My computer had just gone kaput and I needed something new. Within a relatively short period of time they were able to guide me through the process of building a new computer. The result was a kick-ass system which was 30% less than a store bought comparable machine! Thanks Computer Planet!
These guys are amazing, they treated me like every customer should always be treated. They built me a gaming rig that normally costs around 1500, and built it for around 1100 with labor. The entire process was a breeze. I will be coming back to them for all of my computer needs, and would recommend you do the same.
Not only was the website extremely detailed and helpful in itself, when I had questions about computers and which hardware was most recommended, the support group was so helpful. They answered all of my questions and in a way that I could easily understand. None of that technical talk. My computer arrived quickly and was beautiful. It's running great still to this day.
I ordered a custom computer from this website a couple weeks ago, and the experience was just amazing. I would never dream of using another company for my computer needs now. It arrived exactly on time and it was perfectly assembled.
The prices here are very reasonable, and the computers are very good quality. The customer service is amazing. The people working there are extremely polite and helpful. The shipping cost was reasonable and it arrived very quickly. I recommend this company to anyone needing a computer for any reason.
I was so busy experiencing my new PC which I bought from Computer Planet. Now I really felt to say some feedback about them. Their service is too excellent and they delivered on time with all the specified requirements. I was so happy about it.The new PC is powerful and I love the way Computer Planet did its procedures. The ordering process was so friendly and they assured me by sending emails about updated details and regarding the order. The main thing about their service is that the prices were low as compared to other online sites.I got my PC for 400 pounds and when I searched other sites I found that it was almost 1000 pounds or more for a PC with the same configuration. They always keep the customer informed which makes me more satisfied.Till now,my PC is working smoothly without any problems.I was really impressed by your service.Surely I will do everything to get you more orders and I will recommend you to my family and friends. What can I say now?
Thanks a lot Computer Planet. Keep doing like this.
I wanted to buy a performance computer as i do alot of photo editing. My first choice would have been alienware, though after asking about this on a forum i was advised strongly against it, though instead this site was suggested to me. They beat the price on other computers with the same specs, and i swear build the cheapest i7/12gig ram combo in the world.
The computer came well packed and on time. The computer came with all driver up to date(which is a first for me!) and cable managment was brilliant. Which in turn meant that airflow was good.
I also ordered there CPU/GPU overclocking service which i was weary about because of the price, but when i checked the clocks they were outstanding, my phenom 2 was running cool at 4.3Ghz!!
I had my computer custom built with Computer Planet, and I must say the service far exceeded my expectations. Having ordered through similar places in the past, Computer Planet is the best. The customer service was top notch. They understood everything I wanted, built the machine in no time and shipped it to me faster than imagined. I must say, this company goes a long way and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do any service requiring a computer. A+ folks, you will not be let down at all!
I brought a computer for over £1,000 after reading some good reviews, and thought I was onto a safe bet, well, I have never had a experience like it before computer was broken when delivered, they spent 16 weeks to get it repaird, all this time without a computer, once I got it back it still did not work not only that some of the computer parts that I brought with it had been swapped from lower value parts, when i complained about the service.
I was told to read the term and conditions, that I will not get any sort of refund and that i can only send it back to get it repaired again, however this time they will charge me for collection and delivery as it is outside the 30 day period, so i called trading standards, and guess what they have many reports on computer planet for outstanding cases.
They advised me to get it repaired elsewhere as from the look of things if I did send it back to get repaired again, they can drag there hills as long as they want to repair it, and I have no power as they would have my money aswell as the computer, so be warned if you do buy from them buy with a caution that it works first time.

my pc arrived yesterday and after waiting just 6 days I am pleased to leave a good review for computer planet and report that everything is ok. Fully working, well packed and exactly as i ordered. Will use them again.
www.computerplanet.co.uk is the easiest and most affordable way to buy any computer. I was able to customize exactly what I wanted and buy a computer in minutes. The site was exceptionally easy to us and had name-brand merchandise for unbeatable prices. They also delivered the computer straight to my door. No hassle. Lastly, my daughter also bought the computer she wanted using computerplanet.co.uk for her back-to-school shopping. She was happy with her purchase too. Now, you can't beat that!
My buying experience with www.computerplanet.co.uk was the best. I loved their prices and their custom pc's. Their staff was very helpful as well. I would definately recommend buying from them before looking anywhere else. Thanks, computer planet!!
Third time using them. A very professional job everytime, all work done for the price agreed upon and on time completion. I felt that I was dealing with people that understood what I was seeking in a PC.
Bottom line, they are VERY good at what they do. It just does not get any better than this… If you're looking for the best custom built PC's and demand the highest standards of design... then ComputerPlanet is your choice! Definitely check out their site and contact them!
