Ordered camera on 1st September, told it was in stock although out of stock on website. Waited until 6th September, then told out of stock, so cancelled. Phoned on 7th September to confirm cancellation.......not cancelled. What do you do??? I phoned, I emailed, but no reply. I have put it in the hands of Paypal but see others have done same to no avail. This will put you off internet shopping for good......It has me.
Called at 10:30am to check stock position on Canon 550D kit. 12 in stock. Warned that as a new customer, and due to the amount, additional security checks may be necessary. Ordered via web site and received a call later to confirm some details and all went through well, and the camera arrived at 09:00am the following day well packaged and the box in pristine condition. Customer service was excellent. Three phone calls (one at lunch time) were answered immediately. What more could I ask???
2 and a half weeks after ordering a camera and I'm still waiting. I received an email 11 days ago telling me I would receive it in 2-4 days but no sign of it yet. I called twice at the end of last week and received a very unhelpful response over the phone. The company have not responded to my request for a refund so I have opened a dispute with Paypal (who I used to pay for the camera). I would definitely not use Camerabox again.
Had the most professional service from a professional company. couldn't fault them, next day service, always updated with emails and an amazing product at the end of it. ordered a 5 pm on the Tuesday thinking I might have left it to later but to my surprise 10 am the following day their it was. Brilliant.

After searching around for a competitive price I was happy with what I found.
The home page advertises order before 6 today and receive your camera tomorrow, I was initially optimistic about this claim and expected the standard 3-5 working days as suggested at checkout. (which makes no sense in reflection to the offer on the home page)
It has now been 12 days and I am still waiting, after sending my second email to find out where my camera is I am told it is out of stock and expected delivery is in another week... payment has already left my account, and I question why the order went through initially if it was out of stock.
I bought this camera in time for a holiday which will now not arrive in time! I have been more than disappointed with the service and am now left feeling frustrated and aggravated that I will not have my camera in time along with taking the entire buzz out of buying it in the first place! :(
Having been badly let down by another company - I needed to get hold of a half decent spec dslr at Extremely short notice. So I did some research online and found one on Camerabox which had good spec and at a great price.
I placed the order on Express delivery, and waited in all of the following day. Unfortunately the parcel didn't arrive :( So I called Camerabox. They explained that there had been a problem with the courier and that they would call me back. They also refunded the 6.99 I paid for next day delivery.
They called me first thing the follwoing day with lots of apologies, and some good news, luckily the courier had managed to locate the parcel and it would be with me that day.
Which it did.
I'm Extremely happy now! So glad to have my camera in time for my holiday...
Product (a SONY NEX5) excellent, excellent value and exactly as described. Delivered first thing today, having ordered last night (express delivery), so extremely pleased. Only tiny quibble: The track order system on the website didn't work. But only a small niggle - overall, excellent indeed, would wholeheartedly recommend and most definitely use again.
I placed an order on the 17th for a Samsung WB600 Black, all went through ok. However, I received a call yesterday from Camerabox stating I had ordered an out of stock product, but they could offer me the grey coloured one on free of charge next day delivery. So I accepted the offer, and to my delight I received the camera thismorning!
That's what I call great customer care!! Very impressed!!
I must admit to have been worried about not hearing anything about the dispatch of my order and it took them 24 hours to respond to my email.
Received the product 6 working days after ordering.
They advised me the product had been despatched - on the day I received it.
My worries disappeared when I received goods though, they were all as described, and I have just claimed my £30 cashback from Canon too :)
Prices are very good and you get what you pay for.
I can only recommend Camerabox. Order before 6pm and receive next day, I can vouch is a true remark. I even tested it to the limit by ordering at 17:55 and still received the following day. Admittedly it cost me £7 to have it next day, but it was worth while paying it.

