We arrived at our destination. Aside from that, this airline caused us great frustration at every turn: (1) my wife and I were given incorrect directions and made to wait in unnecessary lines at our transfer; (2) they split up our seats so that we could not sit together; (3) they lost our luggage; (4) they mis-filed our missing luggage report; and (5) provided absurdly poor customer service whenever we tried to get help - all they did was to tell us to complain on their website.
Air travel is a complicated service and I expect that things will go wrong sometimes. The most important thing for me is how an airline deals with a problem when it arises. I have flown dozens of airlines all around the world, and I can honestly say that Condor has been the worst by far.
Airlines are too big for any one customer to have leverage over, but we can, collectively, vote with our money. I implore any would-be customer to reconsider their plans with Condor. I would not recommend flying with them even if the flight was free. It just isn't worth it because you'll be left to fend for yourself if anything goes wrong.

Wir flogen mit Condor nach Kuba und jeglicher Service war nicht im teuren Flugpreis inbegriffen. So kostet ein vegetarisches Menü, obwohl der Vegetarier ebenfalls den vollen Flugpreis bezahlt hat, 15 Euro pro Strecke! Beim Frühstück lagen Wurst und Käse in derselben Schale, so dass auch dieses für Vegetarier nicht eßbar war. Alkoholische Getränke sind ebenfalls kostenpflichtig. Sogar der Online-Checkin kostet Geld, obwohl man dadurch den Mitarbeitern von Condor Arbeit erspart. Kopfhörer kosten Geld. Kein Entertainment-Programm an jedem Platz, sondern nur alle paar Reihen ein Bildschirm auf dem Filme gezeigt werden. Letztes Jahr flogen wir mit einer französchen Gesellschaft nach Kuba und da waren alle hier bemängelten Punkte im Flugpreis inbegriffen. Einziger Pluspunkt war die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter.
We booked oneway ticket from paris to puerto rico 2 months ago with one hour stop in Frankfurt .
We got to Frankfurt today on Time at 8:20am we got off the plain it was around 8:30ish then had to walk through
many gates withing same terminal we finally got to the right gate it was around 9am
In order to Check you in passports and estas visa are requested witch we had but for some reason my friend couldnt get his through the Time start runing out it was around 9:15am due to delay we been asked why didn t we come earlier something Like 2 hours before We explained we coudn coz we come from connecting flight operated by condor.com their answer was you should expect this and come earlier, i was furious to hear it i couldn t believe it either (no jk)
flight boarding has closed at 9:20 we wandered in that airport for next 6 hours asking for anothor departure or refound we got nothing they just let us down
In anyway this was our fault we might have solved it if we had more Time but this option hasn t been giving i m stock in Frankfurt for 3 more days with hotels expenses before i can take off

On January 14th I purchased a one way ticket from London to Havana for the 18th of January. That same day my credit card was charged $632. I purchased the ticket via www.condor.com
The flight was a Lufthansa service to Frankfurt and then a Condor flight from Frankfurt to Havana.
I received an email with the title "Condor confirmation 4568533" and the following text: "Dear customer, Thank you for your booking with Condor Individuell. This mail includes your booking confirmation in PDF format." The email contained the mentioned PDF file.
When I arrived to Heathrow Airport on the 18th at 04:30 AM (with a Taxi from central London as they are no trains or Tube so early, the cost of the Taxi alone was 50 Pounds), I was told by the Lufthansa checkin personnel that I DO NOT HAVE A TICKET for the flight to Frankfurt. They then helped me to call the airline and after about 30 minutes of waiting on the line and trying different wrong numbers that they publish online and in other places, we could speak with a Condor representative.
He confirmed that my ticket was canceled and he could not help me get into the flight to Frankfurt. He did not give any reason why my ticket was canceled and why I was NOT notified about it.
As I had to reach Havana I had to purchase another ticket vie Madrid, sold by BA and operated by Iberia, for more than 700 Pounds which is more than twice the price that I thought I'd pay as the Condor ticket was just $632.
What you can understand from this story is the following - this company CANNOT be trusted. You may purchase a ticket online on their website, your credit card be charged, you will receive an email confirming the purchase yes STILL you will not be allowed to board the flight. This company should be avoided at all cost! You've been warned!
I was in Punta Cana, dom reb, Caribbean with Condor from Frankfurt.
The service on the flight was excellent. Stewardesses were as international as anywhere. All the other areas: Anybody can buy a trip in web. After the last click your only point of contact are two channels which do not meet. You can call, but service is in German. They send you e-mails which cannot be answered directly. It says in terms and conditions that trips are sold only in German speaking countries in Europe. Thou, our money was good. You need an address in Germany to get tickets posted. They never arrived, so they were finally sent as PDFs - service center had luckily a Russian girl speaking English. Lots of hassle before the trip.
There were lots of people outside of Germany and Austria. Just wonder how they all handled the same problems.
Next time want to have peace of mind already before holiday and pick some other carrier.
