I bought a £900 lens from crazy cameras in March 2011- on the 1st April an American bloke called me to say that due to bad weather my shipment would be 4-6 weeks late- he apologised and laughed- which I though was a bit strange. I then recived calls after calls from the bank saying have I tried to purchase a computer in Los Angeles etc- I had to change my account-6 months later and after 30 emails which had no been replied to I contacted the bank about this fraudulent transaction- the bank said it was too late to investigate and I wouldn't get my money back- so they took me for nearly £1000 and I didn't get the lens or my money back- thanks Crazy Cameras hope your children are proud of you!!Nothing more than low life thieves!
Relating to an order back in 2010, excuse after excuse for weeks, delivery never came. Requested refund three times, refund never came!
Shortly after this, had a call from my bank about fraudulent transactions being made using my credit card details... My order with crazycameras was the only time I used that card in a long time, so It was most likely related to these fraudsters and thieves! Disgusting!

I ordered 2 Ipod touch from craszycameras.co.uk as the price seemed so competitive. I got the call same day confirming my credit card details and was charged GBP402 same day. However the Ipod touch did not arrive after a week. I decide to cancel following their website's instruciton. It stated that cancellation can be made in 'your account'. However there was never such portal for the facility. I emailed them a few times to canx and asked them to credit my mone back. I was told that the order was in 'shipping queque' and cannot be cancelled. I kept writing to them that I want to cancel and get my money back. They kept telling me to wait for 'several business day for the goods to arrive'. After a month, the goods have never arrived and the money was not refunded. I contacted my credit card company refusing to pay for the goods which I have never received. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM OR YOU WILL REGRET FOREVER!
The only way to put a stop to all this is to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission in the USA against crazycameras, who operate from the USA, the owner of this site is JAIVIN KARNANI, he deserves to be put in JAIL.

Ordered the UK version of a Panasonic Lumix camera which was advertised on their website which leads you to believe they are a UK company - which they are not. American version turned up eventually. Refused point bank to refund or exchange.

Scary stuff, be warned!!!!! On closer inspection CrazyCameras.co.uk is a small operation that does not live up to its brand, you do get responses from support but unclear about the actual response. AVOID AT ALL COST. I will be returning my order if it ever arrives, making a claim on my credit card and report it to consumerdirect.gov.uk as a total scam. Not sure if it is legal to start with, a .co.uk is actually coming from the USA? Read the 'about us' page to explain what goods are like.
They take your money and do not deliver! They never answer the phone its 'Im sorry all are operators are busy', they never call you back when you leave a message. My order has been going on for a month now. Absoulte joke cheap is not always best. They just take your money. My credit card is now investigating this and getting my money back for me.

After a six week wait we cancelled our order with CrazyCamera's, we have now received an email saying that they could not fulfill our order and that we would NOT be getting our money back.
They suggested we get contact our bank to try and obtain the money from them. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE... Be warned

Understand that they ship from USA. They use DHL and let you know when the goods have gone. They then give you a DHL shipping number. DHL sends you an e-mail with consignment details so you can track its progress.
I got exactly the camera I ordered within 3 weeks.
i ordered a dsi as a present on the 16th february they said 5 to 7 working days they took my money straight away,but here we are on the 10th March 2010 and guess what no dsi,no tracking number,i have emailed this company asking what is happening,can i have a refund but to no avail,i have tried calling them i have tried to use their online chat service but not available seems to be there answer,im bored with waiting, bored with asking,they have emailed me saying they are waiting for the distribution centre to get back to them but this is just disgusting diabolical customer service,im not sure they are even uk based the reviews i have read are terrible just wish i had read up on them before i put in my details,i have been ripped off no denying it,i have been onto my bank now and reported this as a fraud and am awaiting there correspondence now,at least so i can try get my money back.will let you know what happens from here.this is extremely frustrating and stress i could so do without !!
Its been a week since i placed an order and while I received a order confirmation email I have heard nothing since. Why I didn't research on the company is my biggest regret!!
Do not go near this company. If only I'd checked first. My bad. They offer good prices, because they can when they are ripping most people off.
I suspect they have no intention of shipping in most cases, but know that a credit card company will not process a refund for 30 days.