I ordered a camera + lenses from Camerabox, on the free delivery option advertised as 2-4 days delivery. I was given the opportunity to pay extra for faster delivery, but I'm not a fan of paying for delivery, especially when spending quite a large sum.
I like their website it is extremely easy and fast to use. Which I personally think is a good (my wife would say otherwise) but to be fair this is probably a bit worrying for the not so careful buyers out there. As before you know it you can see a rather scary sum of money in your basket waiting to be paid for. Paying is also very easy, especially if you have a Paypal account.
When it came to the delivery time, I must say I was slightly disappointed. The parcel didn't arrive until the 6th working day, which is a shame, because that is the only reason I didn't award them the full five stars. Every other part of the service was spot on. The website is great probably the best I've come across, the payment process is as easy as 123, the information I was given was accurate up to est delivery time, the delivery to be honest was slightly slower than I was expecting, and the products were as described and well packaged.
To conclude: My experience (apart from delivery) was really very good, and I definitely would not hesitate about using them again.

I placed my order with Camerabox after getting a lot of recommendations from my father (who is a keen wildlife photograher) that purchases a lot of equipment from this particular retailer.
The reason I needed a camera was due to last minute deal holiday (leaving tomorrow!) I got extremely cheap. I thought to myself I don't have a camera (I broke it last holiday.. oops). After speaking to my dad, and doing a lot of internet research I found the best deal. And it was with Camerabox. So I placed my order right there and then,
5 minutes later, I got confirmation from them. Showing me what I had ordered and when I should expect to receive it.
11am ish this morning, I had a knock at the door and there stood in front of me was a courier man with my camera. Packaging wasn't great, but camera was in perfect condition.

I ordered last Monday on the free delivery option, which is advertised as a 2-4 day delivery. So I was hoping to have my camera by bank holiday Friday, which unfortunately didn't happen :(
BUT!! I have received the camera today, and I am very happy with my new purchase, fingers crossed I can get some shots of the happy couple this Friday!!!!
Delivery was 3 days late, when i paid for next day delivery. Staff were helpful though, they refunded the money I paid for express delivery. Disappointing, but luckily I didn't need it for an event or anything in particular. It's a bit of a shame though as products and price really good!
I am one of those people who like to research before buying...and I had read reviews of Camerabox which were less than complimentary...but the Camera I wanted was offered online by them at an extremely good price, with free delivery.
Buying online ordering was a doddle. The site was easy to use.
Almost immediately, I received all the relevant confirmations by email...and the day before the camera was booked to be delivered I received a phone call from customer services to confirm and check all the details.
The delivery was on time, it was all very efficient.
I have not had to deal with customer services as the camera is working well...and will hopefully continue to do so.
Would I recommend them?
Yes I would - their service was exactly what they said it would be. They say their standard delivery is 2-4 days and it was (allowing for a little glitch with the carrier). The goods were well packed and good quality. Their prices are excellent and they do price match - they update prices regularly. I do accept it happens in this type of industry, and you can wait forever expecting a better deal but just bear in mind if that happens it you could lose out, however if they put the price up the day after you have placed your order you will be a winner.
I will certainly use them again for similar purchases. I have read some negative reviews about the company but I judge as I find and my experience was good.
I used these guys, because my son recommended them. He uses them quite frequently through his business, and speaks very highly of them.
The website is very nicely designed, although one thing I did notice, is that the search has to be spot on for it work. For example, if I typed in Canon SX30, the website came back with no results, but if I typed in Canon Powershot SX30 it came up with the result I was after. (If you're reading this Camerabox just a quick note to your IT team ;)
The recommended bundles are brilliant! From what I noticed the bundles seem to differ by size of memory, with the more expensive bundles coming with an additional battery. Easily noticeable by the pictures. ( I went for a 16GB and Case with my camera)
After adding the bundle to the basket you're given the option to go for either express delivery or saver delivery. I placed the order on friday and chose the express delivery for before 12 on Saturday. It was expensive, but when I set my mind on getting something, whether it be a camera or a car, I have to get it asap!
So after spending 10 minutes selecting what I wanted and paying for it. I had my order placed! Fantastic!! 2 minutes later, I received confirmation. Later in the afternoon I had a call from a gentleman at Camerabox, just confirming they had the correct address for the Express Saturday delivery, nice touch I thought. Made me feel very valued, and assured the delivery would arrive on time.
Saturday morning, the camera arrived!! Not too early either (which I was glad about) I did not want to get woken up at the crack of dawn! The camera is all as described, and the accessories are really good quality given the prices!
As this company came recommended to me, I feel I should at least do the same. So two thumbs up to this company (should I need to purchase anything (photographic) again , I will know exactly where to go.) Highly Recommended.
Was having a hard time making up my mind choosing where to get my next camera from, given the horrendous reviews of the cheapest sites on the web. Finally chose Camerabox.co.uk given their pretty good feedback - Plus they had the cheapest price I could find, with a 5 Year warranty!
Had some concerns about the camera not being a UK version - So I spoke to a representative at Camerabox, who confirmed the products they carry are from the UK or E.U.
So I ordered the camera at 15:00, it was dispatched at 18:00 and arrived at my door at 11:30 the next day (paid for next day delivery). As confirmed the product is from the UK, and the battery is charging as we speak.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this company, and if you are at all unsure about what you're ordering then the call back features are an excellent.
After the order was placed they phoned to us try and sell more equipment. The order was in my wifes name but over the phone they gave me details of the order. So much for data protection. Lucky it was not my birthday present...
The camera we ordered was supposed to be in stock but did not arrive for more than 2 weeks.

