm.) and called sales but they can't help. I called orange who told me this contract was never cancelled with them and is active. So now while orange take this up to management, I wait to see why this company ignored my request to cancel.

i took out a contract beginning of oct 13,the phone arrived brilliantly,no free gift though,i chose the acer laptop,i was informed it was out of stock,and asked to wait a further 14 days,no gift arrived,asked again to wait a further 14 days,as stated on website it can take up to 28 days to arrive,at which time if buymobile still didn't have stock I could apply for cash alternative,still waited into November,so applied for cash gift,told this could take up to 16 days to process and go through finance dept etc,ok I thought sounds fairly reasonable,no money,called again to hear finance dept having delays,please wait up to 28 days,which is the 10th dec(tomorrow),I have been told by 3 different reps,yes monies will be in bank by the 10th,i called three who the contract is with about this company,they say there not responsible,only selling contracts to buymobile,net,i don't know how this firm is legally able to trade,i feel they have lied on certain occasions and proberly reading from text,on one occasion I was given a name and extension nb of a rep,only to be told in another conversation this person or ex nb does not exist,i will be reporting this firm to trading standards and any other help I can get to report for mis selling practises,distance selling failures etc, order nb3484429

On 3rd December I placed an order after that receiving an email requesting proof of ID. I sent this the same day yet even today (8th December) you are still requesting this proof of ID. I have sent this information to you more than 9 times in an email.
If I don't hear back from you soon I will be forced to seek legal advice as I am very worried that you have all my personal details and bank details. This is extremely distressing for me and is affecting my sleep. I would hate anyone else to have to go through this experience.

I ordered the new iPhone 5s and got an email wanting copies of my id etc. however I decided I did not feel safe doing this and would just rather go into a shop so wanted to cancel the order. Then went on to my online banking to notice they have taken the £59.99 from my bank already without them not even receiving my id or a phone being dispatched. Order placed in September , no free gift. Ordered pink iphone on 27/11/13 which was suposed to be delivered next day....still not arived. I received a Galaxy S4 with 2yr 3 contract.
Then after 8 days I thought it would have been better to go with T-mobile with the same phone. In the eight days i have not used the sim nor registered it.
So called 3 and they were happy to cancel within 14 days of receiving the sim.
Then I called mobiles.net and after listening to an infinite number of irrational excuses I was told that nothing can be done because 7 days had lapsed (the time to cancel the contract with the distant seller .and if I wanted to cancel with three then that is between 3 and me and I would then be chased up to recover the phone and ........all the rest.
I suggested that they just send me a sim card for T-mobile , from the website offers on Galaxy S4. But this was not possible for them to do.
We have had phones for ourselves continuously for over 7 years ( that is about 2 contracts every 2-3 years from this company and I always decided that this would be the last.
Could not believe it, Service provider is willing to cancel without any problems and I dont even want to cancel with bm.net I just want to switch to another deal available.
Put my claim in for cash back and was even told it had passed by email. 2 months on from that I am still waiting for payment. 2 emails sent to the company and not a single reply.

9 Dec - Contacted on Trust Pilot and asked for my order number. This was previously provided on email and Facebook. I was told, tough no payment until 12 December, because we can't. No explanation, just tough, you will have to wait. It''s clearly breach of contract, but they seem to think that's ok.
I am due or shortly due to provided another claim to them, but is there any point?