Purchased the "Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 12.1MP Digital Camera with Lumix G Vario 14-45 mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH Mega OIS Lens (Blue) £409 after £30 Cashback!" and when I applied for the cashback from the manufacturer of the product, it was rejected because it was not a UK model. The product must have been shipped from the U.S. which may explain it arriving 2 weeks late. Why did (and it still does) the dealer place the promotion on their product page when it clearly voids the Terms & Condition for the cashback promotion? Even the manufacturer advised me to contact Trading Standards as the dealer was committing a criminal offence. Has been 3 angry emails sent, 1 reply and several months later with no results - avoid like the plague.
BE VERY CAREFULL.
If you visit this site you will find very interesting prices, but the reason for these good prices is very simple. They charge your card and then they start to loose your time. First they will wait until your patience is finish. You will try to contact them with their ever "WE ARE ONLINE" Call us. You will never find, at any time day or night (I´ve call them every 1/2hour for 24hours, and guess what. NO RESPONSE. So you will send them a polite email. Maybe if you are lucky you will recieve an automatic response in 48-72h, asking you they need "some data" they have to talk to you in person, so they ask you at what time they can call you.
You will tell them your phone, and the hours they can reach you, but again, they will never call you back.
By now, you will star to get suspicious, because by now you have been charge on your credit card about 7-10days ago and you still don´t know why your order is on hold!!
I waited for another week, trying to reach them by phone, email, and the "ALWAYS ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE" that always takes you to a "Sorry, at this moment all our operators are busy, please leave a message". I decided to cancel the order, and the day after a recieved an email anknowloging your cancelation, and saying that the credit card refund will take about 5 to 7 days. (It is really curious, they charge you inmidiattly, and the "refund" you in 7 days :( Anyway, I waited another 12 days, and guess what; Your credit card refund has not been processs, why? I dont know. At this moment your fears come true, and what you didn´t expect to happen to you, become a real thing, YOU HAVE BEEN FOOLED BY A BUNCH OF THIEVES. It might sound strong, but is the only way to discribe to people that keep your money for no reason, don´t answer any email or message, and apparently they dont have any intention to do it.
EDIT: 2010April, My credit card has been used to buy 400€ of differents companies. I have reported to the credit card company, but it is really INTERESTING the same happens to STEVEN BURKE, I didn´t thought about Crazy cameras until I read his review...(

I have ordered a camera from CrazyCameras in January and have as yet not received it, despite my account being debited immediiately. They are answering my emails, but are stalling continually. They are also based in the USA and not the UK. I have gooogled the site now and there are countless complaints of customers not having received their goods. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE
This company takes your order and your money but it seems cannot deliver the paid for goods. They cannot tell you where your order is, are never available when trying to contact them via their online chat service. They do not answer emails and will not allow you to cancel an order even though the goods have not been despatched. They are also using a .co.uk domain name that confuses users into thinking that they are a UK company.
Hey, I ordered an iPod 32 GB and my experiences are very bad. They billed my credit card the day I make the order and then nothing happens. Over 10 days I wrote one eMail after the other but only thing they tell me is that they have to make a phonecall to verify some details. They got 4 phonenumbers but never a call reached me. Only thing I can see on the website ist "In process". After 10 days I cancelled the order - and surprise! - the order was in shipment and the funds were verified ? Now I'm waiting if they refund my credit card. I do a lot of shopping via the WWW but in more than 10 years never made such a bad expirience.
My husband ordered a canon lense at the start of December 09 with lense status being in stock. The money was taken right away. 2 weeks later still we did not hear anything from them. no update. We tried to phone the company, went straight to voicemail but could not leave voicemail because the voicemail was full! we tried to email but got response very general blaming their computer system. We tried to cancel so we could get the lense from some where else but they refused to cancel by email. they said we had to cancel on internet which there was not any where to do that.
At the end we contacted our credit card company to take legal action and tried to get the money back. During the process, on Christmas day with no present!, we had been advised that the lense had just been despatched to my husband work address which was shut during Christmas time.
I finally got my lense a week after the new year! very very disappointed with the service. extremely slow in response (take a week to reply email)

Last Sunday I spent an hour looking up the cheapest price for an iPod touch with two other friends (they wanted one too.) And I saw that Crazycameras had the cheapest price online. So I was promised around 3 -5 days which did seem a bit much for them supposedly being just around the corner. It's nearly been a work and I haven't even been told where it is. By the way i'm from North West England, turns out they're American.
Crazy Cameras Is a shambles They will take your money but you are unlikely to see your camera. Certainly not within a month. I ordered on January 2nd. On January 22nd after many false dawns they informed me "that they could not guarantee delivery date" I cancelled and now wait and see if refunded

Although they have a .co.uk website, this is in fact a company based in Portland, America. They have sent me a Region 1 (ie American) version of the PSP, and now say they will not refund it since it is not actually faulty! Nowhere on the product description was it stated that the product was not UK Region 2. The only way for me to return the product is to pay a £70 shipping charge!!! I am so angry it's not true, that companies can be allowed to get away with this. And to top it off my daughter now has a birthday present that is no damn good to her!

