I would highly reccomend Chillisauce as a planner for Hen Weekend, was so nice to have someone else plan it and we just turn up and all oragaised for you! The places we went and the staff are excellent if need any help on anything!
Chillisauce made booking Dodgeball (great fun) for my best mate's stag do easy. Sammi was very helpful and friendly on the phone and the website where you can view all the details of the programme is excellent. It included all the details, maps contact details etc and made it really simple on the day. Highly recommended.
The weekend wasn't organised by me, so I can't give any indication about ease of booking etc. All I can say is that it all seemed extremely efficient, even the ability to see who has paid etc. Not all places were as sparkling as others, the three course meal and drink was then not available, but that isn't chillisauces fault, but the venue.
I've just returned from my third trip with Chillisauce (Riga in Latvia) and can honestly say they never fail to deliver. I am only a simple Northern fellow so internets and all that is a bit of a kerfuffle but Rob is always available on the telephone (our Account Manager) and gives us a first class professional service. We've been to Berlin, Germany - Brno, Czech Republic - Riga, Latvia and can't wait to pick our destination for 2015. The website is actually very simple to master and a couple of calls in to Rob and everything we want is finalised in an hour or less. We get the guidance we need and the reassurance that everything to do with money is taken out of the organiser's hands and Chillisauce takes over. The trips themselves have been fantastic. Great hotels, and really fantastic local guides and activities. Travelling is all supposed to be about exploring and challenging yourself so it's great that supportive local people are at your beck and call whenever you need them. And more than willing to carry you home if necessary. I won't use any other provider and have no reason to complain about a single aspect of our trips. Thanks very much, Dan.
Where to start! After a week of planning was harassed to 'pay the deposit now, and your Hen will be 1/2 price!' so I did!
Completed the other ladies (12 in all) detail immediately as they had a limited time to secure their place....and that night they began to pay their deposits...
Late afternoon the next day received a call from another 'agent' who advised that the accommodation wasn't available (they hadn't even checked before confirming the prior day!) no alternative offered, no apology!
I called back later that day to arrange for the refunds to be made to those who had paid to be advised it would all be paid back to me and i was to repay to the individuals!! Not only is this against credit card policy but opens them up to all sorts of fraudulent transactions. Apart from this I had not met everyone and was not prepared to undergo admin for their inability to confirm what had been agreed...........2 weeks later i have received an email advising their Finance Director and legal team see nothing wrong with their processes for refunds and am still awaiting a refund!
**Meanwhile, i have managed to book the same weekend, with a higher class of accommodation for over 20% LESS!!**
My tip would be, avoid and arrange yourself........they don't 'own' properties or activities and everything they can do, you can do better!!
I have just returned from a hen weekend that I organised for my best friend through Chillisauce. Being the first hen do that I've had to organise and after hearing horror stories from friends that organised everything themselves and have been left out of pocket, I decided to go with Chillisauce. I'd done some research into locations and activities, but right from the start Chillisauce were on hand giving me advice about the most popular places to go and activities to do for my mixed-aged hen group. We decided on 80's dance lessons and cocktail making. From there on the process was really simple - everyone logged on and paid their own deposits and balances through the website. All I had to do was send a couple of reminder emails. The actual weekend was lots of fun - the hotel was lovely, clean and central, the activities were FANTASTIC and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend and have even started organising my sister's hen do for later this year, again through Chillisauce.
Tried to organise a treasure hunt for a hen weekend in Manchester through them. Paid the deposit which I was told would hold the booking and they could add or takeaway people on the booking, they set up an account so everybody could log in and pay. This is a hen party for 15 within 2 days most people had paid then I receive rude texts telling me it would be cancelled if all wasn't paid over the weekend, then Monday morning a text almost like a threat to tell me that it would be cancelled by 12 if the money wasn't there! Not what you need on a hectic Monday morning at work!! So never heard anything... I'm under the impression all the girls have now paid, or as I had been informed by the agent it's not a problem to add or take people off the booking, I sent screen shots of the messages to our whatsapp group which they all thought were very rude. (Turns out one of the girls wasn't on the group) Anyway I called Sarah (the booking agent) a week later as I hadn't heard anything to be told 'I cancelled it babe' there was just no need and they didn't even email me, call me or text me or refund the money that had been paid! All they had to do was send a pack through the post it's a self managed treasure hunt! Anyway finally got a refund and booked exactly the same thing through another agent and much cheaper!! Crap customer service, overpriced!
We used Chilliesauce because everyone lives so far apart (on different continents) and had our stag do in Edinburgh - lovely city! The events planned by Chilliesauce couldn't have been better. So much was crammed into the weekend & it was great not to have to worry about accommodation as they sorted it all out for us. The accommodation was top notch too! When (if) my time comes for a stag do I'll be looking to use Chilliesauce to organise mine!