The camera was supplied with a foreign charger and a 'heath robinson' UK adapter.

The item arrived within 2 days of placing the order, it was delivered by Royal Mail (suprised it ever made it!)

I placed an order for a Canon EOS 550D DSLR on Friday evening for express delivery, and received it at 8:30am today. When I ordered it on express delivery, I thought I would receive it yesterday to be honest. But after speaking with Camerabox yesterday I was informed, that because I placed my order at 8pm on Friday eve, it was not processed until yesterday. Apart from feeling slightly let down on that. Hi, I found Camerabox.co.uk on google , they worked out the cheapest and said they could deliver within 2-3 days. Which was good for me, as I didn't need the camera until the following week. I used Paypal to pay for the purchase (just in case) as I haven't used this company before. The order went through the website very quickly.
After 2 days the order still hadn't arrived so I decided to give them a call. They informed me it should arrive shortly. So I let the weekend pass and another buisness day pass, and still no camera, so I gave them another call to be informed it will certainly be with me the next day. So waiting thismorning I heard a knock at the door and there it was. camera had arrived, finally! So all in all: arrival late, camera as described. Not too bad,, glad i waited.
The web site is clear. unambiguos. well 'signposted' and easy to navigate and use. Moreover. the range of offerings is excellent and the prices highly competitive - I doubt any propspective customer would fail to find something of interest. especially if they have a clear view/idea of what they're after. Finally. the delivery system/process was very good indeed. Living alone I was not in at the time of delivery but the agent (Citylink I think!) exercised some initiative and common sense and arranged drop off with a neighbour. Very happy I found Camerabox! I used to use Jessops for purchasing all my equipment, but after a bad experience I decided to try a different company. So I searched away online and Camerabox seemed to be the cheapest based in this country.
Using their website was very easy, and I found the lenses I was looking for within seconds, before I knew it I had purchased what I was looking for and it was cheaper too. What was also nice with using their website was that, I didn't get harrased by all the extras, that Jessops try and offer you.
After placing the order, I received an email from Camerabox, confirming what I had purchased. So far so good. But later that day I received a call from Camerabox needing to confirm address details. Which was annoying, but they did it explaing why they needed to check. After confirming the details I was informed the item would be with me in the next 2-4 days.
The next day I received an email from Camerabox confirming the order had been dispatched and that I should receive it shortly. To be honest when it said shortly I didn't expect it to arrive the following morning. Pretty quick considering I didn't have to pay anything for the delivery. Will definitely be using Camerabox again for future purchases.
Really pleased with the service I received. After placing the order, I had a call from Camerabox saying they were having a problem with the order and I had to call back. After finally getting through (seemed a long wait to get through to someone) they informed me I had to confirm a few details before they could proceed. That was fine. I later received an email stating the order had been cleared through and was waiting for dispatch. The following day I received an email stating the order had been picked up by the courier and will be with me within the couple of days. The next day after getting back from work I found a card from the courier saying they had attempted delivery but no one was in so they took it back to the depot. I called the number on the card and luckily they were only 2 miles down the road so I went and picked it up. A bit frustrating I missed the delivery but I was happy enough to drive only 2miles to go collect. Camera is perfect and I am sure my partner is going to love it. Would of rated higher but I had to wait a long time to get through on the phone.

