I was very pleased with the feeders and chicken medicines I ordered, but unfortunately the louse powder I ordered was not properly packaged and when I opened the box everything (including myself and the office where I work) was soon covered in powder! I emailed Wells to notify them but I have never received a response. I'll probably go back because their range is excellent, their prices are good and overall their service is good but I will be wary of ordering medicines from them again.
First time i have ordered from them, they had the stanlosan disinfectant in the size i wanted at the best price i could find. ordered it no problem, email communicationss all good. item arrived on time and in good condition. Am very happy and would use them again.
I am really pleased with my heat lamp came really quickly, even i manage to put it together and up already for my puppy and mum keeps it warm outside I have recommend this to all my friends the red bulbs can be to bright for my dogs so this was perfect thank you
I got two new PoL pullets and they wouldn't lay in their nest box so I ordered a couple of dummy eggs from Wells Poultry. They were delivered. In a couple of days and a few. days later both I and my girls were happy! Eggs in nest box. Excellant product and excellant service! Thank you.
Who would have thought I would have spent this much on my girls! The Automatic Door Opener has allowed my hens to come out earlier and spend more time outside than if I was to manually open their door. I have seen homemade products that look like they would take some maintenance. Recently I have seen a new product in the U.S., however it requires electricity rather than batteries, which would not work on my property. This door opener was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to install and calibrate.
I placed an order 16th Jan 2014 and my credit card was charged on 17th Jan for £196 it is now the 21st Feb and still haven't received the order! When ordering I paid extra for the order to be delivered within 8 days when it didn't arrive I telephoned to ask what had happened. I was informed that part of the order was a special stock item & wasn't in stock until the following week. I explained that I had paid extra postage for the order to be delivered within 8 days & was informed that I had paid for the item to be delivered to me ASAP as soon as it had been delivered to them. After trying to explain further that this is not what I had paid extra for I was asked abruptly if I would like to cancel the order!! We have now emailed the firm twice this last week & received an acknowledgement to say that both emails have been received but I am yet to receive a reply. In hind site I wish to goodness I had cancelled the order & bought elsewhere!! Terrible service and very poor customer relations.
i purchased these items valued at £320 on 9th November 2013 today it's 19th february 2014 on the 6th january i received the following misleading mail
Hello, We spoke to the company on friday and they have informed us they are in a shipping container on their way to them so should be with us i would say next week to be safe, hopefully they will receive them in the next few days and then they will be sent straight out to us. Kind Regards, Louise

I ordered a chicken feeder and drinker on the 26th December. Allowing for the holidays we expected to have received the items by now 11th Jan. We have emailed twice with no responses. We have tried to call and there is no answer.
Update: I have been contacted and informed there will be a weeks delay for delivery. I will update again when I receive the items.
UPDATE: Items received, so they got there in the end, if they had communicated the delay or shown the items as out of stock I would have been happier though.
