After placing my order the unit turned up reasonably quick. However after opening it was obvious that the unit was used. After contacting them and convincing them via photos that it was indeed a used unit they agreed to replace in place of the return. It's been two weeks now and I still have not got my replacement item. They told me Monday that it was in the post and would be with me in 2 to 3 days. Why should I have have to chase all the time as it was their error and they should have done everything possible to resolve as quickly as possible. Totally dissatisfied with their service especially the after sales team! !!
I placed an online order for an item and paid immediately. The item did display that stock was available and I received an email confirming that my order was being processed. However 6 days later and the item had not arrived and the order status was still displaying processing. I contacted Car Audio Centre and my call was answered straight away. I gave them my order number and they found that the item was infact out of stock but was due in the next day. They apologised for the error and advised I would receive my product within 2 days. 11 days have now passed and still no product. I could have easily purchased this item elsewhere for the same price and i am sure i would have received it by now. I WANT A REFUND TODAY PLEASE SO I CAN ACTUALLY BUY THE PRODUCT ELSEWHERE AND RECEIVE MY ORDER! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
Order placed, initially speakers requested weren't in stock, quick phone call later and replacements sorted, was told would be dispatched that day. 8 days later still no items and order still said 'Processing' on my account section of their website. Another inquiry raised when I was told the head unit was not in stock until later that week. Items then arrived another 4 days later. Good price for items and good initial contact but then no contact to tell of delays or reasons why.
Came to this site to buy a l200 double din binnacle found one in stock so it said paid then waited 5 days and nothing I phoned and was told it would be in and be dispatched on the following Monday ok then on Monday I phoned to make sure it's been sent and no it haven't it's still going to take a further two week but they are still showing as in stock what a waist of space
I have purchased various Audio components over the years and am very impressed with the high standard of service always provided. The email offers are useful and product always arrives in perfect condition.
I ordered a Pioneer Connection kit for the Appradio to connect the phone to the stereo, a few days later and no delivery. Chased on the phone to be told out of stock will despatch asap. Well over a week after that a package turned up with a £2 HDMI lead in it!! Emailed them explaining what had happened asking for a replacement. I received a reply over 3 days later staying apologies wrong item, please register on our returns website and we will exchange. This website has a 75p per minute number on it should you want to call and check status of your return!! I gave them regular email updates to tell them I was sending the item back could they despatch the replacement asap. A week later when the item has been returned they just credit my account rather than replacing with the correct item as they promised.
I was looking for a good quality car stereo for my daughters car and they made it easy and trouble free. They also answered all my questions before the purchase quickly and clearly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
I ordered last Sunday, it was supposedly meant to be sent out in the 27th, that's when they took my money. They sent me out an email with tracking in it, the tracking doesn't work. I emailed them explaining it and they replied with the same tracking number!! It's a birthday present for Tuesday and I still don't have it. I am not impressed.
The Car Audio Centre delivered my order as promised and at a competitive price. My only complaint was that even after receiving my order I got several emails telling me that it was still in my inbox and urging me to continue with my purchase. I received no reply to 2 emails sent to them. It is perhaps only a small thing but it would help them if they improved their answering service. Overall, I remain positive and would order from them again. Mike Chappell
Car stereo arrived very quickly and was well priced. I ordered the double din Sony xav-64bt following a conversation with a member of the sales team where I asked two questions, both of which it turned out he answered incorrectly. It does have a remote and the facia does not come off as he stated. Kept the stereo as overall I'm pleased with it, but if I lived in a high crime area it would be getting sent back.
first order i made i had to cancel due to the speakers advertised on their website was no longer in production. (made the order 2 months ago, checked the website today and they are still "selling them on their website"). So i made another order, changed my priorities and bought a high end set of speakers whit amplifiers. After two weeks theer was still not dispatched so i mailed them asking if there was any problem and if the items where in stock, yes the answered and told me they would be sent the following week. after a month when i finally got my order they had sent me another pair of cheaper universal speakers without noticing me (I still had to pay for the high end system). So now i got a oversized amplifier whit a couple universal speakers. I can only imagine due to my experince that they got this as a system of offering one product, saying it´s in stock and then send a low budget product hoping the customer won´t tell the difference or bother arguing. after multiple phone calls and mails i still wont get compensated for their mistakes.
Worst experience ever and i would strongly suggest anyone who´s about to make a order there to keep looking, i´ve seen lots of stores whit lower prices and that actually will send you the product that is payed for.
The car speakers I ordered unfortunately were to deep for my car doors, they were of excellent quality and they agreed to exchange them for a shallower set, so on the whole I am pleased with the company and will use them again, no problems.
i bought allot of audio equipment for my son for Christmas, they helped me select suitable items and necessary fittings without making me feel like a dumbo (even though i am ) the items arrived promptly and well packed, my son was delighted, returns after Christmas were an unneeded option. The b stock juice box was a particular bargain and apart from a small scuff on the outer case perfect.
