Was sent wrong item--customer service defended product and blamed me

Ordered auto stickers properly, got wrong ones, customer service defended the product, blamed me, the customer, and did not offer an exchange or refund. Very disappointing. Cafe Press just lost a significant future business order because of their handling of my personal order.

Expected more for the cost.

With shipping, spent $29.95 for a phone case. I purchased one that was a random design they had readily made, ready to ship. Meaning,I didn't customize it. So anyhow, for the$24.95 that the case cost, I was sure if get way better quality of an item. Not! I got the cool, but simple design on the back, that was cool, but the case itself is not a complete shell, meaning it didn't cover the entire diameter of the back and sides. Only partially, and not rubber shock absorbing lining. I tell you, I've bought cases similar to this, with more to offer for as little $4 retail. I'd I had known exactly how cheaply the case was made, I would have thought twice!

Poor Service

I purchased an item from Cafe Press, the glitter yoga mat. It is not shiny nor glitter infested as the picture would imply. In fact, the mat I received is very dull. In addition, I received a tacky, thin, poorly made burnt orange colored bag that was ripped upon arrival in which my yoga mat was placed within. I am disappointed in this purchase as I paid quite a bit of money for this particular item to receive this product. In addition, I have attempted multiple times to contact Cafepress, but their "contact" page has not been running or able to load on several computers I have attempted for over a week. AWFUL!

Poor quality items! Lettering cracked and peeling off after one wash!

I paid $17.50 plus shipping for one pair of boy briefs with lettering. After just one wash in cold water, the lettering is cracked and peeling off. I contacted Cafepress and they will not refund due to their strick 30 day return policy. Only a shady company would offer only a 30 day return policy on products purchased through the mail.

Absolutely fantastic!

Have used these guys many times, and have had absolutely nothing but praise for them. I have recently ordered t-shirts in the wrong size, and also got a mug with a hairline crack along the bottom, causing it to leak droplets of water, but within 30mins of emailing, I received a response. They even sent out a replacement mug and told me to the keep the old one, and also the same for one of the t-shirts I had bought - that's £17 they saved me, and for absolutely no need, I would have happily returned it.
Amazing, will recommend!

Can't even make the order!

Spent ages choosing the merchandise I wanted and it won't even let me change the country to UK from USA despite it being a .co.uk site... I even tried going via Paypal, but it still will only allow me to have 'United States' as the location, and so changes the delivery rate too. Good looking products but incredibly poor website process.

Nothing real long, (ha...well-lol) but I do feel I need to say how satisfied with your company that I am....and have been. I have ordered a few times & always loved everything I've ordered from you guys. And I get the merchandise so fast. Also, the notification via email on status of orders are very satisfying!!! I just recently placed another order from y'all. As always, it was received promptly. But this time, one of the items was broken when I received it. (the handle on a mug). I was upset....because I love having coffee every morning with "Castle" and friends. :-) I've got OCD....Obsessive Castle Disorder. (ha, that's another item I ordered a while back). Anyway, I called the number on the invoice, spoke with a sweet lady named JoAnn and she made it SO SIMPLE for me. I love simple!!! She requested a replacement mug to be sent to me. I received it, I bet like maybe 2 days later. Something like that. She was so helpful, and I didn't have to worry with doing anything. She also sent me a little email saying how she enjoyed helping me that day. Really??? That's so very sweet of her. Well,...I enjoyed speaking to her as well, because she was so helpful & friendly. It was so great!!! And very much appreaciated. You guys keep up the good work. And I'll continue to wear and use what I order from y'all and spread great rumors about your company and how satisfied I ALWAYS AM with everything I order. Thanks so much. J. Winstead.

Horrible quality. Too expensive

I ordered a cancer survivor shirt for my son who just completed over three years of treatment. I loved the design I found on Cafe Press. The shirt was $25, but I wanted something unique for his survivor party, which is why I went to Cafe Press. The shirt is a basic Hanes t-shirt you could buy for $3 at Michael's. We have washed it maybe 6-7 times in the three months we have had it and the screen printing is crumbling off. I emailed customer service with a photo to ask for a replacement. They said they have a 30 day return policy and there is nothing they can do. I pointed out that the quality should be better and felt a replacement was not unreasonable. The next email said, "sorry, but I can give you a partial reduction on shipping on your next order." Um, no thanks. Why would I spend on another overpriced item where this company will not stand behind their quality? I won't ever order from them again.

