I was waiting for a parcel from Amazon and tracking it on line. Everything was going fine until it arrived at their Edinburgh Depot . That is Livingston, Edinburgh, which is 15 miles from my house! I normally don't mind collecting from a depot as a number of couriers have depots within a mile of my house so I'm a bit spoilt. CityLink told me online they intended redelivery the following day but as the chances were they would not be able to deliver a second time, I decided my safest bet was to head straight to the depot after work. On stopping by the house to collect the card they had left, along with my passport for ID, I discovered, to my surprise, 2 cards. One was saying that nobody was available to sign for the parcel, shortly after 10am. The second one was to tell me it had been left with a neighbour after 2.30pm! Yes , the driver had dropped by on his way back to the depot, just in case someone was home! Nice to know that some drivers don't mind going the extra mile! Thank you!
