Consistently the best rates on the market! I have ordered by phone, email, had it delivered, turned up in person and always got the same great service. Fast and cheap cash!
I cannot believe I ever used a bank, I shudder at the memory of post office rates and commision. If you want foreign currency with no complications, commissions or forms, get here now. Your holiday does not have to start with queues and a fleecing!
Rather reluctant initially to step outside my normal practice for buying currency but the rate offered was very attractive compared with High Street banks etc. I did have cause to email requesting confirmation on expected date of delivery but only because my order coincided with a bank holiday weekend. A prompt, clear and concise response was received. I will continue to use Covent Garden FX for future currency purchases. A thoroughly professional service.
I did a web comparison for best exchange rate for £'s to Euros and this came out at Covent Garden FX. As a first time customer and having changed address but not telephone numbers on my Internet banking things were a bit complex but Covent Garden FX guided me on the telephone and between us we were able to comply with all T & C's and money laundering safeguards etc. My Euros arrived at my specified time and I will certainly use and recommend them in future. A few days before our holiday, we registered for your service alas that was as good as it got... never received our initial registration email after several attempts at trying, checking spam filter etc. we never received any confirmation back, so never got to use your service.
Ended up going back to the tried and trusted method, not sure I'll bother trying you again
This is the second time I've used Covent Garden FX and I have never been disappointed, the rate was the best so far, the transaction was done in an efficient and effective way and when I picked up my currency, the service just got better in other words absolutely excellent!!!!. I will most definitely be using the company again.
We placed our order on Sunday and they obviously have to clear the bank on Monday and as promised our Euros arrived before 1pm on Tuesday,
If you order before 2pm on the Monday you would still get your money the next day,

Ordered money on the Tuesday and asked for it to be delivered on the Friday so that someone would be in the house. Paid by bank transfer and with two hours go the conformation they had received the money. The currency was sent out on the day I specified with no problems. All in all it was a brilliant service, hassle free.

I use Covent garden FX for the majority of my US transfers. They charge much less than my Bank and therefore I get better value for money. Their rates are amongst the highest on the Internet. The service is fast, efficient and accurate and I have never had any issues. The site is easy to use, pay them via Internet Banking, immediate emails to say where my order is up to. Just an excellent service.

I found this company to be extremely helpful with a personalised service which is extremley rare these days. They emailed to advise I had just missed the deadline for next day delivery and then replied further on my instruction to continue with the transaction. They also offered the best rate with no delivery charge over a reasonable amount

I would definitely recommend this service and would have no reservations in using it again. It had the best rates of exchange but I wasn't sure about using it. However read the reviews and decided to go ahead. Money arrived the next day. I could not fault it.
I ordered my currency $CA before I was due to take lunch at work, I recieved the email even put on the notes of my order the time I would picking up.
I walked 20 minuets to arrive and be told they didn`t have any $CA even tho I had ordered them...
I was pretty annoyed and I think the lady on the desk knew and so offered for the money to be delievered to my place of work as I work in the w1 area, overall I would use again but would probably make sure to get the money delivered in the first place.
Wonderful. Best rate for USD I've found online and with the option to pay in cash I didn't have to worry about making a bank transfer to a company that to me was not yet known. Ordering the money on their site was easy and the exchange at the office was swift. Would very much recommend.