When I made an enquiry about a booking I was inundated with calls, emails, txts asking me to book and helping with any queries I had. Since booking, I can't can't hold of account manager & she isn't interested in replying to any of my emails. However, when I booked she said send an email or call whenever. Bad customer service!! It seems she just wants commission?? Very upset with service & would like a new event manager.
I contacted the company to obtain some information about their activities. Jamie chapman, one of the events managers was incredibly rude. He hang up in the middle of the converstaion and never called back - some customer service!
Having used chilli-sauce for my hen weekend last year with some minor hiccups; (chilli-sauce didn't confirm go karting numbers until last minute even though provisionally booked 8 months prior, so indoor go-karting became out-door as not enough karts at completely different venue, *however they apologised and compensated) I recommended them to a friend. When my friend booked with chilli-sauce she specifically requested the ibis hotel at explore lane bristol and we'd stayed there on mine and loved how close it was to prism which was in our event. However around 2 weeks prior we'd discovered the 'rep' had booked the ibis hotel at temple-meads. The rep wouldn't except responsibility and was adamant the hen didn't request explore lane when we were all there that day and know she did. We ended up having to go to the travel lodge hotel instead which alright was only 5 minutes walk extra but the stress would've been easily avoided if communication would've been sent via email soon as it was booked. Overall they did 'good'
The organisation really helped what would have been an un-organised lads holiday, this ensured we could actually do everything we set out to do and more. Having events booked with all travel etc sorted really allows you just to enjoy the break! Our rep Natalia was very good, spoke excellent English, was patience but also assertive when needed :) - she made sure we got the most out of the days we were in krackow.
Jute dealt with my reservation and she was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to help me. We organised a Bollywood dance class and the whole lesson was a lot of fun. It was arrange in a central location close to where we were staying and was in a great venue. I booked the lesson with Jute over the phone and once the deposits were paid I was able to upload the names of the ladies in my party, Jute spoke to me in a really friendly and helpful manor and as a direct result of her excellent customer services, if I were to book another event with Chillisauce I would specifically ask for Jute to deal with my booking. She is a great representative of your company.
We went on a hen do to Berlin with 13 people where we had two events organised by Chilli Sauce. The first was a bar crawl where we were supposed to be taken to 3 to 4 venues over 4 hours. The first venue we went to was a fairly average bar where no area was reserved for us so we had to stand around for ages waiting for a table. Our guide then proceeded to smoke and chat to her friends for the next 2 hours. She then took us to a club where we were able to get in on the guest list but she then promptly left us there, 2 hours into our 4 hour bar crawl. This cost each person £15 and didn't even include transport. The second event they organised for us was 4 hours at a spa. We were given tickets and told to find the spa ourselves. On getting there we found out that the spa ticket cost €24.50 per person on the door but Chilli Sauce charged us £50 per head. The spa was basically a public swimming pool with some saunas and steam rooms and our £50 didn't include any treatments or even towel hire that we had to fork out another €3.50 for. It's outrageous that they charged more than double the normal price for the spa for providing no service other than booking some tickets in advance for us when we could have easily purchased them at the door.
I booked a couple of activities with Ashley, who was perfect. All communications were prompt and accurate and I felt they were there if I needed them, but without being deluged with spam or upselling. I did it mostly by phone because the website is a little clunky - although it allowed me to keep tabs on the situation. The day went smoothly, with minimum hassle - we just turned up and did our thing. Essentially, IO can't fault the service.
Lauren Willis from Chillisauce.co.uk, was super helpful throughout. This was my first experience organising a Stag, and she was very reassuring and supportive. Making the whole experience a relaxed and enjoyable one.
I highly recommend this company and will be using them again for future Stags/Events!
really disappointed at the service and the time to deal with complaints!... made a booking in Glasgow for a hen party and paid £30 deposit. Once it was paid, I heard nothing about booking, not even a confirmation of payment and had to chase it up. I was finally told that booking was confirmed, and so I checked with venue before asking for everyone's contributions only to be told by 2 different memebers of staff on 2 separate occasions that NO booking had been made. Needless to say I cancelled my booking, and unsurprisingly lost my deposit. It was clearly all just a con all along. this company has pocketed my £30 booking fee for a booking they DIDNT even make. I now have the event sorted elsewhere and it was organised in a day- not like the saga dragged out by these cowboys!!! If you are looking for a recommendation, I recommend you look elsewhere!!!
We went to hamburg. Every taxi booked by chilli sauce turned up on time so very hassle free for a group if 14 blokes. Go karting exceeded my expectations, the chap could of explained a little more about the best way to do it but there was the language barrier. Any who the adrenaline over shone this. Great tour with an absolutely stunning local girl... Gave us a brilliant night our. Great weekend. You could do everything that chilli sauce did yourself and save a little dollar but for the ease of having it all sorted there well worth it.
