I would recomend you try CSL before anybody else.
I recommended CSL to my parents as I had no problems when I got my new sofa.
Me and my boyfriend walked around the store without being hassled, which was a lovely experience, as we had been in DFS and been hounded by one of the sales women.
A salesman asked if we needed any help, when we said we were just looking, he said "no problems, I'll be over there if you need me, give me a shout". We walked around and browsed the furniture until we found one we liked, asked the salesman for some figures, which he gave, and then left us alone to have a think. When we had decided on the furniture we wanted, we found the salesman and bought it.
The process was very quick, we were probably in the store about 45 minutes, and baring in mind we went in not long before closing, the staff were very friendly, and didn't try to hurry us.
The sofa was delivered within 2 weeks - if not less than 10 days - and we are very happy.
I would recommend CSL to anyone, as the customer service was great, and the furniture is of a high standard, unlike some of the other stores we had visited
having had several bad experiences in the past when purchasing furniture we were nervous to say the least. However from the moment we stepped into the CSL show room we felt at ease. To start with we were allowed to browse without anyone hassling us, or worse following us around, however when we did need assistance and questions answered we found the staff to be very helpful and informative. after spending a lengthy amount of time chatting to the sales person we decided to go home and think it over, no problem, again no pressure. We returned the following evening to make our purchase and the hire purchase agreement was explained to us in terms even I could understand. I appreciated being able to track my order and it arrived exactly when arranged. The delivery staff were very polite and left no mess behind what so ever. I would not hesitate to recomend CSL to friends and family.
The CSL shop in Hull were very helpful and they assured us pre xmas delivery so we went ahead and ordered 2 leather sofas.
Only one delivery day was available to us before xmas so I had to change plans, delivery slot given as 9.45am to 1.45pmn. It was raining all day on delivery day and at 2pm I rang CSL as no sign of delivery. To be told the 4 hour slot was only a guidline and states on website poss all day !! I was 5th delivery of day therefore was never likely to be before lunch. At 3pm my husband phoned to be told it would be nearer 4pm. at 3.45pm lorry turned up - no apology. They struggled to get sofas out of lorry then preceeded to drop the first one 8 times down the drive blaming the despatch people for not putting on carrier straps and it was ok as the sofas were covered !!!. Same happened with the 2nd sofa, struggled to actually lift them with the young man telling me he didn;t think they could get them in as they struggled to lift. Eventually they got them in but what a nightmare, so i had waited in all day with a 4 year old child waiting for something that came at 4pm !! Yet my friend bought from you and delivery driver gave her 2 hour slot and kept her updated ! so why was I waiting 6 hours for a delivery when quite clearly I could have been called and told it was likely to be after lunch ! I was given the excuse the drivers don't make appts and they never know how long deliveries will take ! fair play but a phone call or text would have changed a very stressful situation !!! then the arms were crushed, and another phone call I had to make and fortunately they arranged someone to come the next day to sort which they did. All in all i wouldn't recommend you due to the extremely bad delivery

