absolutely brilliant

Order from these guys without really knowing what I was looking for, opened a chat box from the site and was surprised to find a human on the other end who could advise what I needed and links on the site to purchase. Placed my order at 23.00 and it arrived next day without paying for next day delivery. Next day thought I would chance my arm and once again asked a question, answer was immediate as was delivery next day again. Recommended my company look into using these guys brilliant service and turnaround time.

Excellent value, provided alongside excellent customer service.

Ordered 4 batteries for company UPS's.

Price was excellent, ensure when sourcing replacement batteries that you factor postage into the bottom line.

Website was easy to use and stock reporting was accurate.

There was a slight delay in getting one of the packages out which I enquired about. Got straight through on the telephone very quickly to a nice UK based chap who responded postively and immediately - my query was followed through up to the point of delivery.

Thats the real test of a quality company - how well it responds to exceptions.

Won't be looking anywhere else for my batteries in the future.

The battery in my APC UPS finally needed replacing after about 7 years. Critical Power Supplies made it easy to get hold of a new one. Not a replica, but an authentic one from APC, complete with detailed installation instructions and information on recycling the old one. A professional service.

I needed a UPS for some sensitive computer equipment in my place of business and google came up with Critical Power Supplies. I placed the order online and it was delivered the following day. Thats hard to beat when you want a solution ASAP.

Eaton pdu purchased online / arrived next day :-)

I spoke to Cliff recently and purchased an Eaton basic PDU, dispatched at 5pm and arrived at 8am next day

Nice product / great service / one helpful Cliff who delivers = priceless

Unbeatable Eaton 9140 UPS Pricing and Service!!

These guys are unbelievable, not only they provide me with assistance at 8pm last Wednesday evening with help on choosing a UPS after our previous solution "died", but they also provided the UPS and positioned it in the rack for us as well. The SNMP card configuration was simple and they stayed on site showing me how to use the UPS and software.

I will certainly be using them again and recommend anyone to call them. Never lose your passion no matter how big you get.

A fantastic customer experience – unparalleled!

I ordered a replacement UPS battery online and due to an internal processing error coupled with a shortage of the specific battery pack needed, I was sent a new up to date UPS as a sign of good customer relations. I didn't ask for this level of service, it was just given.

When I need a battery for my new UPS, or need to suggest a supplier for any IT power related needs I shall point people to the website.

When it matters - TERRIBLE!

For a company that takes orders, payments and supplies goods let's be honest, it isn't rocket science and they should be able to do this right every time - afterall that's their business and 99% of successful online retailers manage this. So, what matters is when it's not as simple as take from a shelf and post, right?! Or as in some cases (as this company appeared to for me in the first instance), just feed the order to the REAL distributor who sends the goods, even easier?!

So, firstly it arrived LATE, then it was the wrong item and damaged. I sent a support ticket - no response, followed up with a phone call, promised a callback, didn't happen. Guess what, chased again over the phone, was promised next day delivery, no response and no goods - waste of a day. Next, after chasing again, promised an update as to the delay, didn't happen. Finally, an alternate (that they actually stocked themselves) was sent out nearly 2 weeks after order.

6 weeks later I have still not had a refund of the difference in price between what I ordered and now have (50% of original order!). Oh, yes, and they did finally contact me to arrange to pick up the damaged/incorrect unit but then when I responded (suggesting a date as they requested and asking for confirmation of the refund amount), I got.... silence!

My opinion if it wasn't clear, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE - there are plenty of far better competitors....

CPS were the best price for ORIGINAL battery. Battery was received well packed and in 2 days (Their promised delivery was 3-4 days).

"Next day delivery arrived 3 days late!"

We paid £15 postage for a guaranteed next day delivery on an order placed on a Sunday evening so it should have arrived by midday Tuesday. By Wednesday we called them and were told it had got "stuck in their system". I asked for a refund of the £15 and was offered a reduction to the normal £8 (2-3 day rate). The item was needed urgently and eventually arrived on the Friday. We feel the company should have offered free postage as a result of their error so they only get 2 stars from us!

Great service. I can recommend them.

I'm a small online business - 1.6 FTE - and needed some advice to make sure our PCs didn't fall over on us. Cliff had several online and telephone conversations with me and did some extra research to make sure I was getting what was needed. The kit turned up fine and I installed it without too much hassle (nothing Cliff could do about that side of things).

Excellent service, quick delivery.

Was a little wary of Purchasing a EA300 UPS as I'm normally used to the APC family of UPS but thanks to the detailed info on critical power supplies I decided to go for it. The unit arrived very quickly and to my surprise came with several leads, usb cable and software which works great.
The EA300 powers a Dell T110 II power edge server with just 7% load. Excellent value for money.
Without critical power supplies I would probably have gone for a Smart APC unit at twice the cost.

Fast service at a good price

I have been using Critical Power Supplies for some UPS products for a while and found them to be efficient and good value. I have now started purchasing replacement batteries as well. Initial contact was efficient, prices were good and delivery was next day even though the order was placed late in the day. Well done.

Good products at keen prices, and excellent service

Ordered an uniterruptable power supply (UPS) from here, plus a power out lead.

Price was good, and products arrived quickly.

UPS itself (Riello) excellent, but did not come with mains input lead. Luckily I had a spare so not a big deal. Also invoice which arrived a few days later only had the UPS not the power out lead on it.

Nit picking here, company is recommended and I would certainly buy from them again.

I wish every firm offered such good support

I first approached CPS for advice about a UPS for a new home office set-up in France and received very helpful advice. I placed my order on the basis of the prompt and helpful responses and the excellent VFM. & months later I had an unexpected failure of one of the UPS and I contacted Jason who not only agreed to replace the unit immediately but because I was only in UK for a short period actually delivered the replacement (a much higher spec unit) to me at home the following evening. Beat that for service and support if you can!

Needless to say I will not bother to look elsewhere for any future UPS requirements.
