Incompetent staff at Condor, prepair to pay!!!

Well it's a sheep flight air company. Expecting good food, space and service you need to choose another company.
Due to booking they are fast and very nice, BUT don't expect them to give you the right information at their customer service. They have no clue what they are talking about, in general. For ex. I wrote and ask about extra lugguage and got three different answers on weight and cost by mail. Then I called instead and got two more and reasurance that this was the right information. checking over 5 times with condor about my extra lugguage, I At the check in counter got the message that all the information reg the luggage was wrong and ended up paying more for my lugguage than the actual ticket. So, don't expect to get the correct rules, prices or information. They have absolutley no idea what the rules are on their own flights.
To get the money back I made a complain to their customer service department because they gave me the wrong info. That was 17 weeks ago and still not a decent respond. Only, the respond of the proces takes 8, no 10, wait no 12, eh 14 weeks and we can not speed up the process please be patience letters. So pathetic!
So, traveling with Condor can meen that your ticket will end up costing the double.

The actual flight was like any other budget flights except the staff was rude, not service minded, food pore and they got angry at me because THEY mixed up my food. That was an interesting one.

If you have a conection flight to Condor be aware that they weight your carry on lugguage at the desk one more time. If you are not fast enough they will yell at you and simply take you to the side and with bad maners tell you have to work quicker. Because these days any electronic devices are not included in your carry on weight and you can take them out. The scale is the same as you use in your bathroom at home and not always correct. So be prepared to pay extra for weight on your carry on that you don't actually have. Or be asked to throw some things out.

Well I think that's about it! Please have a nice flight with Condor and their staff and remeber don't expect anything but extra fees, rude staff and poor service!!!

WARNUNG VOR CONDOR FLUGGESELLSCHAFT !!!!!!!!!!!!

Condor verweigert die Zahlung der fälligen gesetzlich geregelten Entschädigung bei Flugverspätung.

Unser Flug am 10.09.13 zwischen Antalya - Hannover mit der Flugnummer M DE 2073 20:30 - 23:15 hatte sich um mehr als 3 Stunden verspätet. Mit einem Baby haben wir dadurch am Flughafen eine ganz schreckliche Zeit erlebt. Die fällige Entschädigung in Höhe von insgesamt 1200 Euro für drei Personen hatte ich mit einem Schreiben gebeten, auf unser Girokonto zu überweisen.

Das Theater ging dann los. Ich wartete ca. 8 Wochen, es passierte einfach nichts. Dann setzte ich mich mit Condor telefonisch in Verbindung. Condor meinte, dass sie mir ein Antwortschreiben geschickt hätten. Ich hatte aber kein Schreiben bekommen. Nach Adressenabgleich und telefonischen Bitten, gab Condor mit der vergehenden Zeit an, dieses Schreiben dreimal per Post verschickt zu haben. Trotz mehrmaliger Zusagen habe ich von Condor kein Schreiben auf meine Forderung erhalten.

NACH 16 WOCHEN habe ich Condor noch einmal angerufen und gebeten, das Schreiben an mich per Fax zuzuschicken. Sie sagten erneut zu, dass das Schreiben in 15 Minuten gefaxt wird. Nach 2 Stunden rief ich sie erneut an, da meinten sie diesmal, dass das Faxgerät defekt sei. Anschließend haben sie mir zugesagt, dass sie das Schreiben per Email senden werden. Meine Frage, wann sie das tun werden, ließen sie unbeantwortet. Sie meinten, dass ich mir Zeit lassen soll.

SEIT 16 WOCHEN haben sie es geschafft, mit Lügen und Ausreden auf eine ganz abscheuliche Art und Weise die Zeit zu vertreiben.

Jetzt schalte ich einen Anwalt ein und werde selbstverständlich die fällige gesetzlich geregelte Entschädigung mit allen angefallenen Verzugszinsen und Anwalts-, Prozess- und Gerichtskosten einklagen.

Weiterhin werde ich diesen Fall in die Presse bringen.

SO UNEHRLICH UND RESPEKTLOS GEHT MAN MIT KUNDEN NICHT UM!

Det værste jeg har prøvet

Hvis jeg kunne give 0 stjerner havde jeg gjort det.
Jeg og en veninde rejste med dem fra Frankfurt til Cancun. Flyet var 10 timer forsinket, det er der jo ikke rigtigt noget at gøre ved - men deres kundeservice i denne forbindelse er forfærdelig!!!
Jeg har skrevet og ringet til dem siden d 6.11.13, det er nu d. 12.02.14. Jeg har ikke fået svar på nogle af mine mail og pr. telefon får jeg bare oplyst at der er 8-10 uger svartid. Dette er så også gået for længst. Jeg tvivler efterhånden på om jeg får mine penge retur.

Avoid at all costs

We arrived at our destination. Aside from that, this airline caused us great frustration at every turn: (1) my wife and I were given incorrect directions and made to wait in unnecessary lines at our transfer; (2) they split up our seats so that we could not sit together; (3) they lost our luggage; (4) they mis-filed our missing luggage report; and (5) provided absurdly poor customer service whenever we tried to get help - all they did was to tell us to complain on their website.

