I placed an order (C26760), it was paid with a credit card, with detailed shipping information. I spoke to an operator but after a few days the order was canceled without any explanation. My conclusion: To Avoid in future
Had a very pleasant experience and was also impressed with their willingness to advise with after-sales service. Products are fantastic, prices awesome, delivery immediate. Now I've kitted out half my car through them I look forward to finishing the job off with them.
Although the speakers I ordered weren't in stock, I was sent amazing sounding Kenwood speakers instead of the pioneer 6x9's. The problem with the order was solved very quickly over the phone by changing to slightly better and slightly more pricey speakers, letting me off the extra money. Dispatched soon after the phone call and arrived the following week, extremely pleased with the service and speakers.
Taking advantage of the free delivery it was a pleasant surprise when the car radio arrived just 2 days after ordering. The hi spec of the product (InPhase S249BT) at such a low price made the deal terrific value. The sound quality made an immediate impression - so much better than the radio it replaced. Streaming music from a tablet was straightforward; it will be a while before I've tried out all its other features. No problem to recommend Car Audio Centre.
Got a sub and amp off these guys, they didn't have the amp i ordered in stock as it had been discontinued but they sorted me out with a better one than i originally ordered for the same price and it all came within a few days. Highly recommended
company seem good and price, product and delivery good. I was disappointed with sales assistant. I wanted some advice about the product I was looking at. He said he didn't know much about it and didn't really want to find out, didn't care either and was happy for me to have to get off the phone and research it myself. If it wasn't for him I would have given 5 stars.
I was not really sure what I needed from an upgrade to my standard in car install. Whilst I knew that the speakers were shot, I hadnt thought much about the rest of the installation. Given the age and type of car (noisy convertible) I got some helpful advice that gave me a quality set of components at a sensible price that will do what I need and not require major alterations.
Really glad i spoke to someone rathe than blindly ordering random components online!
Excellent service from the car audio centre, I recently purchased a car radio from them it was quickly despatched and I phoned them up for advice about how to set up radio stations to the pre-sets they where very helpful, I would recommend them to do business with.
I made an order (C25430). I have received an e-mail with a problem with it. It's impossible for me to contact you and solve the problem. I tried to send an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org The answer is "Your message To: Gary Digva was deleted without being read" I tried to send an e-mail at email@example.com I received this: "Error Type: SMTP Connection to recipients server failed" I tried with your Questions/Answers box I received this answer: "To sort this out you need to call our call centre 08456007160 and they will sort this out for you" I can't made an international call during job Sorry, but is not a positive experience
Not fitted as yet, though everything required (cage, extraction tool, aerial etc) is included in the box along with full instructions on how to proceed. The price is better than anywhere else I have seen and they even have supplied pre-wired connectors for the fitting process (if required). Looks good, was delivered free of charge and when expected and was well wrapped.
1. Only available telephone number is an 0845 number. This is hugely expensive from a mobile and of no help to the customer at all! What's wrong with a normal landline number? 2. When there is an issue with the order the customer has to phone the company after receiving an email. This should be the other way round, the company should phone them. 3. A chronological of events on an order is not kept. I.e. this email was exchanged, then this phone call, etc. Hence order ended up getting canceled when my latest instruction was to keep waiting (item was on backorder)
