Having the ability to pay balances online is great for the organiser, but paying what seemed like a 100% mark up for the stag do, I'd rather just have the best man organise it and pick some (much) better accommodation for the same cost.

The very nature of our service is based around taking the strain and hassle out of organising what at times can be a stressful event for the group leader. Whilst we do put a price on our service, knowledge and expertise, we can assure you our mark-up is nowhere near 100%. The option for an event organiser to book everything direct is always there for them (or someone else in the group who would rather do it all) but with that responsibility comes hours of research for appropriate venues and availability, potentially large upfront payments to venues, contacting multiple venues for numbers changes last minute drop out issues, collecting money from the event participants and ensuring accurate distribution of the weekends event details. And these are only a handful of tasks required of a group organiser. Some people simply do not have the time for such tasks.
It is worth mentioning your event was held in Brighton, one of the UK’s busiest locations for stag and hen parties was only booked about 2 months before the event was to take place. Brighton’s key accommodation venues book out many months in advance which is why your (large) group had to be based where you were.
