Chaotic order process and no proper checkable record online.

This was my first visit to Chemist Direct and I'm sorry to say it will also be my last. I ordered five items and paid for next working day delivery, as all items were showing as in stock. Only two of the items arrived, and when I checked the order online the two items I had received were showing as the total order, dispatched and complete and the total amount for the order was showing at just over £11 with postage, despite the fact that over £21 had been debited from my account at the time of placing the full order. When I checked the online order section of my account I could not find any record of the missing items even having been ordered, despite having been charged for them. When I rang customer services they did not seem to know what had happened and could not explain why the full order had not been filled - I was told that the other items were probably coming direct from their supplier, but there was no mention of this at the time of ordering, and the order was placed partly in response to an email from Chemist Direct to advise that an item I was interested in was now back in stock - this item is among the missing ones !! I was advised that the missing items would arrive in a day or two from the supplier, but at the time of writing this review, nearly one week later, there is still no sign of the missing items, they are still not appearing on any online order record, despite having been paid for, and I still have not had a satisfactory explanation of what went wrong or any offer of a postage refund in consideration of the fact that the next day delivery obligation has not been fulfilled. I am not impressed and would definitely not recommend them.
