I'm very pleased with the laptop I bought from Cleverboxes via eBay. It was exactly as described and delivered very quickly and efficiently. However, I want to extend the warranty from 1 year to 2 years but despite numerous email exchanges and a phone call I have still not managed to get a price from Cleverboxes. I've had two emails telling me that there is more than one option for extending the warranty but after over two weeks of trying I've still not received anything.
Good value product .Would recomend tesco light fitting ice cube flush cealing 4 lights.4x g9 bulbs 33w,brighter than you thimk.They all so do a 5 cube flush ceiling light,with g9, 5x25w g9 bulbs.If you look for brightness go for the 4 cube,there roughtly same price.
Recently purchased a Hard Drive via Flubit when they beat the Amazon price by almost £10. So it was a relatively decent bargain.
All was good in terms of delivery times, etc. until I received the package. I was initially shocked at the fact it was sent in some bubble wrap in a plastic packaging. But wasn't surprised when the hard drive was DOA.
The return process was fast and efficient although to my amazement, even after I informed them of the poor packaging and the likelihood that it caused the DOA they sent me a replacement using exactly the same type of packaging! Fortunately, this one worked, although I wouldn't be surprised if it plays up in the near future.
Great prices and customer services, but they seriously need to improve their packaging especially on certain products and also listen to their customers suggestions.
Customer service is a joke; phone range 31 times, no answer. Only 7 days are allowed for returning unsued, unopened items. The usual, from reputable vendors is more like 2 to 4 weeks. Once reached, through a third party (web site where they listed their goods) the person was nice and moderately helpful. But it is not a place that I would ever shop again.
Cleverboxes were brilliant from start to finish. I had a specific person handling my case. They were very quick with their responses and had my new tablet delivered to me exactly when they said they would (to within half an hour, to be precise).
I will definately recommend them to friends and family.
Well done Cleverboxes. That's how good customer service is done! There's a lot of companies who should take a leaf out of your book.
I had the worst possible service from Tesco whom I originally bought the item through. They weren't interested, were rather rude and extremely unhelpful. However they did refer me to Cleverbox the original supplier to sort out my problem. What a difference! The Cleverbox operator was polite, friendly, understanding and immediately arranged for my item to be re-delivered free of charge. Fantastic service - well done Cleverbox - rubbish Tesco.
I placed an order for some bedding at the beginning of October via Tesco direct and was able to collect from my local Tesco express a couple of days later. However when I got home with my package I found I had been sent the wrong size. This was a little annoying but I emailed Cleverboxes thinking it would be pretty easy to sort out. They said they could arrange an exchange via a courier who would bring the correct item and take away the item that had been sent by mistake. However when I requested delivery at the weekend or during the evening I was told that this would not be possible. Very annoying! After days of emailing and trying to sort it out I finally had to ask a family member to spend the day waiting for the package. And so 20 + days later I finally have what I ordered in the first place. I will be avoiding this seller in the future.
Great service - fast delivery etc. BUT item didn't work! Wasted a lot of time trying to set it up to find it was "dead on arrival". Helpful staff arranged collection and replacement, very promptly, but then there was a problem with collection (delivery company's fault, not Cleverboxes') - however staff were constantly in touch and were very helpful.
From start to finish my order was processed in excellent time, I was shocked how quick my order arrived to me.
I purchased a Samsung laptop from Cleverboxes for my son for university. The product was very cheap so I was sceptical at first but they answered all my questions quickly and honestly. Delivery was next day and I would highly recommend them .
I ordered a bedding set online as hoped it would be delivered quickly. It took 5 days and I received the wrong size. I couldn't speak to anybody as it seems no one works on a weekend. After speaking to somebody on the Monday I was told an exchange would happen on the Tues. I received the wrong size again. I hoped to exchange again the next day but delays meant I was due to receive correct size on Thurs. This time parcel didn't turn up. I finally received the correct size on the Friday. It took a total of nearly 2 weeks.
I had to send several e-mails before the warranty was sorted but they were quick to reply each time.
They were also helpful & efficient in delaying delivery one day so that I would be in to receive my laptop.
Laptop all as ordered & is working fine.
I bought a laptop from Cleverboxes and it developed a problem after a couple of months (these things happen). Cleverboxes offered a repair which ended up taking longer than was reasonable (manufacturer's repair centre was at fault NOT Cleverboxes). I was offered a full refund as Cleverboxes were not being advised by the repair centre when the computer would be ready coupled with the fact that they were unable to source a replacement unit (neither could I). A very professional company who really impressed me with the way in which they met their obligations in a responsible way. I will try to buy my replacement computer from them again because I know that if something goes wrong I will have the support and backup of Cleverboxes. Their employees are super, extremely helpful and calm even in the face of an at times grumpy customer!
I held back on giving the 5 stars only for one reason, they bumped up the price one day before i ordered my new RAM due to some major factory incident in Asia that's likely to push up worldwide RAM prices..
Other than that very happy with both product and service I got.
working with Chris jones and his team is very easy and they very responsive, and this is critical for our business..
Best customer service I have ever received. Your adviser was really helpful on the phone and a replacement device could not have been received any quicker. Would not hesitate to shop with cleverboxes in the future.
T.v was delivered promptly but alas box was dented and the screen inside was smashed, communication with Cleverboxes was good but red tape including taking photos serial numbers etc it took another couple of weeks before the damaged item was picked up and sent back to Cleverboxes SUPPLIER and they acknowledged receipt and a new one could be sent, which so far has worked well. Would n't buy a t.v online again will be shop bought Not the type of experience i would expect from an item ordered through Tescos.
Bought Scroll Excel III tablet from Cleverboxes via Tesco Direct. Unfortunately there was a fault with the device and I had to return it for a replacement. Return procedure very easy and the day they received my faulty tablet a new one was sent out - excellent customer service.
The 1 x 2 off memory boards were exactly what was require for my computer.
My biggest concern was when they arrived they were in a bag not a box, I thought they might be damaged in transit but they were ok.
