good buy

This is a very good website if you are wanting lovely soap and other toiletries. I find it hard to choose but I am always delighted when my order arrives.

Super soft cotton bed sheets

I bought yellow kingsize duver set. They arrived quickly and were super soft though somewhat big for the bed. This was solved after the first wash though as they shrunk considerably and now fit fine. Apart from shrinkage they have washed well and maintained their colour and softness.

Great service - problem customer!

I have bought several bed-sets & fragrances from your Brighton branch in the past. Now living oop North - so used your mail order service.

Unfortunately, I unexpectedly did not like the feel of the recently ordered bedding (600 thread count) & therefore returned it immediately - keeping the tried & tested dogtooth check duvet cover only (a lower thread count I think) - so rather surprising!

It was a shock to find that it would cost me £14.00 plus to send order back safely.

Will return to Brighton branch to buy next set (it's urgent/for a guest bedroom) & therefore be able to experience the difference the thread counts make to the feel etc.

Maybe??? If I had persevered the bedding would have become softer to the touch???

Would only use mail order again if there were free returns offered.

Super quality and great service!

I bought my new baby niece a brushed cotton blanket , the quality was second to none . The colours were stunning, the pattern unique , the perfect blanket to wrap your new baby in .
The delivery was really quick I had it within 3 days of ordering and was beautifully gift wrapped (free service ) as requested. I would definitely purchase more items brought cologne and cotton again .

Amazing quality

I love Cologne and Cotton bed linen and have recently bought a new set for my toddler who has just moved out of his sleeping bag to sleep under a duvet. My daughter has the pink stars duvet and pillow set and now my son has the blue. It is brilliant quality, crisp but soft and arrived so quickly, I could not have been happier with the websites efficiency or the product.

Wonderful products, wonderful service!

Love the offerings of Cologne and Cotton. The shipping from the UK to the US is handled efficiently with no hassles at all. Would recommend this company to anyone who loves fine linens.

Lovely products but wouldn't buy online again

I was shocked that the VAT wasn't added until you get to the checkout, so the final price ended up being much higher than anticipated - I can see no reason for this at all. I also assumed that as I had been able to order the items, that they would be available however I was contacted by a member of staff by phone to say that some items were not available and that she would have to check with the shops to find the other items. I would have been very cross had I gone through the whole order to find that the items I really needed were not available - the ordering system really should be connected to the stock management system. Finally the items arrived (the process was rather slow IMO presumably whilst my items were tracked down), and there was a small but very visible dark stain on one pillowcase. I contacted C&C and they sent out a replacement very quickly and with no charge so cannot fault this aspect of the customer services at all. The product is really lovely and good quality.

Until recently we did use to show a breakdown of the VAT value contained in the price shown and this may have caused you some confusion.

Nice scents but kept us waiting.

My main problem was with the late delivery. I got an email to say the parcel was due on Friday and the delivery website said I could find out the exact delivery slot. This sounded very impressive service. However, the delivery slot option never appeared on the site and the parcel did not arrive.
On Friday evening I emailed the delivery site to ask when it would arrive. On Monday morning I got an email to say it would be delivered that day, the delivery slot, and the name of the delivery man!
I am left feeling annoyed with the delivery company because, after all that promise, I was left hanging around all day on Friday, constantly checking from the window in case I didn't hear the doorbell. Their delivery did not deliver the service expected!
I loved the products but the colour of the Marius Fabre liquid soap is rather off-putting. The lily of the valley soaps make a lovely present and the bathmats are perfect. Thanks.

a treat for myself

I bought myself a bottle of Cologne and Cotton Immortelle Cologne and it's perfect for spring.It's light and refreshing and has more staying power than I thought it would have. Lovely - I'm very pleased.

I would recommend the vintage bed linen, very good quality cotton with beautiful design on border. The colour is very pure white and looks lovely on a iron bed.

I would really recommend Cologne and Cotton. They produce high quality sheets, pillow cases, nightdresses and other beautiful linen for your bedroom, bathroom or to wear. The quality of the linen is very good.

Efficient service and linen as described.

I was glad to find an online service for this linen (which John Lewis has discontinued). Costing the same as similar sheets I had from John Lewis, they are quite the same quality of cotton but, for the price and the great service, this is a company I would use again.

I often pop into the Marylebone shop, as it's near my hairdressers. Needed something special for a friends first baby (sex unknown), no hair appointment planned! Bought Amande bath products online. Text and email to say the present had been despatched - so far, so online shopping normal. Then follow up by E and T to tell me delivery time within one hour and giving options for next day delivery, leave with neighbour etc. Delivery day and time perfect and the package arrived 20 minutes into the hour and was delivered by a cheery nice man! Presents perfect too! Brilliant! Ultra convenient and quick. Proper old fashioned service and quality. Thanks!

I love the bed sets from Cologne and Cotton, they wash beautifully and wear well, i have had bed sets from them for the last four years and they still look like new. Quick delivery and very pretty packing which makes them an ideal gift.

My order was wrong but you have done your best to put it right for me.

I ordered from the Sale page, 2 pillowcases and 2 sheets and when they arrived part was pink and part duck egg! It seems the right colour was out-of-stock, hence the wrong colour sent. However, a nice helpful telephone call resulted in a compromise - I now have the right colour in a different size which I hope will work but we had to incur return postal charges and have yet to see how or if they will be refunded now that our order is complete.

DPD let me know when they were to come and did not arrive. DPD website not helpful as to what is happening.
