I placed my order on 23rd Feb. Website says orders are dispatched in 3-5 days. On 28th Feb, I emailed, they hadn't dispatched my order, I asked for a refund. They said on 3rd March they would initiate a refund, which would take 2-3 working days. I got an email today (11th March) saying the refund will be issued tomorrow. Going to contact my credit card company because I have no product and they still have my money. AVOID
I ordered some contact lenses from them almost two weeks ago. The payment was obviously taken instantly, but I am still waiting to receive them. After several emails chasing my order, they inform me that the item is out of stock and they don't know when I'll receive them. I've asked for a refund but haven't heard back. I'm not hopeful. This company is a COMPLETE CON -- AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
This company has a good range of lenses. I use them as they have the ones I like which I can no longer get from my optician. They could be more forthcoming over the telephone. The lenses take longer to arrive in the post than they say for no apparent reason that they can give when you ring up.
Love the reminders and refill corner, I think the only thing I did notice was from the point of order and payment there is nothing in the way of tracking the dispatch and shipment, this type feature gives a customer the confidence that the shipment is on its way and not lost, you do feel out on a limb when waiting for your order to arrive through the post, can inevitably lead to an unecessary contact (pardon the pun) through phone or e-mail, Tony.
Found this company on the web as we all tend to do and was drawn to their much lower prices for contact lenses. Placed an order on the 6th Feb 2014 for them with the promise that lenses would be sent within 2-3 days which meant that my existing supply of lenses would cover me until around the 12th so a buffer there just in case. After a few days had passed and no sign of the lenses I tried to contact Customer Services. Impossible and had to give up trying due to a dead arm with holding the phone to my ear. Left emails as concerned none received advising me of dispatch date etc only for them to go unanswered as well. Finally got through to someone today the 17th of Feb who endeavoured to fob me off with the excuse that Johnson and Johnson were having trouble supplying, then quickly changed it to Ciba Vision when he realised my order was for one of their products. Assured me that they would "let me know" when they were being dispatched and the phone call was ended. Only when I see these reviews and note the glaring similarities with other buyers I ring back but this time to "sales" and not "customer services" only to hear the same Daniel Obrien speaking to me. I have stated that unless my money is back in my account by end of play on Friday the 21st February then all means open to me will be used to A: GET MY MONEY BACK and B: SHUT THEM DOWN. So to anyone else reading this with a view to purchasing from them I say read the reviews first before you do. Also note that BETTEREYESITE.COM ONESTOPLENSES.COM LENSPLANET.COM PROFESSIONALGLASSES.COM SPECSPEOPLE.COM and BRANDEDSHADES.COM are all operating from the same address and all have shocking reviews.
The lenses did not arrive within the specified delivery period, and thereafter the responses were standard fobbing off...promises that delivery would be made etc. Payment was taken immediately, of course, and was not refunded until weeks later after more than one complaint to the credit card company.
I have dealt with Contactforlenses for pretty much all of my contact lens buying lifetime (nearly 6 years) and have never had any issue with them whatsoever. On top of the excellent price breaks and very responsive custmore service I have no qualms about recommending them to anyone.
WARNING - DO NOT USE CONTACT FOR LENSES. Ordered lenses on 4th Jan, paid in full, and credit card charged at time of order. Still no lenses arrived by 14th Jan, so tried to contact by phone (both options) and no answer after 15 mins. Sent email and repeated next day. No answer to emails. Eventually got through on phone 15th Jan, but they couldn't even establish if lenses had been dispatched yet, so cancelled order. If I hadn't contacted them, who knows when I would have received either lenses or any contact from them. Read the other reviews, they do not hold stock, their communications are non existent, and they couldn't care a hoot. Went back to Feel Good contact lenses, who are great. They answer phone, are helpful and courteous, can tell you straight up that lens are actually available in their stock, and offer next day delivery. I have ordered with them before, and even their free standard delivery was very quickly dispatched.
I ordered my contact lenses at the start of December expecting them to arrive before Christmas and had NOTHING. On the 18th December I emailed them to cancel the order. Despite being told "The refund has been made to your card account on 31st December 2013 and the pay offshore transaction id is xxxxxx. You can expect to see it on your next statement. Apologies for the inconvenience caused." I still haven't received any refund and I'm still waiting for the company to respond.
This company is Awful! I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. I ordered my contact lenses on 9th December expecting them to arrive before Christmas and had NOTHING, no email confirmation, nothing. so on the 20th December I phoned to say that they hadn't arrived and they said they'd be posted on the Monday, after new year still nothing had arrived. Phoned them again, posted in a few days, so now im annoyed and wanted a refund, that'll happen in a few days! And still no email confirming this!
Annoyed isn't an understatement as i'm desperate for these lenses.

I agree with the previous reviewers. This is a hidebound operation that doesn't give a monkeys. The reason is that this company is actually Professional Fulfillment Services; a company that just distributes other peoples products and holds no stock. If you have to return anything you'll have to pay postage both ways in advance before they will action your replacement order. The "don't give a monkeys" does have one advantage however in that they will supply anything you ask for without checking you should have it!
they take AGES to deliver, don't mention anything about supposed delays on their website, despite claiming that it is there in the terms and conditions (though the customer service person on the phone couldn't even find this information on the website)
inflexible service, which has no interest in actually servicing the customer's needs. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!
Wish I had read all these before I ordered - worst company I have every dealt with - lie about delivery times, they don't respond to e-mails or answer the phone - won't give a refund and won't send out the lenses either. Not worth it for saving a little bit of money! Have started a claim through my bank to get the money back and have reported them to watch dog. Just save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere!
Ist half of order arrived within 7 days ish - got email to say on its way and 2nd half would follow on (no date given when). 2nd half of order was delayed but did arrive about 2-3 weeks later. Suspect this was due to Trueye lenses being on back-order and hard to get in a hurry from manufacturer (no websites were advertising this problem). Not perfect communication re delays but for the price and a bit of diligence on my side re likely cause of delay all was well in the end. Wouldn't use these guy necessarily for a rush order but they are cheap and you cant always have everything! Overall no problem, was a bit worried due to mixed reviews!
