My delivery was delayed because an item was not in stock- fair enough. When ready for dispatch they asked what day I would like it delivering on (very good). When delivered only one item was delivered- the item that had not been in stock. The other items were not dispatched, they were still in London. So a day off work wasted.
I complained. They agreed to deliver on a Saturday at no extra charge. I checked on the Friday that the item was going to be delivered on the Saturday. They assured me it was. Come Saturday, no Tracking advice from the courier, so I call the Courier. Apparently Capital Gardens had given the Couriers clear instructions to deliver on the Monday. Apalling. So I have to take another day off work. It would have been quicker and cheaper to drive to London and collect the items in person.
I would never order anything from them again.
I placed an order with capitalgardens late March - to be exact March 29 - and I received it today May 30. Delivery took more than one month - I know it should be shipped to DK,but one month to cross the sea????
And the money was raised from my account two days after I placed the order!!!!
After one week I contacted Capitalgardens as my order was still in picking/packing mode according to their own website - I was told they had some problem with a fork lift and was a little behind - after 1 more week i contacted Capitalgardens again as the status hasn't changed, they would check why my order wasn't shipped yet - after 1 more week - I was informed by Capitalgardens that there would be a additional freight cost - if I accepted the extra freight cost they would ship my order. I accepted and the order was delivered today.
I shop a lot in the UK - but I have never before experienced delivery time of more than one month.
Prices are great - but they have to do something about the delivery time outside UK.
