Dishonest and bad value

I found chili sauce to be poor value overall and generally unhelpful. All they did for me was ring the activity centre and put my name on the door of a few bars using but they charge a huge premium for this. In addition when booking they told me I could book a certain number and adjust it closer to the time. However when I went to adjust the number down I was then informed of a no refund policy! Would have been nice to know that earlier. This is dishonest. In addition the company lost interest in assisting me once they had received payment. For example they booked the pub crawl for a completely different city! Useless and dishonest

    I'm sorry you feel you've had a bad experience in using us.

    You aren't listed in our system so perhaps you could email me on with the group leader's name and the date of your event so that I can fully investigate your complaint and get back to you.

    Regarding adjusting of numbers, we encourage customers not to worry about exact numbers at the time of booking because we give them an additional two weeks after they have made the initial reservation in which to collect all deposits from those who want to attend the event. The important thing is to ensure the availability of the activity site and or accommodation involved in the booking and not let it be taken by another group.

    After this two week period anyone who has not paid a deposit will be removed from the booking but can always be added on should the availability with the suppliers still be there. Our deposits are non-refundable so should someone who intends on joining the event pay a deposit and not be able to attend, they will lose their deposit. I think you will find this is standard wherever you see the word deposit in most business transactions. All final balances need to be paid 6 weeks prior to the date of the event. After such time we can make no downward changes to the numbers in the booking. Our account managers are very clear about these terms when taking bookings and they are also in our terms and conditions.
