We've been dealing with Central Contracts for business vehicle contract hire for more than 10 years and we have never had a bad experience. They source the vehicle we want at the price we want to pay - on a recent deal this was lower than that quoted direct by the manufacturer's own leasing arm. Enough said I think.
After working with this company now for 9 years any questions asked they respond straight away, nothing is too much trouble. Any vehicles that we need were found virtually straightaway and delivered promptly. Would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone. First class service again Marc.
I phoned central contracts a couple of weeks ago and spoke to Chris Melville. I was interested in the ford Kuga. after speaking to Chris and he advised me that the delivery of this car would not be straight away. he pointed me in the direction of a New Kia sportage KX3. in which the specification was more then what i wanted and under my budget. to say I was easily sold is an understatement. once I ordered the car I had a number of conversations with the admin team who were most helpful. the car was delivered on time. and I would recommend all my friends to contact central contracts.
The main issue was I asked for my email address to be changed yet I still had to back to my old email despite asking twice for it to be updated, if I hadn't I wouldn't have been kept informed of the lease. Also despite transferring the funds as requested I had to wait a further 3 days to be able to pick the car up. I would think again before I place the next order.
I have used Central Contract, who I found to be quick, with no messing about, Car was sorted out in a matter of days, I was recommended to use another company before this and I did, They sent all the forms and that was it, I had to chase and chase, until I gave up, I was told I wouldn't get the car any cheaper, But I did with Central Contracts and now the person who recommended the other company have already got in contact with central contracts. I would definitely give them ago. What do you have to lose
I would have no hesitation in using Central Contracts again for leasing a vehicle. Any questions I had were dealt with swiftly (and there were many as this was the first time I had leased a car!). Both before and after sales made me feel confident they were doing their utmost to give me what I needed.
Ive just leased a car through Central Contracts and the service I recieved was basically hassle free and very straight forward. The service was first class. If your contemplating leasing a car i would recommend you o give them a call.
Our first transaction with Central Contracts, through Lance was a seamless and stressless exercise, which I would wholeheartedly endorse to others. However it was let down by the delays, and poor communication from the car manufacturers / Suppliers. The estimated days of completion changed 5 times, with the car arriving one day after the latest "delay of another couple of weeks" . If I was to give some constructive criticism, I would have added a couple of accessory packs to the vehicle, had I have known that the "standard" model did not have the extras as advertised (on the manufacturers website), perhaps a little more proactive promotion (of what does and does not come with the car) would have help (as basic as, it doesnt come with mats !)
I was told before placing the order that it would take two weeks from point of acceptance to point of delivery. It took four weeks and when it did finally arrive it wasn't as the sales rep described. I was told before the order was placed that if I purchased the extra 'appearance pack' I would get 17" wheels, needless to say when it arrived it only had 16". When I questioned them about this I was told it was a mistake and they shouldn't of told me that. All very convenient before the order was placed. Also the car arrived filthy dirty and the driver even had the cheek to ask for a lift to the train station. We will not use this company again, we use numerous leasing companies and this one is by far the worst. Very dissapointed.
I'm going to recommend central contracts to everyone, my daughter is already considering getting a car from central contract so Had to wait a while for car to be delivered but once we received it wouldn't go with any other company great service
The process of discussion and ordering was professionally handled by Central Contracts. Once the order is placed the process is then passed on to an associate dealer handling the import and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and the financiers. Unlike some other reviews the dealers kept to their dates (good) once announced, although up to then the car was a bit slow coming compared to expectations for an 'in stock' model. However the PDI inspection was flawed: an 'Engine Malfunction' about 200 miles after delivery turned out to be coolant level too low, following a hunt round various local dealers to connect up their computer. Also there was no tax disk on delivery; apparently this is OK for the first 2 weeks. During the whole process right up to today (16 days after delivery) I have had no communication directly from the finance house, and the only proof of their existence was when money left my account today. It's possible some of this stuff is listed in some FAQ on the website which I missed, if so, I apologise. You do need to read the small print on the Finance contract carefully. I failed to notice until the eleventh hour that the car had to be insured in the leaseholder's name, the car is mainly for my wife to use, so we had to abandon her current insurance policy and start a second policy for me at zero no claims!
I found CC to be best priced in the market and the most helpful throughout. Having had poor and almost rude interaction from other leasing suppliers CC were the complete opposite. They seem to give value for money without cutting corners. Would definitely use them again.
