got for £15 cheaper than any where else on the net including postage ordered on Friday and delivered Monday. I am extremely happy with the A+ service and perfect timing of delivery as stated between 3:50 pm and 4:50 pm so i didnt have to wait in all day . The product is excellent and i will be using Crescent Electronics in future thank you again for your excellent customer service
By far the best price on the laptop I was looking for. Most remarkable was the email telling us to within 1 hour when the item would be delivered. I was a little concerned as I have not used Crescent before and their website did not display properly on either of my computers. (Win 7, Internet explorer latest edition.)
Goods were despatched faster than I expected, and arrived in perfect working order. The only hiccup was CityLink who were experiencing seasonal backlog problems and failed to deliver for two days running. Still, it's that time of year and nothing the supplier could do (other than use a different courier, I suppose).
Ordered a Christmas present over the weekend and it arrived on Monday, earlier than their advised estimate which was great, especially considering the time of year. My goods were as described and in perfect condition. I would recommend this company based on my experience.
I recently purchased a Billion wireles router. It was advertised as perfect working order, but box damaged.
I ordered it and when it arrived the router and cables were in a right state, stank off fag smoke and covered in pet hairs.
Still I thought, give it a go. Spent ages routing cables and trying to set it up only to find that it didnt work.
Sent it back got a refund. But still £10 out of pocket for the cost to send it back.
Disgraceful company, that I will never deal with again. Suggest you dont either.
Excellent price and quick turnaround of my order (ordered Friday, received on Monday). I was concerned having not used the company before that their website didn't give me any info regarding my order but a call to their customer services followed quickly by an update email got me the information I needed. Lose 1 star as website not working.
I ordered a louvered panel for our store room which arrived well within the specified delivery time and the packing was in good condition. I received a confirmation email about my ordered which stated all the important information i needed. Everything went as well as could be expected.Excellent service, no problems at all.
Awful supplier ordered laptop motherboard that they listed as having 15 in stock for next day delivery.
Received email advising that it was not in stock but being shipped from a 3rd party in Europe and would take 2-3 days delivery.
Immediately requested they cancel the order and refund my money. Which they refused to do so. Dishonestly claiming it wasn't possible (checked with their alleged shipper it is possible to cancel in transit).
Promised delivery by yesterday still hasn't arrived they are still claiming they can't cancel the order and issue a refund, (again their alleged courier says otherwise).
As I write this I have no laptop motherboard and don't have my money back.
Could customers with a similar experience please contact me and I will include details of their complaints along with mine to crescent electronics local trade and standards office.
I ordered a keyboard, which arrived defective.
They have a very prominent firstname.lastname@example.org email address on their site, which I emailed to ask about a replacement, but nobody has returned my email after 11 days.

I am forced to initiate a payment dispute with Paypal.
The reason why people find this company useful is when they try to sort out the lowest price this company usually pops up.
However, they are cheap for a reason. They don't have their logistic supply chains, thus they don't get a hold of the goods they sell. All they do is they phone a real supplier company and let them ship the goods. As you would imagine, buying process could become more complicated with extra parties involved. If crescentelectronic can’t acquire your order they will just send you a preformatted email telling you they don’t have that in stock leaving you wondering what about those stock numbers? Don't you never ever trust their stock numbers, they are all wrong and they want it that way so that you can prepay confidently. Surely they know orders will most likely get delayed and they even have preformatted emails to explain that. If you are not a few quids short, DO NOT buy from this company, especially you are buying for a production environment. They can get you fired.
Their RMA process is problematic as well. I bought 6 WD RE4 1TB enterprise class hard disks for a RAID6 array built. With a very rare luck, 3 of them are dead on arrival. The RMA went on well until the replacement disks arrived a few weeks later.
First of all, the disks are not sent by Crescent Electronic and are sent by another company-the actual supplier of the disks.
Second of all, the supplier company sent some overall 80 pounds cheaper Caviar WD blue 1TB consumer class disks for replacements (we will call this company the 2nd company for short).
Correct me if I am wrong, People generally would expect to get a BMW 3 series back if they send in a BMW 3 series for replacements, wouldn't they? Well, I got lucky and I got a Vauxhall Astra back!
I phoned the 2nd company trying to tell them how ridicilous is that and a young girl in her 20s picked up the phone telling me “those enterprise disks are out of stock so they decided to send me these”. From the fair natural way she talks about it I decided not to argue with the people with the wrong logic to start with. It is not my responsibility to stop them from destroying themselves. I contacted the Crescent Electronic again to get things sorted. With countless emails, waiting and worrying for a month and a half I finally got my refund.
This is really a classic scenario when things go wrong, you would be left in this time and money wasting triangle relationship Crescent Electronic has very successfully implied.
I felt that with this sort of experience a 3 star would be an overstatement, 1 star would be proper. However, with the fact that I got the refund I will give them 1 extra star, no more.