I ordered a cheap £300 system for the kids to use and ordered it on a Monday. I got an email saying production had started on Tuesday and Tuesday night I got an email saying testing had started. Then wednesday evening I got an email saying the order was completed and being shipped out. I took delivery on the Thursday and it came very well packaged in a custom box. I unpacked the PC and checked I got everything I ordered which I did. I got delivery in 4 days and a cheap computer without any problems so I'm more than happy with the service computer planet provided. I'll be using them again when I need to replace my own.
I ordered what was a top of the line PC from this company in July 2008 and paid in full with a credit card. It was for £3,592.86.
The PC was delivered a month later. They did keep me informed about some of the changes that had to be made. The PC was delivered with with the two GTX280s in a seperate box. There was no warning that I would have to put them in and there was no note about having to use the SLI bridge. While inserting the cards was not a problem for me there was some wiring that I dislodged while trying to ge tthe cards in. The support people were very helpful and identified where the wire should go.
In September 2008 I received a letter from a bank for overdue payment on the PC - the full price. I had to contact the bank and show them that I had already paid for the PC. It appears as this is a common problem with this company.
Anyway, as I was working away from home I didn't get to use the PC very often. However, I found that it was unstable when playing some computer games. It took a while to investigate but it was identified that the PC was overheating. I was using some software called Prime95 in order to stress test the PC - it would run for under 5 minutes before locking up solid.
Further investigation into the BIOS revealed that all the voltages were set up incorrectly. Basically, the PC had been supplied in an overclocked state - something which the company denied offering. I had some email conversations with the staff and changed some BIOS settings, however, the PC was still unstable and it locked up in under 10 minutes using the Prime95 software.
I had to send the PC back to Computer Planet which was not cheap - it cost over £100 to do so. Over a month later the PC was returned to me with some components changed. However, the PC was still unstable. The software that was used by Computer Planet to test the machine hardly stressed it at all (3d mark, pc mark vantage, passmark burni). I expressed my dissapointment with the lack of proper testing. They suggested the difference was the temperature of the room that I was using! It was 21 degrees celcius in the room so it was hardly a heatwave.
In the end Computer PLanet wanted me to send the machine back to them. I stated that I had already paid once for the PC to go back to them and I expected them to pay for it to be returned. I never heard back from them.
I had no faith that if the PC had gone back that it would have been fixed. The only thing that would have happened was that I would have less money in the bank.
The PC was eventually scrapped. Which is what I think should happen to this company.
The support staff were helpful at all times. It's just the rest of the company that appears to stink.
While the order was orignally from July 2008 the problems with the PC continued. A RMA (119061) was raised on the 15th April 2009 and I only managed ot send the PC back on the 17th August (working away from home).
The PC was returned 'fixed' on the 29th September after some components had been changed. However, the PC would lock up even when just in Windows let alone runnig anything else.
I went through a process (driected by Steve from Computer Planet) of removing SIMMs (memory sticks), graphic cards and the sound blaster X-Fi but still had no luck with the system.
This process continued until the 21st October 2009. Steve then suggested that the PC be sent back to them. I pointed out that I had already paid for the PC to be sent back once. The last email I got from Coimputer Planet was from Steve at 18:12 where it was stated that Steve would have to check with a manager and get back to me.
I never heard anything back at all - I did get an email several months afterwards to see what I thoguht of the company.
So, while the order was placed in July 2008 the saga with the machine continued until October 2009.
All I get now are lies about how they offered to pick up the PC from me - this never happened.
I really wished that I had just burnt my money - that would have given me less grief than dealing with this company.

I ordered my PC using computer planets design your own route. I picked all the components I wanted and then rang them to check everything was right that I picked. I spoke to a sales rep who talked through each item and had a good understanding of what I wanted the PC for so I felt confident the spec would be perfect. I placed the order and got delivery within the 9 day time frame. PC was very well packed. The PC it's self was packed in foam moldings, then inside the original case box which was lined with rolled up paper, this was then packed into a brown computer planet box which was again wrapped in packing paper with fragile tape all over. UPS delivery arrived when they said it would.
I unpacked the PC, powered up and everything is as I ordered. I cant fault them.
Never ever use this excuse for a company, they are dire. I bought a PC from them and it does not work, it crashes every time.
They also know all the underhanded tricks, they said all the e-mails I sent them were blank.
I sent a message via their website and it was not answered, they just returned my message.
They stopped anyone phoning them, because, as they said, for "technical reasons"
All rubbish of course, the people that ordered a PC during the christmas holidays (as I did) had just received them, and there is no doubt in my mind the phones were turned off due to all the complaints pouring in!
I have now sent a registered letter to their P.O. box address, and if they do not sort this out very quickly, I will take the matter further.
My advice is, do not use them, there are many complaints on the net about them, although some say that there computer was ok, I rather think this was more by luck than judgement.