Like almost everyone on here, I too did not receive the free gift after a month of waiting so accepted cash alternative. 2 weeks later still not in bank. You took a security payment of £2.50 twice (and did not refund it) so there seems to be no problem taking money from my bank so why is there there a problem paying into it? I have never known a payment to take this long unless in fact it hasn't been paid (in which case I want it paid today) or you actually have no intention of paying it in altogether.
I promise you, if that money isn't paid into my bank within the next week, then I will be billing you with the remaining 22 months of my contract and keeping the phone as a gesture of good will on your behalf.
The reason I came to get my point across on here is because I refuse to waste any more time and money phoning you jokers just to be passed from pillar to post and listen to the absolute drivel spewing from your incompetent face holes.
After reading some of the comments on here yesterday, I was filled with trepidation and nearly cancelled my order. In the end I went with it, though, because I couldn't find as good a deal anywhere else - and actually, everything went just fine! My phone has been delivered as promised, and everything seems (so far, touch wood) to be in good working order. I just wanted to say that here, to reassure other people who might be worried that even though they obviously have problems they clearly do get it right at least sometimes!
well, no cashback for me either!! was due to be sent over on 19th of Novemeber.. I rang after waiting 14 days (no way does it take 14 days for a bacs payment to clear) I was told it had been sent on the 21st and will be in my back on Dec 4th... well today it is Dec 4th and guess what nothing in my bank... its £140 and I refuse to give up on it, I could have got a better offer elsewhere if it wasnt for the promise of cashback! what a joke. Placed an order last week and was asked to provide ID which I did once I recieved the email. I have now had to send the email seven times now as they have either not recieved it or my ID was not clear enough.
Just got off the phone to them to be told that the last email that I sent didnt have any attachments to it but it did!!

