Clarks customer care does not exist in Turkey. I was almost beaten up by Clarks store manager because I had to show him my bleeding feet from a surgery .Clarks shoes after only 1 day of putting them on caused that. I even have a medical report confirming that. The shoes were obviously defected but Clarks does not take any responsibility; just ignoring me from the beginning although they were very friendly and caring the day of purchase. I tried to contact customer care on the UK but they are also ignoring their customer because I do not live in the UK. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
Below is most of my response to the customer advisor dealing with a Clarks parcel wrongly delivered to my address -
Dear Michelle, What an amazingly swift response and great outcome. Thank you for your time in sorting this out, much appreciated. It was commendable of you to apologise on behalf of Parcel Force, even though Clarks addressed the parcel correctly. Rural addresses certainly seem to flummox and I think the Parcel Force delivery person is as new as we are to the area as it's the second parcel we've had delivered here this week, bound for somewhere near by! I'll happily await collection by your customer, and will endeavour to pass on to all I meet, what a fantastic customer service department Clarks have, it makes a refreshing change to deal with such a pro active company. Just to add your customer has now collected her parcel - and all within 45 minutes of my original email to ask you to contact her and inform her where to collect said parcel. Kind regards Bev
Have ordred frm their website four times in the last eight months or so. I have only received my full order once received a partial order once and been let down on the other occasions. If you have ordered do not expect delivery it will come as a surprisenif it arrives. No customer service just bland statements of out of stock which is no help to man nor beast if its out of stock do not take the order. very inconvienient to be told five days after placing order that it cannot be fulfilled, causing increased expense and major frustration which is not even acknowledged. pretty much the worst online retailer I have yet encountered do not use Clarks expecting anything like good service and you will not be disappointed.
I bought a pair of desert boots in the sale. I thought it was a brilliant price so I was really excited about wearing them. I tried them on and they were fine. Not too tight or small. All was good until I started to wear them out and about. They were so uncomfortable! I took them off and realised I had a massive blood blister! I took them back to Clarks, they could only offer me a gift voucher. I emailed them in hope I will get a refund and they would let me off in this instance, but nope! They had no sympathy that I had a massive blood blister on my foot from THEIR desert boots. I wish I went on TrustPilot before and didn't even bother. If you do see this, make sure you tried them on in the shop and walk around the whole shopping centre before you buy them! Rubbish company. I won't be buying from them again!
Website advertises a simple returns policy. What a blatant lie. Returned some very uncomfortable shoes to my local store only to be refused a refund or exchange by the manager. As a result I was forced to argue for 15-20 minutes in front of a shop full of people in order to get him to finally yet reluctantly agree to exchange for another product. Very rude and unacceptable manner of treatment.
Posted a review on Clarks' website warning other shoppers of the uncomfortable pair of shoes that were delivered to me however Clarks refused to publish the review!
I have ordered many pairs of shoes and bags online but the last two orders have been a disaster. I had ordered to collect at my local store, with order No1 I never received an e-mail advising that they had arrived, With order No2 I did receive an e-mail however it advised that a pair of shoes I had ordered over 6 months ago were in stock albeit at a totally different store. When I called in to the local store I explained about the e-mail and asked if they had them. Yes they did but the address for the customer was not mine and was for someone in Birmingham! The very, very nice Manager at the local store was so apologetic which was rather more than customer services were when I rang them.
My personal experience with shopping online at Clarks has been a disaster. After checking the status of my delivery after a 'phantom' missed delivery the previous day it transpired that my order had been left in somebody else's porch. Instead of applying common sense and telephoning the courier, Clarks insisted that their policy was contact via e-mail only. Needless to say several days later they couldn't track down where my delivery had been left and they completely failed to communicate with me (despite telephone calls and an e-mail) until I bombarded their Facebook page with complaints (which Clarks have now deleted unsurprisingly!) They have however left many complaints from other customers on there so I am definitely not the only customer having had a negative customer service experience.
Really simple to use website. The shoes arrived quickly, although the delivery company left them with someone who lives 5 doors away, who then went on holiday for 1 week so couldn't get the parcel! Would be so much more convenient for me to pick up from the depot. Just meant i did not get them for the event i needed them for.
The shoes are great quality, and very comfortable. some styles are a bit 'old' but the collaborations with fashion designers are great.
Only problem i have - was sent details about a competition to win a pair of shoes if I leave a review. except the review section keeps indicating there is an error so can't leave a review.
never brought clarks shoes since being a young boy. I have purchased 3 pairs now thru their website. I ordered a size 7.5 and 8 once and returned a pair to their shops free of charge. Also with cashback at Quidco. Shoes last much longer also. Will never go back to buying shoes at *&* on the high street again.
My daughter started secondary school last Wednesday and has worn her Sensible shoes for 3 days, lace ups, flat and ( how she puts it, uglyshoes ) just plain shoes as her school stipulated.... She put her feet on the measuring thing and came out an enormous size 7 G, which made me bite my lip as she looks all feet with skinny legs and a cartoon characture face( very funny! shes cute though ).. She has to walk a fair bit to school, she informs me today she can't run or walk that fast because her shoes fall off !!! Not amused as they are not that cheap.... I know it must be hard to get it exactly right but she has been wearing a 5 1/2 shoe nearly a 6 for the last few months! Sort those machines out, I would like to think she might grow into them, but I do hope she doesnt get much bigger!!!