Best price found. Delivered next day ;two seperate City Link vans from seperate depots arrived together and both rang front door without finding office round side.Re-delivered next day no problem . Chose Crescent because working in Crowborough therefore if any probs could not hide as faceless internet company and nice to give business to independant rather than enormous nationals who think 21 days to fix power pack (after needlessly changing screen) is acceptable customer service.
I ordered a cooling pad for my laptop (5-7 days delivery).
Since they had a problem with their ordering system, I could not see what the status of the order was. The customer support assured the order would be processed.
After 5 days the order was cancelled due to "out of stock" and I got a refund.
Few days later I order again, as they had more than 360 items of it on stock. This resulted in another cancelled order, but this time I did not even get notice of the cancellation. Despite having 260 items on stock my order was cancelled. The order was even deleted from my account, such that I could only see the order status from a link I had stored.
At least the refunds were handled promptly.
I contacted customer support, but did not get an answer why the order was cancelled.
Customer support is reacting slowly. If you want to save yourself some time and nerves order somewhere else.
Ordered a graphics card, 100+ in stock, 5-7 days delivery.... 10 days pass, then was issued a refund with a email saying out of stock, sorry. what a micky mouse company this is, my customer wont be happy and neither am i, very angry. avoid.
After tralling the internet for hours to find the item I actually wanted I came across crescent Electronics. I had seen them in the past come up as the cheapest so I decided to order from them.
After you place an order you get an automated email confirming what you ordered and how much you paid. At checkout stage I also get an indication of when the item would arrive so I could arrange to be at home or have someone to be their.
I received a dispatched email the night before the item was due to arrive confirming it had been shipped. Then on the morning I received my tracking number with the courier in an automated looking email Very slick
The item arrived noon the same day in what can only be described as the best packaging in the world. The item fitted snuggly within the box with plenty of protective packaging.
As the item suggests 5 star all the way couldn't have been informed any better or better service.

The free delivery took longer than stated, and ordering on a Saturday meant it did not get processed until Tuesday (I was informed) - it was not a bank holiday so why not Monday? Despite this it was still a day later than specified and despite reassurances to the contrary from the (polite and courteous) customer support, I received no further communication to let me know it had been dispatched, and therefore did not know when (or if) it would turn up. I wasn't too pleased being on hold for 5mins before getting through on the phone line.
I know I'm being picky here, but I guess I'm used to the excellent service Amazon provide, and despite saving a few £ on the Amazon price I was unnerved by the lack in service as this was the first time I'd dealt with this unknown company. It was close to two weeks from the order date when I finally received the item, although it was packaged well.
In summary, if price is your key factor then they are competitive, but personally I'd rather pay slightly more and get a better service. They're not a bad company, I just think they need to improve in order to win that all important repeat business.

I have ordered am item worth over £100 and it said it will be delivered the next day. Well this was not the case it took about two weeks to get delivered.
I would say that the company is great apart from long delivery time. THey had the item in stock when ordered so it couldn't be that they were dependent on delivery to them and then would send it off to me but I have contacted them and not in 24 hours as they say they will reply but after about 48 hours I had e-mail from them saying that the product has been dispatched today (it might have been just after my email)...
My order had to be delivered during the terrible snow conditions when it was chaos on the roads and deliveries were delayed. Despite this, it was delivered in good time and the support and co-ordination from Emily at Customer Service was excellent.
I was told that my order would arrive after Christmas, which i had already assumed it would as i placed it on Wed. 22nd Dec. but i was absolutely chuffed to bits to find out that it was delivered the very next day, the P&P was free aswell which sweetened the already amazing deals that Crescent did me. Katerina Avery was a pleasure to speak to & i will definitely be shopping there again. 1st class service, helpful beyond words & ultra reliable & speedy delivery! What more can i say!!
My order was confirmed and the funds debited from my card for goods that were listed as in stock.
The next day I received an email to say that the order was being cancelled as the goods were out of stock. They were still displaying the item as in stock on their website but at a higher price.
They claim to have issued a refund, but my card company have no record of the refund.
Customer service emails have been sent from an invalid email address resulting in replies bouncing.
Telephone number constantly engaged.
I will be referring this company to trading standards and urge you to avoid them at all costs.