Received an e mail last week saying my money would be in my bank Friday, its still not in there so the very nice lady on the phone told me it would be in within 48 hours and that it should show as pending on my bank......but guess what its not........im not happy :-(
went to place an order yesterday for the Samsung Galaxy S4, £25 per month phone was meant to be £129.99 but I had a promo code to get the phone for free. Enter all of my details then it takes me to my securecode for my bank account, I enter my secure code and get a message saying FORBIDDEN. can not go anywhere from there so I emailed them, no reply. Decided to wait until today and check again see if anything had changed only today the code doesn't work so have I now missed out on this because the site didn't work and I got no response???
My first review is below but I have now had two weeks more fun emailing, calling and tweeting with nothing to show for it.
After I placed my original review and was told they would look into my issue I was all hopeful, thinking perhaps I would finally receive if not a phone at least a straight answer. Unfortunately I was sadly mistaken, Instead no one contacted me at all. I then sent some more tweets and the Twitter help account said they would look into it for me.
I did then finally receive an email saying the issue might be with the way my address was spelled and could I please resend my ID and address over again. I dutifully did.
Again I was hopeful that perhaps something was happening for me. But I was wrong. I have received no email reply (this was a week ago) .
I have been tweeting the help account trying to get some progress and they first told me there was a backlog with security checks which they expected to clear in 48 hours.
48 hours later I got in touch to see if finally I would get my phone. But you've guessed it, NO. I was unceremoniously told that the phone I had ordered was now out of stock and they would let me know when it was back in stock.
I asked for an idea of when that might be and no reply. However I did look on the website and can see that for new customers the phone is expected to ship in 3-5 weeks so I can only presume that's the kind of time frame they will tell me when someone bothers to reply to me.
I logged onto the website to see if I could cancel my order and it still says '"Additional verification needed - Your order is queued awaiting processing"
I can not believe that companies are allowed to trade with such appalling business practices. I just don't know what to do now.
I guess I should have heeded all the warnings on here rather than foolishly thinking, maybe it will be different for me? Boy was I wrong.
I placed my order on Thursday night. Was immediately asked to send in my ID, which I did straight away. My message was returned to me undelivered as the mailbox was full. I sent a message via the contact form asking for advice as the helplines were closed by this point. The following day I tried again, mailbox still full. Then I sent another message via the contact form, still no reply. Then I tried tweeting (both the main account and the help account) and received a reply eventually saying they were processing a backlog. Awhile after this I tried to send in my ID again on the hopes that the mailbox would have been cleared, and fortunately the message went through. I waited a few hours but heard nothing.
So after a few more tweets and emails, I received a very weird message saying "Due to previous activity with mobile phone contracts, ordered through the A1 Comms Group, we are unable to provide you with a mobile phone contract." Seeing as this was my first (and last) dealing with A1, boy was I confused. I sent some more messages and tweets to try and understand the message and didn't get any reply so I decided to bite the bullet and phone. After an age on hold I finally got through.
I was told by the lady on the phone (who was very nice so no complaints there) that I had been refused as I didn't appear on the Electoral register and couldn't be found in Experian. At which point, I was very confused as having just renewed my mortgage in the same week, plus had been a customer of Orange for over 10 years and was only applying for an upgrade, I found it very hard to believe there would be anything wrong with my credit rating. Equally I have lived an voted in the same flat for over 3 years and had recently renewed my Electoral registration so still had the letter kicking around so I knew that wasn't true either (I even offered to send them a copy of the letter).
I pointed this out to the lady on the phone and she said she would check with the security team. This ensued some back and forth which was mainly me being on hold and then getting told something something vague that didn't really explain anything. I asked to speak to both the security team and her manager but was refused on both counts.
She then told me to check my details on 192.com to confirm I was on the electoral register. At this point, I started to smell a rat (o.k. I had already done that but this made it worse) because 192.com only shows the 'Edited register' which is publicly available for marketing purposes. I asked her whether they used 192.com to check the electoral register rather than the 'Full register' that the government states should be used for credit checks http://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/faq/voting-and-registration/what-is-the-electoral-register.
At this point she got flustered and said she didn't know. I pointed out that I would not appear in the edited register because I opt out for privacy reasons. I asked again, could they confirm they use the full register? As if not, what that means is they will only grant applications to customers who agree to make their details public for marketing purposes (something I just didn't want to do)? Then she just started saying sorry there is nothing more I can do for you. I asked again if they could confirm they require a customer to reveal their details publicly on the internet before you will grant the application? She just repeated that she could do nothing more to help me. So I had to admit defeat.
I have sent them a further email and a tweet to confirm my suspicion, not sure if anyone will get back to me.
So I learned my lesson, if something seems to good to be true. It is.
P.S. I also refused to take any insurance etc. so I wonder if you are right Joshua (review below) that you only get a contract if you take the insurance.
I have to say how very dissappointed I am by the level of customer service I have received from this company, they have not replied to any emails sent, nor answered my questions when phoned, they said they had requested a call back from management, has the one on duty when I phoned wouldn't speak with me, hence no call back in a week now, last call today , was put on on hold twice and when I asked for call back they said they couldn't do that, so my advice would be think carefully, because if you have any issues you might have problems getting them resolved !!
So I choose my phone, network and tariff. I worked out that paying £80 for an Xperia Z1 would suit me.
Then I tried to order it. Put all my details in. Name, date of birth, address and bank details.
Then credit card details for the payment for the phone.
As per normal, I am redirected to Secured By Visa. I put the details in as asked and submit.
I then get a 'Forbidden' message. Never ever experienced that before!
After a few more attempts I am taken to Experian for a credit check.
I've been in full time employment, continuously, for more than 40 years, have lived in my house for 23 years with only 2 more years of mortgage to pay. Same bank for over 20 years with a Premier account.
Experian page just hangs, and hangs, and hangs, and...........
So I phone. And wait, and wait, and wait, and..........
Then I get the live chat window. Great thinks I.
Not so great in reality.
Explained what kept happening. Got told to refresh and try again.
Tried again. Same thing.
I stupidly thought that there would be an offer of a call back. If they want my business it would make good sense.
No. The response was 'Sorry. Can't help anymore.' Then terminated live chat.
Find another supplier.
I ordered my grey Iphone 5s 16gb on the 21st of November, and within two hours, I had had all the confirmation emails and the email saying it had been dispatched. Then on the 22nd of November, I was able to track it throughout the day, and it arrived in the afternoon. Can't believe how fast the service was. The phone is in perfect condition and all working. Could not have asked for better service! I recommend them!
I have had three phones with this company but this will be my last, I was told when I had the phone that the cash back would be in my account in 90 days (29 th Oct) did not recieve it waited another 14 days nothing .
Sent several email via contact us page they didn't have the decency to reply rang the number after waiting 15 minutes and was told I would be in by the 22nd of Nov.
Just got of the phone to them after a 20 minute wait and they told me its going to be the 27 of Nov, I'm not happy with this unacceptable service and was toll there was nothing he could do, only to read on here that thkey can put an emergency payment to be in account within 48 hours.