I found Covent Garden FX through MoneySupermarket and after shopping around a bit online, i found that they had the best rates. I put an order in online (to take advantage of better exchange rate) and collected the next day. A bit difficult to find but i called and they directed me. Very helpful and friendly service. Will 100% use them again.
This is the first time using this company, I found it very easy to order and pay for the currency I required. The service was very good as when they phoned up with a query they treated me as a person, not a number which I thought was excellent. First time I have used this- I have since recommended to my friends. The person on the telephone was very reassuring when I rang to verify it was all legitimate (due diligence only). The delivery was prompt and very cautious not to hand over the money to anyone but me- despite reassurance from my team it as fine which I respect. I would use again.
I have used CGFX several times and usually have a first rate experience, ordering online and collecting. The last two times the email confirmation has not arrived so I have had to email and phone to chase. I ordered Polish Zloty and when I emailed Sam, I was told the money would not arrive until later than I had requested. However the rearranged time was fine and the pick up was very easy. Sort out your email problems, CGFX, and next time it will be 5 stars again.
What a great company, money delivered when said. I did have a problem with Royal Mail delivering it to a neighbour and not notifying me, when I rang covent garden after Royal Mail said I needed to go through them, they did everything possible to help, even though they were just about to close. Best rates I could find on all online comparison sites, will certainly use again!
I bought euro online. I am very happy with the service - the exact money arrived, on time (even before). The email service is very clear and prompt. The only minus - i asked for the money to be delivered on Monday, but it arrived on Saturday and I wasn't there, so had to rearrange delivery. Plus, I could not transfer the money due to problems at my bank before the deadline mentioned in the email and could only do it next day, but they kept the rate is offered originally, which was slightly better than next day. I will use them again. I checked many exchange rates online and in stores and they are simply the best.
I ordered Ukrainian money, was told to collect at 4pm but the man at the desk, I think the owner Paul, was on the phone for ever before he rudely told me that he'd tried to phone three times and e-mailed me to save my coming in! (an hour's journey to collect - they do not "post" Ukrainian currency. (Home later, no messages on my answer-phone, no mail evidence - he'd lied to me. Also claimed they were very busy because the exchange rate had gone up."
Next morning, spoke to Sam, very polite and apologetic but yet another excuse - "enough Ukrainian hadnt been released by Bank of England" (only £400 worth!)
Yet another phone-call later, heard the best advice of all from a woman, "You should apply to M&S or the Post-Office for this and save yourself unnecessary bother!"
What a strange attitude to business!!! Never again...
Using this service for the first time, I was a little hesitant, even anxious. However, any misgivings I might have had were completely unfounded. What a brilliant way to get foreign currency. I shall certainly use this service again.

I was served by the owner Paul. The total was £902 something and he told me not to worry about the £2 after i had handed over what i thought was £900 and he had counted it. I offered to pay the extra by card but his machine wasnt working so i gratefully accepted.
He gave me a receipt, well, an order receipt.... he never mentioned on their how much I gave and how much I received. Both of these said zero. Which i didnt notice until later.
When i got home I realised i gave £950 not £900 as i forgot to take the extra £50 out from the morning. i admit i made an error by forgetting to take money out but I was annoyed that someone who counts money miss counted £50 through a bundle of £10 and £20 notes! I emailed [Name] (a family member who deals with complaints - unprofessionally i must add!) Stating the situation, I attached the reciept and said that thier till will either be up or someones pocket is.
[Name] replied extremely defensively and She told me to stick to the facts not judgement! She also said the the tills would be hard to pin ooint these issues as they often have discrepncues of up to £100!! Wow, really? Surely you guys can count? A business that deals with money should be able to count and their tills be to the penny at the end of each day? I was offered the money back if i came back to collect it. At no point was there an apology or an 'understand how you must feel but I can assure you that bla bla'
I went to the shop today and spoke to [Name]. I introduced myslef as the person who was short changed. He gave me the money and told me that there was no need to be rude (as in the email - i dont think i was rude, i just questioned where the money was!) I apologised and said im sorry for suggesting that it was stolen but it raised eyebrows.... and before i coukd finish, which inwas saying calmly and politely, he said theres no need to be rude, i asked to let me explain and all he kept saying, atleast 6 or 7 times repeatedly there was no need for me to be rude! He was referring to the email and he was clearly p'd off. (Truth hurts maybe?!) I couldnt get a word out, and my last line to him was rude? I havent had 1 apology for the mistake and i walked away.
I cannot understand how a business that counts money, can miss count tens and twenties to be £50 different and that their tills have discrepencies!
No customer care what so ever. Thanks for giving back what was mine, hence the 1 out of 5 rather than 0 out of 5.
My advice to anyone who goes to change their money there is this:
Take a calculator, check the exhange rate and conversion yourself and count you money before you leave. They offer good exchangerates but they make uo the difference in their "till discrepencies"
Give up the day job [Name], your either a theif or cant count! ;)
