I placed an order for a case of espresso pods on 9/23/13. On 10/9/13, I assumed that I should have at least been given tracking info for it by then; had I ordered from any place else, I probably would have received it by then. I emailed to find out the order status (on their website, it just said 'complete'). This was the response:
"After speaking with our inventory manager, there seemed to have been a system error which prevented your order from being processed. We are going to manually place the order for you today so this will be shipped out either later today or tomorrow. You should get it within the next 1-5 business days."
I asked for tracking information, and was given a number/no carrier service name to go with it so that I could actually look the number up - and that's because it was not mailed on 10/9 or 10/10 as they said it would be. I've asked several times since then who they shipped this through so that I could actually track the package and verify they actually sent it this time, and I have not gotten any reply. When more than two weeks pass since your customer places an order before you ship it to them - YOU EXPEDITE IT. You don't let it continue to sit.
In addition to this, Cerini Coffee & Gifts are cheaper, even after shipping. Cerini has it listed $15 less than coffeeforless.com, and it does not cost $15 to ship. There is absolutely no reason to buy from this company again. They did say that they would credit $5 back to my card for the inconvenience (only after I asked), but that's not enough to ever deal with them again - on top of already paying a higher price. If I hadn't emailed about the shipment, they would have taken my money and never sent my order.
customer service is just plain awful, hesitated to exchange my order and then stress that i would be responsible for the return cost. All i wanted was different flavor, i ordered a "special" and what i though i was getting 96ct. variety, i recieved 96ct of gingerbread, really? the customer service rep was shocked that i would change it.Does he even drink coffee? I take my coffee seriously, apparantly they don't. Then why should i continue to buy from them, there are others who will want a serious coffee drinkers orders. I will definitely tell my facebook friends and others to beware,. I had to settle for a refund because it was too much effort for the rep to find product that was "similar cost"