I do have three contracts with this company.I also have a mobile that I have been having problems for a long time now.Every time I call the company to do something about this problem I do hear different stories.The buttons on my phone havent worked in a long time and for the last month the screen falls off.I just cant use the phone .

I feel very cross with this company. I order the phone and send ID, then they say they need to cancel the order, regarding the ID check. I ring experian to see what the issue is as i am a customer there. There is no issue! No one wants to help, just keep being messed about. Woulnt mind if my credit score was iffy but its not!
Ordered a phone and new contract on the 13th Nov on the 14th they requested passport and photo driving licence even though my details are on screen from 2010 purchase of Samsung Jet. Sent I.D. 4 times through their link to be told at 6.30they had not received the I.D. then they actually found them in their inbox, amazing. That night they cancelled my order.on the 15th Nov I rang then at customer services and they in turn consulted their security who reinstated the order, but the requested phone was out of stock and would forward when back in stock. On the 16th they cancelled it again, when I phoned they said they would speak with security and get back to me, they never phone back. So I phoned Three anf there has been no application for my phone been made or refused by three so its soley buymobiles.net messing me about we already have 3 Three mobiles in the family and three checked all three accounts and they are A1, all OK, why do they messpeople around instead of being straight with Me

Ok they are cheap the deals seem excellent so you are tempted we were but it comes at a cost and potentially a big one.
Your order goes in and you are going to get charged £2.50 for a credit check. First time I’ve come across it, is it genuine who knows but you can live with it I guess. Then you get an email saying there is a problem ring this number. So you do because you want the phone. 20 mins later on an 0844 number you get through. Problem with your address they say. So you scratch your head as I’ve been at mine since 1995 had more statements from the bank in that time to wipe a herd of elephants backsides. So trip to the bank check details on record make sure they match 100% ie post code street town number England to the T. You leave it 4 hours on getting home and ring again. Blip 20 mins on the 0844 and once again records don’t tally! Oh and they have taken another £2.50 for doing so. The frustration sets in you get the feeling you are at a fairground throwing hoops over objects that don’t fit. So you sit down and think give it 24 hours to update on records just on the off chance outcome to be reported on.
1/So customer service is sparse they are not in a rush to take your call.
2/This £2.50 charge can add up so be warned.
3/There is a distinct lack of information given and you get the feeling they are not sure either.
Credit wise ours is fine not a blip on that in a 20year mortgage cars bought no defaults on any loan, lived in the same house 16 years banked with the same bank for over 25 years and you wonder what the issue is with this lot.
The cynic in me is saying its because we turned down all the phone protection and said we wouldn’t be taking the gadget line help all on adds up to over £10 per month. Maybe they don’t make a profit on the phones, maybe its on the extras and if you don’t take them its their exit policy it remains to be seen but one thing can be said is its a very frustrating time dealing with this company.
I ordered a phone a couple of months back and had to amend the order, I contacted Buymobiles.net they made arrangements with me or so I thought. Basically I've ended up with two phone contracts, one handset, a £500 bill from O2 & threats that a default will be recorded against my credit history if I do not pay it.
The communication is terrible, they make promises and do not honour them, they do not return calls or answer emails.

A week after placing my order; I find out the phone is not in stock via an email sent TWO minutes after their phone lines close. Bearing in mind I had just been promised by a supervisor no less than an hour previously that they will be processing my order as a priority. Throughout the week I have had different information from different advisors. Lost emails. Lost copies of my ID that I sent. Promised my emails would be looked at within 48 hours..... 72 hours later..... THEY HAVE LOST THE EMAIL. Please don't be fooled by the "helpful" operative posting comments under these poor reviews it's all smoke and mirrors. Believe me!
This is the third time I've purchased a mobile phone through this company and I've always been impressed with the service. They have some great deals on phones and contracts and the bonus is you can choose a free gift, so if you can't afford to buy something outright it's a great way to get the item you want as most people will buy a phone contract anway.
