IN DEBT ,GET HELP
Sleepless nights phone ringing, ceditors wanting there money,letters e-mails,
i was robbing Peter to pay Paul by taking out payday loans,it all went out of
control,different debt management companies ripping me off.
I spoke to ClearDebt ,and within about 4 to 5 weeks they sorted out my IVA,
DebtCare are always there for you ,and keep you updated right from the start.
Nice to relax and have a good nights sleep,

A great company to deal with finance issues
I have been with clear dept for approximate six months after they arranged an iva for me.i found them very helpfull and understanding ,they made the application very simple and put my money worries to rest .i would greatly recommend this company for all finance solutions I thank them for all the work they have done and continue to do .

Crap
You can stop interest payments if you speakntonthe company or go to citizens advice and u don't get charged £30 a month if you're paying an extra £30 to reduce your payments you have to pay the debt plus all the £30 charges

I keep my phone line on the hook now and I am not afraid to answer it.
For quite some time now I have been feeling so depressed, stressed, worried, you name it, that was me. I did not want to talk to anyone so I took my phone off the hook and for the time it was on the hook, I did not answer any unknown calls, or numbers I did not recognise. This is a horrible way to live always having to be aware of what bad may happen. Anyway, I rang my sister and she gave me Abacus's number, and from that moment onwards, I feel as though a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I spoke to Charles and he was very caring and understanding, Whilst on the phone sorting out my application, a creditor rang me, I told Charles who it was and he told me to answer my mobile giving them the details he had just given me. I answered and all I did was give them the reference number and tell them who was dealing with my Debt Care Plan, they said ok and they will not ring me again. From that moment, I felt as though I was Debt Free. I then had a phone call from Steve who took time to talk and explain to me about PPI's. He too had alot of time and patience for me. I go to bed thinking of what I will be doing the next day and I wake up looking forward to the day ahead. I felt so confident in the way that I felt, that I spoke to a friend of mine at work and it just took that one phone call and Charles is helping and advisingher also. She too is happy I told her about Abacus. I am so glad that I made that initial phone call and will continue using and answering my phone as I am in control now.

Fabulous
I would recommend Clear Debt to friends and anyone else interested in clearing their debts as the advisors are easy to speak to and very reassuring . Everyone involved in advising us about an IVA was helpful and done what they said they were going to do. They made everything seems easy when everyone else who claimed they could get us an IVA failed at it. I would definitely recommend ClearDebt to anyone .

Very genuine and helpful.
Becoming getting involved with clear debt, i had used two management companies who lied about how they could help as to get me signed on to them. They did not fulfil their promises and never cared about me. With clear debt, i found an ethical company who were truthful to their promises to help me clear my debt and learn better habits of managing money. Also they worked with me at my pace and were never pushy. I would recommend clear debt to any body who drowning in debt.

How novel - A company that cares...
Our IVA advisor is called Mike. He is a diamond! He genuinly cares and wants to help people! He has done everything to make sure i understand things and that means alot!!!! He was really lovely, an excellent rep for the company. we currently have a debt management plan with abacus and it has been fine. no problems, its nice that they speak to people on our behalf and that they do there best with arranging payments and freezing intrest etc which we can't do our selves.

Still waiting and Misinformed..we thought we were done
We were 4 yrs into out iva and were fortunate enough to agree an early settlement using the funds of a family member. Through this process clear debt were great. On 22/02/12 we received a copy of the chairmanship report confirming that our variation had been passed which was submitted to the courts. My wife was told that once the funds were transferred we would receive our completion certificate within 6 weeks. £14000 were transferred within 2 days.
Then 4 weeks later we received a letter instructing us that they had to investigate PPI relating to the loans in the IVA.
At no point prior to this had we been informed of this action.
So here we are 10 months later and no communication from clear debt for months.
Misinformed and mismanaged. Feels like since they have received the money we are no longer of interest yet we can't move on! a variation to finish the IVA Early... We may as well have paid the 5th yr.
Wife is now pregnant and we need to move but still have this hanging over us... Bring in the credit checks!!!
Customer service has been appalling. Enough a enough time to seek legal advice

We fully understand your frustration Kevin.
As PPI is classed as an asset which must be captured within your individual IVAs, ClearDebt have no alternative but to ensure these funds are realised. We have corresponded with you on numerous occasions by telephone, letter and email over the previous months but we are duty bound to comply with the terms of the IVAs as are you and your creditors.
This issue is affecting every IVA provider and ClearDebt are doing everything possible to take the lead within the industry to find a solution.
If you do not feel this is the case then I urge you to seek legal advice as you have suggested - I'm sure this will put your mind at ease that ClearDebt have acted in accordance with the contract we are charged with ensuring is complied with by all parties.

Helpful
Debt is really stressful and you don't know what to do or where to turn, it can make you feel desperate and alone and companies like clear debt give you a light at the end of the tunnel, some control over your finances again. I am only at the beginning of trying to sort my finances out but I feel supported by my account manager. My only observation would be that because they deal with these situations everyday they can be somewhat dismissive of the stress or anxiety that you feel over your situation. This is why I am not grading it a perfect

Really Very Good
I had massive debt. Cleardebt, they brought me through it in a way I did not believe possible. I made a good conscientious repayment to my creditors (61%), and am now - after four years - rebuilding my finances. Cleardebt are attentive and unintrusive. I recommend them without hesitation.

disappointing
I am totally disappointed with cleardebt they put my husbands debts onto my iva and messed everything up i have had creditors ringing and writing for 12 months.I am stressed big time, my husband and i both have bad health and dont need the extra pressure.You expect professional people to get things right when you put your trust in them.Had i known beforehand i would have filed for bankruptcy.

We are now urgently looking at solutions including the possibility of a variation to the terms of your IVA to try to help your husband to maintain his obligation to his own debts (his may be in the form of his own IVA). Freedom from Worry
Company very helpful and non-judgemental. Contact was excellant as a direct telephone number was given for a personal advisor that dealt with my case. All procedures were explained simply and clearly and followed up with written details. I would highly reccomend this company to anyone that has Debt problems as their customer service and expertise are brilliant.

they are always ready to talk to you and bend over backwards to help ,never be affraid to call them with any kind of question it might seem daft or insignificant to you , but if its on your mind then it needs answering and they will do thier best to get you the answer ...and they always keep you updated if there is to be any changes to your account ......i think their great :-)

cleardebt helps you breath easier at night
best thing i have done, debts were mouning ,money run out before week 1 and very rude baliffs pounding the door down. called cleardebt things took 2 weeks and now i dont have to worry about baliffs and the like. Very reasonable pay back and i can afford to eat!
