In the years I've been a member, the club and its interface with the membership has continually developed, someone somewhere is doing a very good job. It gets better continually and reflects the views of a significant majority of the members; you cant keep every one happy but the club is doing a very good job which deserves recognition.
When we started caravanning we originally avoided joining any of the clubs but we got so many recommendation for the caravan club that we thought we'd try it.
The sites are all well maintained with a lot of though in to how to get the best out of the facilities. The wardens always seem friendly and are keen to be helpful if you have a problem.
If you haven't joined give them a try. The only down side is you need to be quick and book pitches early as the sites tend to be very popular, especially during peak times.