CafePress has so many quality products that my head is swimming trying to make a choice of just one for the item that that I wanted. I will be returning here frequently !!

I am so impressed with the selection and the quality of the items. I cannot believe that this is my first time discovering your site. I was looking for a shower curtain for a guest bathroom in a home that I am re modelling. The selection is so fantastic I simply cannot choose just one. I have fallen in love with at least 3........what to do. When I saw the sale hours ticking away I was worried so I called customer service and they were so friendly. You can be sure I will be a frequent customer.

Amazing water bottles

Ordered a set of 20 customized water bottles for my child's classroom. The colors were vibrant and we've washed ours several times now and still looks like new. Fast delivery and great customer service. Highly recommend!

Awesome customer service!

I had a very easy time ordering online initially. I received my order on time and was very pleased. I did have one concern about a shirt not matching the rest and every time I have called with questions, they have been extremely helpful and worked with me to find a new product that would satisfy me. JoAnn was friendly, understanding and patient with me as I picked a new product and they are going to send it out to me quickly, no questions asked! Thank you so much for making this process quick, simple and enjoyable!

Don't use this site

I paid £6 for postage just for a T shirt and it took more than a week to arrive. The site never said it would take a long time and for that much postage you expect a pretty quick delivery. Then for £26 I expect a good T shirt, not some cheap thing that looked like it cost 50p to make. Not only that but it has to be cold washed inside out. That's ridiculous and they forgot to mention it on the site. So how long before I forget that and it gets ruined. I would have sent it back except for the hassle and cost of sending it all the way back to where it came from. I will go back to Amazon in the future.

If your order is ever cancelled don't expect a refund in this lifetime!

I ordered (or attempted to order) two canvas bags from Cafepress for my wedding. I paid via PayPal, my order was processed and the money taken out of my account immediately. The next morning I got an email from Cafepress saying that my order had been cancelled and my money refunded. PayPal hasn't received the refund so I called Cafepress only to be informed that refunds can take as long as 30 days, yes an entire month! Seriously this is the end in a long line of bad experiences with them!

PS- if they cared about their customers they could send the design back to me so I could change the offending part (I put an image that while it is open access violates their policy), but no it was just easier to unilaterally cancel an order and lose a customer forever. Glad their business is doing so well that they can afford to lose customers without caring!

poor quality

I have ordered some very cool coasters and placemats... paying over £120 for 6 of each and shipping.. .coasters arrived today, with very bad quality, from the print (heads cut of on coaster) to the quality, not covering the coaster with lines left on the site... worse the placemat s were not with it... apparently send separately which it says on the receipts, however on the order email from them and tracking from them, it says that all was shipped together..... so I await with breath if I get the placemats and if they are as bad quality as the coasters... I should have read the reviews before, my mistake, as I would never have used them nor will I ever use them again..... lets see how they act towards my complaint email I send to them, and I will most likely return the coasters ( and placemats if they arrive).... if I get my money back, which from the reviews on this site is not likely ...
So only advice I can give DO NOT USE THEM

Poor quality screen prints and awful customer service!!

I ordered a T-shirt for my boyfriend for his birthday. I paid 13.00 shipping to ensure it would arrive in time. I received my order 2 days after ordering. I opened to inspect and found 4 dark hard spots at the base of T-shirt. I took photos and emailed to customer service(there is no phone number on the site). I received a quick response to reply to the email with order #, product #, size and color to exchange. I did as instructed. That was 8 days ago and I have not received any further correspondence from the company. I also have not received an undamaged replacement. I am very disappointed!! This was a gift and the birthday it was for has since now past. Not only did I waste 37.99, I then had to spend more money to purchase a new gift on short notice. I will never do business with this company ever again. I would also suggest to anyone else to stear clear of this company
