After ordering a sub, I was sent a used one without fittings, wires or paperwork. Upon contacting them a replacement was to be sent out. A week later, nothing. They couldn't be bothered to contact me despite promises of it being available within 3 days. Even after complaining via their website I'm yet to receive a call from them rather than me initiating contact. Don't waste your time, use a proper business.
The subwoofer i ordered was out of stock so i was offered a free upgrade to a better speaker at no extra cost to me. Great communication from them and quick delivery as well. I'll certainly be using them again for anything Car Audio related.
That's 2 times out of 2 that I've ordered reasonably priced items from Car Audio Centre only to receive an email asking me to call up due to a problem with my order, and on both occasions to be told that there was an "error" over stock and they don't in fact have the item I purchased in stock. And on both occasions I have been offered supposedly more valuable items at the same price instead. However, these alternatives are actually always their in-house brands Juice, In-Phase or DB Audio. On no occasion were they able to offer me a decent known-brand alternative for the price, leading me to conclude that advertising other manufacturers' products at good prices is in fact a 'scam' to attract customers they can then peddle an inferior alternative to, under the guise that they're offering a more expensive product instead. Sneaky.
didn't have head unit i ordered so offered discounted price on later model but i still had to pay for next day delivery even though i received it 8 days after i put in the original order and then 4 days after i spoke to someone about the later model
I waited a week for an item which turned out to be out of stock. I only found this out when I contacted car audio centre,because they had not brothered to. When I did call a member of car audio centre, they were polite however there was no apology and I was offered something that was a hundred pounds more expensive than what I had oringally ordered.
I eventually choose a item fifty five pounds more and when it did finally arrive and was fitted it was found to be faulty.
Currently I am now sorting out a returns procedure with car audio returns which I might add is very confusing, and at this stage I am unsure whether I may receive a refund and this is rather hard as car audio returns runs on a automated service only when I could really do with talking to someone! (Wish I had never bought the radio in the first place)!
I ordered my product - they then sent a message saying sony have sent it to them not in the boxes and not branded which made me very wary of this company. I still have not received it and sent several emails with not one response. I am starting to wonder if I will ever get it. I wish I had stuck with amazon rather than risking these jokers for one pound saving.
I ordered the product on the 28th March and still haven't got it. Had to call the firm to find out why last week and they gave me details of tracking number and was told to deal with UK Mail directly. I have called three times and on each occasion assured that it is out for delivery but never receive it. Ultimately Caraudio have to take responsibility for delivery.
Found a great deal on a car stereo and placed the order when it said there were 5 in stock. I received an order confirmation email straight away shortly followed by an email saying it was despatched including a tracking number. I tried the tracking number the following day and it came back with 'no information found'. I assumed it hadn't gone through the postage system yet so left it at that. The following day I received an email saying there was a problem with my order and I had to call them. The man on the phone told me they were out of stock and discontinued so wouldn't be getting any more in. I was forced to cancel the order as they had no similar items at a similar price. He told me I would receive confirmation and money returned straight away. 3 days later, I still hadn't received my money back so had to call them again. Finally my money was returned so I could look elsewhere to purchase one. Caused me quite a lot of hassle.
I ordered my stereo on Saturday and it arrived promptly Tuesday... They were also very helpful when I needed to call them with some compatibility queries.... I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for an audio upgrade...... 5 Stars.
Car Audio Centre went out of their way to help me placing my order, they also used all methods available to contact me with regards to my order. The products are very well priced and the knowledge and service was second to none...
Will definitely be shopping with them again when I require similar products.
