Equifax is Superior

Long story short.. they had my wrong details my credit file jumped from 500 and something up to almost 900 only because I chased them up by phone and they had to manually amend my details.
Furthermore, I agree that their support team is laughable. Do you guys ever respond to emails? I've sent 3 and not one single response.
They have put my Electoral post code incorrectly, it looks intentional as I have my polling card and even sent them a photo of it with the correct post code. The issue is, it is flagging as red as if I'm not on there and I have told them in 3 phonecalls, and 3 emails that they have it wrong on THEIR systems.
I have just cancelled my membership, and I feel unsafe as if they will take money even though I cancelled it. This paranoia is justified since they are operating as unprofessional cowboys.
I tried Equifax before, and their support team in Manilla is far better. At least they serve you properly! And I did not even pay them, I'm going to now though that's for sure.
These lot took so long to authenticate my account (they only accept proof of ID by MAIL, while Equifax take scans via email), that they charged me for the month before I could even log in to check my credit! Wow!
Do yourself a favour, go to Equifax. Simple. The old prestige of Experian is DEAD.

Here is my email problem ticket ID (the first one).. in case you guys show remorse: EMR9104602X

Laughable call centre staff

Just rang up to cancel my subscription, went through the questions most would ask why you are leaving etc. Gave my details around 4 times because the person on the phone was so hard to understand, and then when I passed security got asked the next set of questions.

I was trying to be sold a package for £9.99 to be alerted for all sorts of things, I said no thanks and then was held for longer again going through a big script trying to sell me another package for £1.99 a month for identity theft. I also said no thanks at that and then he decides to question me and said literally, well how would you know then when someone applies for credit using your details? So I just replied and said sorry but that isn't my concern at the moment nor should it be yours.

Finally got it cancelled, but prepare for a mountain of questions when trying to cancel.

Creditexpert and their chums at Experian - big big NO!!

Do not become involved with this outfit - they are refusing to accept written instructions to cancel my so-called subscription with them.

They will not provide me with the 'Terms and Conditions' that I'm supposed to have approved.

They claim that I can only cancel my 'subscription' by telephoning them and will not advise what legislation they are depending upon to insist that I contact them on their 0800 tel. no.

They do not understand normal business protocol.

Their website is designed to trick you into signing up with some sort of wholly unnecessary subscription

Creditexpert by Experian

Within 3 days of contacting this company and providing card details nearly £1400 of fraudulent transactions were made against my account. All my other transactions up to 3 months previously have required BarclaySecure verification. I would advise you to be extremely wary.
