I have received the christening outfit I bought for my boy. It is beautiful. Before buying I telephoned Cachet kids to make sure they have the item in stock as I was let down by a web-site only company. Cachet kids has a shop in Ashford but unfortunately it is a bit too far for me to go there. The lady answered the phone was really helpful and gave useful advices about the sizing. I chosed Special Delivery and received the outfit the next day!!!
Having had some bad experience buying from online only shops which I could not feel the quality of the clothes before buying and that some online only shops simply did not have any customer services, I got fed up with buying online and resorted to the old fashion way of buying my boy's christening outfit from a real shop.
Luckily I found out that I live quite close to Cachet Kids' Ashford shop so I just took my boy and my 3 years old girl there to get his christening outfit.
It took less than an hour and I got everything from a christening romper to christening shoes, socks and shawl. I even got a christening picture frame, another outfit to change him into after the christening and a nice dress for my older 3 years old girl for her to attend the christening ceromony.
Everything fit perfectly. That is the good thing about being able to try all the outfits on in a real shop before buying.
The shop got everything to do with christening and the shop keeper was really helpful. She took a look at my boy, who is 4 months old but quite big and suggested I try the 6-9 months outfit and it fitted him perfectly.
The best thing is that I got all the things I mentioned for way less than £100 and I can park my car right outside the shop. I took home everything I bought. No need to stay in to wait for the postman!

On or about November 23rd 2011 I purchased from this establishment two beautiful dresses, intended as Christmas gifts.
Upon arrival I noticed that unfortunately the dresses were defected in so far as parts of the fine detailing appeared missing upon one of the dresses, and the zipper faulty upon the other.
Via the internal system, I contacted the company in this regard. Received a confirmation email wherein it was advised that my enquiry would be dealt with within three days.
Three days passed and I had heard absolutely nothing. A second, third and fourth application of the same followed thereafter, alas all went without reply.
Resultant of which, I addressed a written submission for the attention of director Mrs. Helena Wong, copies of which were mailed to the Middlesex store location, and the head office address provided.
Utterly embarrassed, and with a response from Cachet Kids noted by absence, I had no choice but to go ahead and give both the dresses as Christmas gifts as intended.
The dresses really are beautiful-it is a shame that the standard of customer service and or care simply does not match up!!
Must do better Cachet Kids!!
A firm is only as good as those who work within it- customer care really is key, and behaviour such as this is simply unacceptable.