Air travel is a complicated service and I expect that things will go wrong sometimes. The most important thing for me is how an airline deals with a problem when it arises. I have flown dozens of airlines all around the world, and I can honestly say that Condor has been the worst by far.

Airlines are too big for any one customer to have leverage over, but we can, collectively, vote with our money. I implore any would-be customer to reconsider their plans with Condor. I would not recommend flying with them even if the flight was free. It just isn't worth it because you'll be left to fend for yourself if anything goes wrong.

Service zu teuer - Billigairlines waren wohl Vorbild

Die Billig-Airlines waren wohl Vorbild bei der Preisgestaltung.
Wir flogen mit Condor nach Kuba und jeglicher Service war nicht im teuren Flugpreis inbegriffen. So kostet ein vegetarisches Menü, obwohl der Vegetarier ebenfalls den vollen Flugpreis bezahlt hat, 15 Euro pro Strecke! Beim Frühstück lagen Wurst und Käse in derselben Schale, so dass auch dieses für Vegetarier nicht eßbar war. Alkoholische Getränke sind ebenfalls kostenpflichtig. Sogar der Online-Checkin kostet Geld, obwohl man dadurch den Mitarbeitern von Condor Arbeit erspart. Kopfhörer kosten Geld. Kein Entertainment-Programm an jedem Platz, sondern nur alle paar Reihen ein Bildschirm auf dem Filme gezeigt werden. Letztes Jahr flogen wir mit einer französchen Gesellschaft nach Kuba und da waren alle hier bemängelten Punkte im Flugpreis inbegriffen. Einziger Pluspunkt war die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter.

Condor is unprofessional

We booked oneway ticket from paris to puerto rico 2 months ago with one hour stop in Frankfurt .
We got to Frankfurt today on Time at 8:20am we got off the plain it was around 8:30ish then had to walk through
many gates withing same terminal we finally got to the right gate it was around 9am
In order to Check you in passports and estas visa are requested witch we had but for some reason my friend couldnt get his through the Time start runing out it was around 9:15am due to delay we been asked why didn t we come earlier something Like 2 hours before We explained we coudn coz we come from connecting flight operated by condor.com their answer was you should expect this and come earlier, i was furious to hear it i couldn t believe it either (no jk)
flight boarding has closed at 9:20 we wandered in that airport for next 6 hours asking for anothor departure or refound we got nothing they just let us down
In anyway this was our fault we might have solved it if we had more Time but this option hasn t been giving i m stock in Frankfurt for 3 more days with hotels expenses before i can take off

SCAM AIRLINE - CHARGED MY CARD, NO TICKET AT AIRPORT !

On January 14th I purchased a one way ticket from London to Havana for the 18th of January. That same day my credit card was charged $632. I purchased the ticket via www.condor.com

The flight was a Lufthansa service to Frankfurt and then a Condor flight from Frankfurt to Havana.

I received an email with the title "Condor confirmation 4568533" and the following text: "Dear customer, Thank you for your booking with Condor Individuell. This mail includes your booking confirmation in PDF format." The email contained the mentioned PDF file.

When I arrived to Heathrow Airport on the 18th at 04:30 AM (with a Taxi from central London as they are no trains or Tube so early, the cost of the Taxi alone was 50 Pounds), I was told by the Lufthansa checkin personnel that I DO NOT HAVE A TICKET for the flight to Frankfurt. They then helped me to call the airline and after about 30 minutes of waiting on the line and trying different wrong numbers that they publish online and in other places, we could speak with a Condor representative.

He confirmed that my ticket was canceled and he could not help me get into the flight to Frankfurt. He did not give any reason why my ticket was canceled and why I was NOT notified about it.

As I had to reach Havana I had to purchase another ticket vie Madrid, sold by BA and operated by Iberia, for more than 700 Pounds which is more than twice the price that I thought I'd pay as the Condor ticket was just $632.

What you can understand from this story is the following - this company CANNOT be trusted. You may purchase a ticket online on their website, your credit card be charged, you will receive an email confirming the purchase yes STILL you will not be allowed to board the flight. This company should be avoided at all cost! You've been warned!

Gute Fluggesellschaft

Condor steht im Vergleich zu den anderen deutschen Carriern nichts nach. Ist qualitativ ok. Preis/Leistung auch OK.

Angenehmer Flug

Bin im Jänner mit der Condor von München nach Hurghada geflogen.Kann nur positives über den Flug berichten. Der Service,war einwandfrei... Aus meiner Sichtweise kann ich sie sicher weiter empfehlen.

Service is not "understandable"

I was in Punta Cana, dom reb, Caribbean with Condor from Frankfurt.
The service on the flight was excellent. Stewardesses were as international as anywhere. All the other areas: Anybody can buy a trip in web. After the last click your only point of contact are two channels which do not meet. You can call, but service is in German. They send you e-mails which cannot be answered directly. It says in terms and conditions that trips are sold only in German speaking countries in Europe. Thou, our money was good. You need an address in Germany to get tickets posted. They never arrived, so they were finally sent as PDFs - service center had luckily a Russian girl speaking English. Lots of hassle before the trip.
There were lots of people outside of Germany and Austria. Just wonder how they all handled the same problems.
Next time want to have peace of mind already before holiday and pick some other carrier.