I just thought I would let people know, that my experience with Camerabox was fantastic! I placed my order for a Canon digital SLR on Friday for express delivery, and received it yesterday, to be honest after reading some mixed reviews about Camerabox, I wasn't sure if they would live up to the statements on the website! But my order turned up last night, everything perfect. Recommended to me and I would recommend to others after my experience. I suppose it's like they say you shouldn't believe everything you read in the media..
Extremely happy with your advice and service I received. I called on Monday of this week, for advice before placing an order for a digital slr. I wasn't sure which to go for out of the Nikon D90 slr or the Canon eos 550d, after a long and helpful conversation with a sales advisor at camerabox. I decided to go for a canon eos 550d. So I placed my order over the website on free delivery, for a canon eos 550d bundle which included a memory card and case. After a few minutes I received an email from camerabox with my invoice attached. 24 hours later I received an email confirming the dispatch. Another 24 hours later I received my parcel :) To be honest, I do not think you can get much better than that hey?

The website was bright and easy to negotiate. I found what I wanted (a Nikon D3100) very easily, and ordered one, along with a 16gb card and a carrying case, with extreme ease.
The articles for sale are able to be purchased singly or included in pre-chosen bundles. I am not sure whether you can order "odd" things separately, but I found a bundle that suited me very quickly.
The payment method was painless, via my Electron card. I opted for the "super saver" option, as the delivery price was free :) Figured I may as well sit on my bum and wait for delivery, as I am indoors most of the time anyway (and its too cold to go out, LOL).
The Camerabox website states that delivery is normally within 2-4 days, but as I was ordering it on the weekend, I did not expect that it would arrive until Tue/Wed.
What I did receive was a very polite phone call on Monday morning, checking on some aspect of confirmation of my delivery address. Once this was done, shortly afterwards, I received a confirmation email that the goods were being despatched, when to expect them, and details of how to track the item (should I need to).
The goods arrived on the Wednesday were as described, and I got manuals in English as well as French, and all the accompanying paperwork.
A simple transaction, and very smooth indeed.
I ordered a Canon 60D twin lens kit from Camerabox and I was pleased with the service, I could not give them a higher rating as my item was late as the ever reliable courier company lost my item, not their fault sure but I was made to wait, apart from that a good service and reliable company. Will order again.
Before I ordered I emailed to question whether the item was coming from the UK and received a positive response within a few hours from a named customer services person. I ordered two expensive lenses and was advised that they would ship within a couple of days. I then received e-mails from a named customer service representative telling me that they had shipped and providing me with tracking numbers. The items arrived on time. They were in excellent condition and the prices I paid were the best I could find on the web. I have since received a thank you from the company for telling them about the arrival time and a thank you for purchasing. I will certainly buy again from this organisation.
Due to a late decision on a Bithday present, I ordered a Canon Camera (at a very good discount also!) at about 9.00pm on 5th March with free standard delivery, not expecting it to arrive until a few days later. I was however extremely pleased and surprised to see it delivered at about 9.00am on 7th March.
I have used Camerabox several times before with no problems, but this time they excelled!
I have been looking around for the Panasonic SD700 for quite a few months now and wasn't 100% sure if there were too many advantages to the upgrade so I decided to call the team to find out, they were very helpful and eventually I decided to go for it and upgrade to the SD800 and I do not think I could have possibly been happier, it is a real shame that I could not give a 5 star review but the item was a day late, all in all a good experience, thank you Camerabox.
