Ordered a caravan cover but had a slight mix up with the size required, Company couldn't be more helpful in getting this sorted courier collected item next day and I received the right cover by the end of the week. Highly recommend.
The item i bought doesnt do the job that this company said it does. They refused to refund my postage.
You can get a refund on the item but you have to pay the postage?. under the distance selling act, if an item is 'not as described' and the seller does not refund all postage then the law says theyre acting illegally
Ive also had the obnoxious attitude, phone put down and cant see how they are still in business.
I am not going into detail of the case at the moment or even replying to their reply as I have enough proof of my side. I will let you all make your own mind up.
We now have a court date so will update you all after that.
one hour after my post [name] called me and agreed to complete refund. This website works brilliantly.
He insists he collects goods then sends me a cheque. My reply was sorry my trust in your company is not good so send me the cheque and when its cleared i will contact you so you can arrange collection and i will stop court action. After a couple of emails back and forward the stubborn side comes back out and looks like we might end up in court in the end.

we as a retailer with a very high feedback rate have a lot more to lose than you also when I say high feedback rate look at the trustpilot feed back score and look at the link for ebay under trustpilot feedback review rate on the right also Trustpilot is a waste of time where a very few people give reviews and with out you knowing the reason behind them you can really comment. if you want more proof of our success look on our amazon site as well we send around 60,000 packages out a year and a feed back is very high
as a retailer no retailer in the country will refund with out inspecting or reciving goods first as I said I have more to lose than you so please stop messing us around again let us pick up the toilet we get it back and please note it must be in original box and condition and unused and cheque will be in the post and only then when you have received this you close the case against us there is no other way than this we have made this offer to clear this matter up and this letter and others emails will be presented to the court if we end up going there if we do bring the toilet with you

Ordered three items and received an email two days after order changing status of order to "shipped" and payment was taken from my account. A week later, no parcel had arrived so tried to contact by email on website form. This consistently gave an error message although it appears the email may have been sent. Also sent message via facebook site. I then had a short reply saying they thought they'd emailed to say one part of the order was out of stock but gave no indication of when it might arrive meaning I had to email again to ask. In the end, after a number of short and not terribly professional messages from the company, they shipped two parts of the order and refunded the third. If we had known there would be such a delay, we might have ordered from elsewhere as the postage is a large proportion of the cost hence ordering items together - I am disappointed that the first part of the order wasn't shipped immediately and the out of stock item sent on when it was in stock in a few weeks time. Finally, payment should only be taken when the order is sent not immediately it is received. All in all, a disappointing experience and we are still without one of the items we ordered.
My order for two tubes of paste wax for treating walking boots was only part delivered, but I was billed in full, upon receipt only one tube was in the package. I contacted camping on line and received a reply the same day (Friday) assuring me that there was possibly an issue in the packing department. No further communication from them, and thus far the missing item has yet to arrive. I will give it until Monday before lodging a dispute with Paypal. Needless to say I'm not impressed with the company or it's service, nobody likes to feel ripped off.
Cover arrived promptly and was well packaged. Did not have to pay postage as spent over £150, and both items arrived at the same time. Have not put cover on motorhome yet as away, but will do this at weekend and will be able to judge quality then and may go to 5 stars. Very satisfied with service so far.
Bought Aquaroll mains extension, £24.99. I got a whale cheaper version.
Emailed refund and to send back and a full refund plus return postage would be refunded, £3.30.
Got the £24.99 back but no £3.30. Emailed the manager several times, he ignored my request. Called + left messages,no response. Finally spoke with him. He was rude and kept repeating his answer over and over. He then put the phone down. Appalling behaviour!
Having posted this review the manager sent me his reply via email and his reply to me was ,"what a complete w word!
What customer service and again showing his rude self. I have kept the email and will be reporting to the authorities as I find it threatening.
My partner bought a table from them less than a week ago; it was badged as having a 10 year guarantee but on arrival was clearly a cheap copy of a better model; mis-rivetted so that it won't even open up. The very angry managing director of the company put the phone down on me and has sent a coarse string of emails. They operate through Amazon which is a shame for Amazon. Will we get our money back ? yes, but I expect that we will have to badger them for it, but I'm straight off to Derbyshire Trading Standards, Amazon and their bank. What role the company secretary plays in all this I don't know but she is a director as well....
Update: I am pleased to say that Amazon have refunded us in full. In the meantime Camping Online have NOT collected the table that I originally ordered leaving me to dispose of the useless junk. Furthermore the MD is now lying on reviews to say that he never spoke to me, a matter which is entirely false; he did speak to me, shouted at me and put the phone down on me. He has followed it up with abusive comments on this site. He clearly has no concept of his obligations as a trader and I would strongly advise against buying from them. There is a clear pattern on the reviews of his unhappy customers via Amazon that, contrary to the legal obligation under the Distance Selling Regulations, the Sale of Goods Act and other consumer protection legislation he makes a habit of refusing to pay for return postage.
Bought 5 strip lights via ebay, the photo showed 2 tubes inside the lights, the description referred to "tubes" plural, therefore its acceptable and perfectly reasonable for me to rely on the phot & description - which I duly did.
I received 5x strip lights with only one light in each one, not what was ordered.
I telephoned the company to let them know of their mistake, only to be very rudely told to "get a life, go to B&Q and buy another light" and was then told to "go forth & multiply" (only not quite so politely) and the phone was put down on me!
How rude? What level of customer service could this be possibly described as?
The matter has been reported to eBay who are passing the matter onto their security team and also to Derbyshire Trading Standards.
Would I buy from or recommend this company to anyone else, not a chance!
Follow Up: Following factual feedback left for this company on the website on which it trades I have received several abusive emails. Perhaps the owner of the company has never heard of the offence of "sending a malicious Communication". I've then received an email telling me I need to amend this review, clearly a complaint was received pointing at a minor technicality (the owners language directed at me and duly accurately reported on here). Whilst the owner of the company appears quite ready to spout abuse at people, he clearly doesnt like it when people report the facts of the matter for all to see, accurately & truthfully. Maybe he wont be quite so quick in future to treat people in the manner in which he treated me, but then maybe I'll win the lottery this week!
Further Follow Up: The owner of the company continues to object to factual feedback left for his company. I have therefore made my own objections to the manner in which this chap continues to have the factual feedback left by many about his company removed for no reason.
Can't believe you have appealed against all negative feed back. What's the point of having a review centre if people cannot voice there opinions good or bad. My experience with your company was awful and I was clearly sent damaged second hand goods and had to return at my own cost and then you chose to ignore all my communication. Maybe you should re-think your customer service and then people would not leave negative feedback
I made a purchase of Bubba Keg thermal mugs among other items. they were hopeless and did not keep drinks hot in any way. I rang to discuss this with them and the man I spoke to was rude and said it was not his problem and was not prepared to do anything about it. I will never use or recommend this company!
