They do offer cheap tickets but cross your fingers that you do not run into any problem that you have to call them. I was on hold for 45 minutes trying to change my flight. They transferred me back and forth. I ended up booking an entirely different trip with another company.
I called them later regarding a refund request and got transferred 3 times. Then no one was able to give me an answer!!!!
This company is a bunch of thieves! Bought tickets to the Yankees game for my brothers birthday and when the value of the tickets all of a sudden went up they told me my tickets were cancelled and they don't have them anymore. A crooked company, do not buy anything from them. Customer service is awful. They offered me nothing in return just said that's the way is goes. Just because you buy them its not guaranteed.
We missed a flight on our itinerary due to airline issues, which complicated our entire international trip and made us miss our first night in the hotel we booked through CheapTickets. Every time we called ChaptTickets we were on hold for at least 45 minutes, some times we were hung up on due to transfer of calls and even after we explained to a manager that we cannot keep calling on international rates to resolve our issue and the manager promised us e-mail correspondence - we still had to call them internationally because CheapTickets did not respond to our e-mails and a pending issue had to be resolved. So we spent at least 4 hours from our international trip on the phone and the issue STILL wasn't resolved because the customer service reps we spoke with didn't know how to assist us. Then when we got back in the states and called to request a refund for the missed hotel night - the manager was unacceptably rude and suggested next time we call we call during off-peak hours. Well excuse me, CheapTickets, you are not suggesting we wake up in the middle of the night to call you, do you? Because we have called at 11pm, we have called at 7 am...and STILL - we wait for at least 45 minutes until we even speak with a real person! Unacceptable....very disappointed with the customer service.

Our customer service rep was named "Bruce" and was extremely helpful, but forgot to mention the extra charges on credit card payments which is 20%... Prices shown on the website are not replicated in reality but nonetheless reasonably cheap compared to most other sites of this nature. I'd certainly recomend Cheaptickets.co.uk to everyone!
I had two terrible experiences with this company. First, we booked a hotel stay in Florida through them in March 2013 that promised a $75 hotel credit upon check-out. However, the hotel refused to honor the credit because they indicated that CheapTickets failed to enter it into the reservation system. After multiple calls to the CheapTickets "Customer Service," follow-up e-mails providding various documentation (which they already had in their system), etc., they eventually agreed to issue a $100 voucher good off of a future CheapTickets.com booking.
Unfortunately, they don't deduct the voucher amount from the price at time of booking, as most reputable companies too. Rather, they require you to book it through them, pay in full via credit card, and then send in ANOTHER request for a refund of the voucher amount. Despite this RIDICULOUS process, I complied with these directions in booking a subsequent hotel stay in Massachusetts earlier this month. I sent in all of the documentation requested to claim my refund (again, even though thye had it all in their system). Incredulously, they refused to honor the voucher and provide the refund, stating that I had to book ANOTHER trip through them to be eligible for the refund. They simply ignored my follow-up e-mail providing all of the relevant documentation from both trips.
Terrible customer service and inept (at best) business practices. Buyer Beware!
I would not have booked this flight if I had known that they would be adding 2 1/2 hours to the flight time. My 7:00 flights are now leaving at 5:30 and getting in an hour later with 3 hour layovers. Horrible!!!
The customer service rep did a remarkable job and endured the whole process with my flight booking and the reservations of the hotel. She also contacted the hotel on a 3-way call, to answer questions specifically that she couldn't answer. There would be NO GRAY AREA when I checked in. I received a great discount for booking both flight and hotel with cheap tickets. I am also a active member with cheap tickets. She was patient and cordial, friendly and I appreciate her good attitude. We need more people like her to help the customer, to aid in saving $$$. Thank you!
This is the first time I have booked a airline ticket through Cheaptickets, and I was ecstatic! Cheaptickets price was $291 for a RT flight from Phoenix to Grand Rapids, Mi. flying United. I like to pick United flights because I have a frequent flyer membership for that airline. Cheaptickets price was 3-4 hundred dollars less than United website! That was less than when I would book a flight using 1/2 miles and 1/2 money through United! I had a couple months to book the flight which might have something to do with it, but I compared right away and it was still a savings of at least $300. Thats another whole flight through Cheaptickets. I will always try Cheaptickets first when booking a flight or hotel! I rate it a 10 all the way! I think the secret is booking as early as possible. You should make sure that you get a conformation # after you book your flight.I was shocked when i payed the ticket and didn,t get the conformation#.I called the main office,which was American Airline and they told me that the dealer i bought the ticket was the legal office and gave me the conformation #.
