23 months more 0%!

I found compare&save while looking for a new credit card to transfer my balance to - and I managed to beat the deal my sister got by one month! (we always seem to switch around the same time and always compete to find the best deal)

OK, it's not much, but the upside is I now have almost 2 years whilst the value of off my balance depreciates at a steady 5% thanks to inflation (pretty amazed as the last card I got was only 18 months - are banks starting to lend again?)

Save Money Every Time!

I've had Compare & Save set in my favourites for about 3 years now and I've used them a few times. I started a couple of years ago when I noticed they had fix interest credit card from mbna that Money Supermarket didn't have (which I got and sorted my finances with). Since then I've been back to Compare & Save for a 0% Tesco purchase card and even given stoozing a little try (although with savings interest rates what they are this not going to make me much money). Great simple website.

Nice Website, Good Products, Happy Me

If ever a website did what it says on the tin then this is it! Basically it ranks a load of products in order of quality (ie. balance transfer length, highest savings rate) so you can quite literally "Compare and Save". I've used it a few times now for me and the good lady wife and we've always come away with a good deal.

If a website should have been "Simples" this is it!

Great products with no effort

I always use a comparison website when I switch financial products (because there is no-way I'm going to do the research myself) and of them all compareandsave is my current favourite. It's well laid-out and has a clean and modern feel. It also feels like there's less advertising than other websites who seem to think bombarding us with ever more adverts is the way to get us to buy insurance or transfer balances on creditcards.

Best for Prepaid Cards!

I just got a new prepaid card to replace my old one now I've switched mobile network (from O2). I found these guys on Google when I search for the best prepaid card. They had all the ones that money supermarket and u-switch had as well as a couple of good one's that weren't even on anyone else's websites so I've got an Orange card for free!

Result - I saved £250 (which BG has now lost)!

I used the Compare and Save energy helpline after being driven half mad by British Gas wriggling and confusion tactics.

They were quick to answer the phone, friendly and were able to give me a number of suitable options. Over all I should save around £250 over the next year (one month in, things are looking good so far!).

What a result! Enough to go on holiday and I won't have to play “Gas-bill roulette” every quarter, with no idea what British might charge me next!

As you can imagine; I’m really pleased – I just wish I’d done it sooner. So here’s a warning to everyone – Don’t have misguided loyalties to companies that just take you for granted! Switch and have the last laugh :)

Barclaycard with 50% off balances fees - Wow

I just found this website whilst looking online to see if I could better the offer Barclaycard sent me.

I've never really used one of these sites. In fact I've have the same credit card for 13 years now. Unfortunately it seems that loyalty gets you no-where, as does taking the first offer you get.

Instead of the 20 month Barclaycard wasted time writing to me to offer, I now have (or will have in around 7 days) a 22 balance transfer with half price on the transfer fee between cards!

Amazing! I wish I'd done this years along. You see Martin Lewis and others all the time telling you to use these sites, but you never realise what it could actually save you!

Why can't the world be more simple?

Compareandsave

Great little website that should save me about £350!

I was looking for a new credit card and came across compare and save on a search engine.

They had all the credit cards you might want or expect, but in the end I didn't get a card - I ended up using their energy switching tool to stick it to British Gas, which will save me (assuming the numbers all play out as expected) about £350 per year!

Not at all bad for about 10 minutes work (at that rate I could be on £2100 an hour)

Straight forward and clean looking website

It's a pretty clean looking website and it does what it says on the tin!