I placed an order for IPod docking station which was supposedly in stock then received email saying order cancelled - who by? Them! Didn't stop them charging me for it though. I've received refund for item but not for postage - good little earner for them! Not responding to emails and answerphone when I telephone.
Nothing been wrong with the company. The only trouble is with DHL they working with. So I had the same problem with delaying delivery and what I done is just check the status of delivery, Your E-mail and phone DHL to organize re-delivery or collection. Company never seem to be able to answer telephone calls.Never reply to emails.Did send Dsi ,which i bought for,unfortunately sent me an american console,which caused problems setting it up,and charger is american,two pins,and is damaged,they gave me a second hand adapter which to is old ,dirty and damaged,loose pin!!!

i must admit that I was a bit dubious after I'd bought from this company and then read reviews, but to my delight they sent my order, granted it took slightly longer than expected but no more than orders I've placed recently with local companies. The order was despatched and i was able to follow it's progress throughout the way. Absolutely delighted with the product, my kid has the 'coolest DSi in the street!!' which is'nt out in the UK until April. I'd use them again!!
Don't go anywhere near these guys. My order has been in shipping status since 1st December for a total goods value in excess of £600 pounds, so you can imagine I am not well pleased. Interestingly I received a call on my home line about 2 weeks ago from CrazyCameras asking me to verfiy my credit card number and the goods. They read out the correct details without me prompting them and was told the goods were being despatched. Didn't twig at the time, but the guy had a US accent, so I guess it ties in with some of the other comments about company location. I've tried to phone but no success, did receive an email yesterday from them saying how sorry they were for the delay and goods will be with me 5-7 workig days - yeah pull the other one! As I paid on credit card, I contacted my credit card company yesterday, and the transaction has appeared against my card. The card company have initiated a merchant dispute process, and have ring fenced the order value on my card, which means I will not pay interest on the order value whilst the dispute is in process. Not sure whether I will get my money back, but hopefully I will. Passing advice is, if you have paid on credt card and are having trouble, contact the card provider now.
I did use this company for Canon EOS 24-70mm f/2.8L USM, SpeedLite 580EX II, Canon Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E3, Hoya 77mm DMC PRO1 Digital Circular Polarizer Glass Filter, Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce for the Canon 580 EX Flash, Tamrac 5534, Blazing Fast International AA/AAA Battery Charger +4 Bateries. For example lens cost in UK cca 1100 pounds and CrazyCameras selling it by 899 pounds. I did order a goods at 30Oct and today a did receive parcel with lens, Tamrac, Off camera shoe for flash and Polarizer Filter. Everything was well and original packed. Rest of money they did refund on my account. Problem with this company is with comunication because I did urgent two times my goods and first time I have no answer and second time they said 5-7 days and after that was nothing happend again. But now, after 1 month and 11 days is everything OK. Last thing is this, I spoke today with guy from DHL and he told me that same problem have lot of customers of CrazyCameras but finaly they are satisfied.

I ordered an ipod touch 32GB nearly 3 weeks ago. Despite the website claiming they were in stock, I found out that they were awaiting delivery, and I received a parcel over 2 weeks late - from the USA. I could just about have accepted that, but the parcel contained an ipod classic. I have emailed and telephoned crazycameras but nobody has replied to any of my messages. These people are fraudsters - DO NOT BUY FROM CRAZYCAMERAS.
I have a funny feeling that crazycameras.co.uk and bitesizedeals.co.uk are the same outfit. Very similar websites. Look at the reviews for bitesizedeals.co.uk and they are very similar too. There are currently 313 bad ones of those.
I ordered Pocket Wizard transmitter and receiver along with a flash and stand. I was in a rush so happy when my order arrived quickly.
Unfortunately only half the order arrived so I was left with a flash and transmitter but no receiver or stand. It was only then, after calling them numerous times I was told that the receiver was out of stock.
As they are a US system and incompatible with EU systems, I was unable to buy a matching receiver, so now I have a useless transmitter that they refuse to return. Actually, they keep promising to send me a return label, but then just don't. Been waiting for over a month now with no resolution.
They have provided goods that are not fit for purpose but are doing nothing to resolve the situation. Also, as others have found, I usually have to spend 2-3 hours calling through to get hold of anyone. Often it takes days of trying to get through.
Please do not use this company.I ordered a camera and it was marked as in stock on website and that del would be in 3-5 days.....1 week later I sent email to customer service using online chat, recvd email back to say their was a problem with their ''distribution centre'' and order was delayed.....one week later, guess what, still no camera....I again used their online customer service helpline and guess what, whas told their was a problem with their 'sistribution centre''.... company are based in Portland oregan, I dont beleive they actually hold any stock ...I cancelled my order, and the only good point about the whole thing ws that I recvd my refund in 5 days! be warned!!!!
