Im stuck with a VSBi unit that doesn't and has never worked .The company told us to send light sensor back which we did (They said they had received it the one time they answered phone)Despite their promises they have not replaced it and are now not replying to emails,phone,Facebook message.Have also tweeted but still waiting. It looks as though there have been other comments on TP of similar problems but unfortunately have only seen them now.Very disappointed.
Having purchased a competitor's version previously which was cheaper but failed after a few weeks and needed exchanging not once but three times, I bought this and have not had a single problem with it. It arrived quickly and works exactly as it should. I no longer worry about my hens being locked in or worse still locked out- totally reliable.
Ordered this as to be honest it is the only one on the market but I'm very pleased. Excellent quality, easy to assemble and looks good too. Quick delivery as well. Would definitley order from here again.
The feeder itself is fine - works well and the girls got used to it immediately. The issue is the plastic bracket which is screwed into a wall with 4 screws and plugs. The plastic arm keeps popping out on one side which makes the feeder fall off and when the feeder is attached, you can see it making the arms twist so not sure how long it will last for. A metal bracket would be much better, or a second bracket for the top section to spread the force.
THOUGHT I WOULD TRY ANOTHER SITE BUT SHOULD HAVE STUCK TOO THE SITE HAVE USED MANY TIMES BEFORE P&T POULTRY FIRST TAKING MY MONEY AND NOT FORFILLING MAY ORDER OF MORE THEN TWO THIRDS IS STILL OUT STANDING. HAVING COMPLAINED ON ACTION IS TAKEN ON THE BOXES WITH SAID MAGGOTS
Placed my order in late August and time went on, in late September I sent a chaser email and was informed that on the day I placed my order there was an issue with their systems and the order would be despatched straight away, OK. End of October still no sign of the order so a further chaser then eventually the order turned up. Just as well it wasn't food otherwise my chooks would be no more. Must try harder = D- for Wells Poultry.
Had problem with one of my delivery were the packaging was done very poorly and and an item was totally damaged. I contacted Wells Poultry and I was promised that the damaged item would be sent to me free of charge. This never happened and feel I was just told what I wanted to hear - very disappointing. So Wells Poultry can talk the Talk but they DON'T Walk the Talk !!
