Late Late Late !

We ordered a day bed, and chose the delivery day. It did not arrive and we had to phone the company.We were told that it had not been loaded onto the delivery van, but should have been. It was then promised to be delivered the following day - - - it did not arrive. Again had to contact the company [ our cost each time ] Another delivery day was arranged and it did, 3rd time lucky arrive.
The product was fine, just as expected and very good value. We are pleased with it.
It was not wholly a pleasant experience, especially as it was the first time we had used the company.

Great product, great staff, delivered next day and on time could not ask for more!

After being let down by another company with various unbelievable excuses. Comfy living was a dream. Very warm confident staff, delivery was received within 24 hours as promised and the futon mattress was of very good quality indeed.

speedy delivery, good value for money and comfy too

In surprise need for guest sleeping space (our futon had gone mouldy! ah the romantic combination of British winter and damp Victorian houses) I ordered a sleep chair and wondered whether it really would be delivered the next day, but hoped so. It was, and in the morning time too, freeing up the rest of the day for errands, cooking and cleaning. The guest said it was comfy (but of course they would, by nature guests tend to be polite). The other night though, coughing, tossing and turning with a sore throat and cold I moved to the spare room to sleep on the sleep chair so as to not disturb my partner, and discovered it's true: it is really comfy and in terms of providing a space saving and economical guest bed, it's perfect. I recommend the sleep chair.

You must try Comfy Living as it has one of the easiest web sites to follow. I had been trying to buy a new futon mattress for ages and could not believe the choice and price that Comfy Living were advertising, it was delivered next day as promised. Thrilled with their efficiency and would recommend them.

good value - when we eventually got it

Bunk beds arrived quickly but without a ladder! A quick phone call ensured they arrived next working day - although phone operator admitted I was about the 50th person with the same complaint. You'd think they'd sort it a bit quicker than 50. Never mind - the grandkids love it!

We experienced stock issues from our supplier whereby one entire batch of bunks arrived in our warehouse without a ladder! Of course we were quick off the mark in contacting them, and it's a shame our customers suffered as a result and we apologise.

Many contacts where made to ensure delivery was on 23rd jan and each time it was confirmed. Even on the 22nd jan. they never rang us once, the sofa didn't show up and it was us who had to contact them. They promised compensation, they have never paid it!! I couldn't trust this company to do as it says.

Excellent value for money.

I already had one futon from Comfy Living a few years ago. My son uses it as a sofa in his bedroom when playing on his PS3 and now my younger son wanted the same so i went straight back to Comfy Living and bought another one. This time I bought the thicker mattress, which I think was worth the extra money. I wish the covers were removable so that they could be washed in the washing machine.

Impressive product

This appeared to be the best value for money futon that I found on the web. The product arrived on the stated day in good condition. The assembly instructions were clear and uick to complete. The quality was excellent, although I did order the better mattress as it will be in use for more than just the odd day.
Me only negative comment is that although company responses to previous reviews stated that the problem with the alignment of the holes needed to secure the feet had been rectified, this was still a problem in the futon I received and needed redrilling. If not for this problem I would have given 5 stars.

great futon great service

i like to do my research and this was the best value futon around with the thickest matress. the thick matress was the main reason for the purchase and it is used to sleep over our mums when required (usually a week at a time). one is 65 years old and the other 80. they both said it was nice and comfy! although i did think i would have to pull the older mother out of bed each morning! which i didn't have to, to my suprise!

Very good

Ordered on Sunday and delivered by lunchtime Tuesday. The metal frame futon is a great product, there is minimal assembly required and what assembly is required comes with clear instructions. The futon is strong and comfy

Efficient delivery

Telephone call beforehand to ensure someone was in to take delivery. Delivery was prompt. Item had some self-assembly required, and holes did not line up so had to drill a few holes.

Unfortunately we are unable to give specific time slots other than 8am-6pm. This is how we can bring you FREE DELIVERY overnight in 24hours and still be the cheapest in the UK. The majority of our customers would rather have this service and pay less rather than paying high street prices.

Fast friendly knowledgeable service

I rang regarding the purchase of two single beds and two mattresses. I was asking the lady what the mattresses were like as they were such a reasonable price. She gave me an honest answer no rubbish or lies. When i received them they were fab quality for the price i am a very happy customer x

Fantastic product, delivery was just a little out of the estimated times, and no customer services on a Saturday.

