Package goes on a package holiday!

So I ordered 2 speakers and confirmed that they will be delivered Thursday 12th December as I need them for Friday and Saturday night. They do not arrive so on Friday I check the website and it says they have been collected. I call customer service and they inform me that both my packages are at Epsom depot and they will put a note on the system that I will collect. When I arrive at the depot they give me a funny look and say 'the packages are not here but let me check the system' the guy comes back and says ' 1 package is in Southampton and 1 is at Gatwick and they are not due for delivery until Monday!! My only way of getting these packages is for the company who booked it to put in a request for it to be put in 'TCF' which is helpful as this means I can collect on Saturday. The company goes one better than that and asks for the packages to be delivered Saturday, which of course pleases me. So I call customer service on Saturday morning and I am now told that the package is in Cardiff and has probably missed the trunking so it will not arrive in Epsom until Sunday night! So have I just been the butt of City Link employes or is their system completely flawed! I have been totally inconvenienced having wasted time and money trying to collect an overnight which will have taken 6 days to be delivered. If they ever get delivered not to mention the reason why I ordered the product in the first place. I would certainly not recommend the service.
