Good service and good prices

As a DIY-er, I only needed a few items, but I found them easily at colglo.co.uk. I was a little surprised that they did not have brass unequal nipple connectors, but the cost of stainless steel was hardly any more. Prices were good and, although carriage is a little more than some other suppliers charge, the total cost was less. Delivery was very swift. Very satisfied!

Good product, good website, slow delivery

The website is great and the product is the right one but it took over a week to deliver the part for which I paid £7.50 delivery. I would have accepted 2-3 days or at least a telephone call to say the item was out of stock. However, when chased, no explanation was given except "I don't know why this hasn't been sent yet". When one has a leak in a tenanted property, you rely upon decent service to resolve the issue, however due to the rather tardy delivery, this was not as easy as it should have been.

I will think twice before using this website again for urgent parts; which is a shame because otherwise I was happy with the part, the price and the ease of use of the website. I hope this was an unfortunate one-off.

Best value around, reasonable postage.

Initially when I have placed order it was put on hold as some items were out of stock. Later they actually called me back to tell me that the items are back in stock and that it will be posted same day. They also apologized for a delay. Top service.

no longer stocked item

web site and ordering was simple and easy,
price of product was very cheap. Colglo sent e-mail next day saying no longer stocked this item and my money was returned to card / account within 2 days. So no problem with the company hence the 4 stars rating.

very good service

Hi.I recently ordered 4 stainless steel tail hose fittings. They arrived by courier after about 3 days from my purchase. 3 of them was fine,but 1 of them had not been bored out to the correct size. I only needed 3 for the job I was undertaking and it seemed a bit pointless sending the faulty 1 back by post as they are cheap to buy anyway.

surprisingly efficient

I had initially felt a little discriminated against by a postal surcharge to Northern Ireland of £25. However the package arrived next day...surprise surprise...and I'd already spent well in excess of £25 driving phoning and looking everywhere only to hear 'reasons' about why no-one else carries this level of stock.
My time is important to me.

Ridiculous postage costs!!

Good website, good product, but given a choice I would have shopped elsewhere purely because of the postage costs. Spent over 3 times the value of my products in postage!