We absolutely love our bed, it feels sturdy, looks great and was easy to put together. The only issue we had was that we were told a delivery slot, and the bed arrived after this which delayed our 'building day' slightly. The customer service line is not open on a Saturday, which was a little frustrating as we would have liked to inquire about the delivery time, especially as we had to pay extra for a Saturday delivery. But overall our experience was very positive, and I'm glad we chose the bed we did.

Good quality products at cheap prices, but order comes in seperate parcels by seperate courriers who may not all turn up on the day you requested and therefore had to stay at home for. Customer service desk closes early on a friday and is closed ALL weekend, so any issues late friday or saturday won't be dealt with until the following week.

Cheap for a reason

It was impossible to put the futon feet on as the holes for the screws did not line up as they were supposed to. We had to drill holes to make it fit properly.

Remarkable futon, could not believe how comfy!

We opted for the deluxe cushion, and glad we did. Work comittments mean I work silly hours, so use this 2-3 times a week, and have to say I have slept straight through every night( a novelty for an insomniac).

Fab Chair Beds!

I ordered two chair beds for sleepovers, etc. They are a very good length and width when laid out, suitable for adults as well as children. They have been used several times as beds already and I'm told they're comfortable to sit and lie on. This was my first purchase from Comfy Living and my order was dealt with efficiently and received within a couple of days. It was really helpful being able to pick a delivery day.

2 Beds before Christmas and arrived in 2 days on Christmas eve.. WOW

You could not go wrong in ordering any item from Comfy living, I orded 2 beds before christmas for my youngest two boys, i was worried they would not arrive even though they promised to deliver before christmas, i was a little weary....
But load and behold, as I was not in the next day (Which they could deliver.) they arrived on the second day without any hassle all wrapped and as good as there word.
I would recomened thay you order from them on loads of counts.

Good price, but delivery was a shambles.

Keenly priced, but delivery was a series of false promises and many hours wasted. Would recommend for families where someone is already at home, but not for those who take time off work to wait in.

Following your response to my review, I'd just like to add the following:

The issue wasn't the 8-6 slot, it was that it didn't arrive at all on my chosen day! The 8 to 6 slot was something I accepted on booking, but in the end I had two days of 8-6 waiting in. It wasn't as if I picked next day delivery either. I placed my order almost a week before.
I agree with you that you are keenly priced, but having read some of the other reviews where other people have experienced the same issues as I did, I think it is reasonable for future buyers to read an honest appraisal of the risk associated with assuming the delivery will run smoothly.
If only you could fix this part of your offering, then you would be a company I would recommend buying from.

Not a very good service! The complete order took a week to arrive,.

I ordered bunks beds for my twin boys and a bed each for my niece and nephew. The order came in dribs and drabs, eventually when everything had arrived there was no instructions for the bunk beds. Finally after a whole week I managed to assemble the bunk beds. There was some dents and scratches on the beds but I wasn't willing to wait for god knows how long for replacements.
I certainly won't be recommending you or ordering anything else from you.

Comfortable sofa bed that fits well into a multi use room.

It was delivered on time and at short notice just before Christmas when we had guests coming unexpectedly early. It also changed the ambience of a second living room workspace, giving it a more homely and stylish feel. It was easy to assemble, the delivery man was most helpful, and ordering was straightforward .

Competitive, quick delivery, design fault with product.

Found this company on a search engine and the prices were very competitive plus they were offering free next day delivery which appealed to me. I ordered bunk beds and 2 mattresses off their easy to use web site. This Company kept me well informed to my order and the delivery,apart from not confirming that my goods would be arriving seperately. The bed and mattresses looked and felt like I would expect them to. The only issue we had was that the base slats had screw holes in them too narrow to actually attach themselves to the bed sides, deeming them useless, sharp and dangerous for litItle ones, also the slats positioned without screws moved around and actually fell off when my eldest climbed on to the top bunk frightening the life out of him! In fact I actually went out and bought some hard board for the bed bases to solve the problem but of course this added to the expense. Overall I would use this company again and the service was excellent just I would advise them to check their products suitability more carefully.

The service was perfect from beginning to end. Ordering was easy and the price was the best around and included free delivery! Delivery guys were excellent and carried my futon up two flights of stairs! BRILLIANT!