really needed a sofa quickly as our old one wouldn't fit our new house, luckily the one we wanted was available with 72 hour delivery. Very informed staff, not too pushy like other stores we went in, delivery was on time. Had sofa 7 months now and its still in excellent condition. The quality was far superior to a similar one in scs which looked very plasticky, ours actually looks like real leather. Would definately recommend csl
internet info didnot linck up with the reallity of the order had to keep phoning dopot for info which was out of touch with website the workmanship of the diliverd item was not up to the standard of diplayed items in the showroom ie not of merchantable quality redering your swap insurance very suspect under trading stanndards law
after almost 7 weeks sitting on my friends garden chairs while waiting for my sofas to arrive I couldnt be happier with them. they are as comfy and look as good as they did online. big thanks to Jim and mark who certainly had a challenge getting the sofas in my house, but who both did a fantastic job. they were so helpful and friendly and made sure everything was in order before they left. the service they gave me was first class. thanks guys!
WE HAVE HAD A CLS LEATHER CORNER UNIT FOR EIGHT YEARS AND HAVE LOVED IT.IT IS STILL AS GOOD AS NEW. SO WHEN WE HAD A NEW CONSERVETRY BUILT ON THE HOUSE WE DECIDED TO USE OUR EXISTING CORNER UNIT IN THERE AND WE HAD NEW LEATHER 3str SOFA AND A SWIVEL ARM CHAIR IN THE SAME MATCHING COLOUR TO FURNISH THE LOUNGE. WE CAN NOW INTERCHANGE THE FUNITURE AS WE WISH . WE FIRST SPOTTED OUR CHOICE ON LINE BUT WENT TO SEE THE ITEMS IN STORE ,THE SERVICE WE GOT WAS EXCELLENT A LITTLE OVER THE TOPON TRYING TO SELL EXTRAS THAT WE DIDN.T ACCTUALY NEED BUT NO PRESSURE THE ITEMS WERE TO TAKE 11wks BUT ACTUALLY CAME IN 7wks, DELIVERED WITHIN A 3hr TIME SLOT AS NOTIFYED, BY 2 EFFICIENT GUYS WHO TOLD US HOW TO CARE FOROUR NEW AND OLD SUITES. I was really impressed by the store in Croydon and the staff were very friendly. The delivery was made within 10days of purchase which is great because no one wants to wait 12 weeks for a sofa to arrive. Really was not happy following my trip to the store that I received a parking fine from parking right outside the store. It was good that the staff were able to rectify this, however, it did mean that I had to make a further journey to the store which had not been through choice.
When the sofa arrived, the delivery drivers were brilliant, really helpful and very positive. The only downside to the purchase is that I do not feel that this sofa will last any length of time and already the leather is showing signs of stress in places. I would not really have expected this so soon. So really good experience, however, I am not sure with regards to the quality of the leather and may think carefully before purchasing again from CSL. Real shame as I think the rest of the service was excellent.
the delivery drivers left a trial of white polystyrene from the lorry to our house with no attempt to clear it. They damaged the interior of the front door but I never knew until they had actually gone. I can understand it is heavy and awkward but to not even let you know what they had actually damaged is not on.
The actual staff were we bought our 3 piece suite were very helpful and the suite was delivered on time
I checked out the sofas on the website and knew exactly what I wanted when I went into the store. Had a quick look round to make sure I hadn't missed anything and found another suite that I also quite liked. Normally in sofa shops the staff pounce on you as soon as you walk in the door but they left us alone until we wanted help and then there were plenty of staff available.
The salesman was really relaxed, no hard sell.... the only quibble I had was when I mentioned I was undecided between two suites and without checking anything he immediately said the cheaper one wouldn't be available for delivery until after Christmas (even though it had a sign on saying it would be). I did feel afterwards that I might have been manipulated towards the more expensive suite so I checked on the website afterwards and found he was right.
I ended up with the sofas I'd chosen in the first place and it's lovely; smart and stylish.
I had a bit of a problem with one of the cushions and a surveyor called out to look at it and again the service was great.
Would definitely buy from CSL again and recommend them to anybody.
Sofa and chairs were available quickly.
Delivery also speedily arranged and it was very helpful to be given a time slot
for the day of delivery.
Bit disappointed that footstool ordered (different brand from sofa and chairs) is taking 12 weeks so have to postpone judgment on this.

Found the reclining couch we liked, in my favourite colour, for a very reasonable (comparitivly) price. Free delivery, no interest on payments, one phonecall and it was ours! Delivery guys were really great, cheerful, quick in and out, very helpful answered all questions. Sofa is mega comfy, and looks great. Would definitly reccomend CSl, and would come back if we ever need more seats!
This has been the worst service I have received for a long time. I was missold insurance and furniture cleaner. Then half the order came in the wrong colour and I still don't know when the rest of it will arrive! I have been promised I would receive a call back 4 times and never had one! The store were appalling and I was messed about due to staff being unable to remember their passwords and failing to call me. Head office pass me round like a ball and no one wants to own the problem. I am disgusted in the service I have received and even asked to return the product as unfit for purpose and have still had no resolution!

Salesman 10/10: Tracking10/10: Delivery 10/10: Sofa Bed not so good. We purchased 3 items. The 2 seater Sofa is good, The footstool is good, The Sofa Bed is not so good.
It is a diffrerent design to the 2 seater Sofa we tried in the shop, which we did not expect. The bed part is good and the advice to purchase the lux. matress was good but the Sofa Bed as a Sofa is not really acceptable. The cushions one sits on are much deeper from front to back and the angle of the back is not the same as the Sofa, as it leans back further making the seating angle for the back and the cushions very uncomfortable. Perhaps you should have had the Sofa bed on show or the salesman should have been better informed to pass this information on to us. It would most certainly have affected our purchasing decisions.
Purchased from the Chester store, the service and sales talk from staff was excellent. No hard sell and we were left to make decisions without pressure. A 12 week wait was estimated and the delivery date was slightly before the 12 weeks was up - However, this is where service failed dramatically. Delivery was set for 24th June between 12-4 (approx). 4.15pm - no sofa, so I called customer service and was advised that my goods were on the van for delivery and that I'd have my furniture by 6pm. Not impressed but after almost 12 weeks of waiting, what was a couple more hours? 6.15pm and STILL no sofa. At this point, customer service then told me that there had been a mix up and that my furniture was not on the van for delivery but in fact in transit from a warehouse in Scotland. I was utterly disgusted at the lack of correct information that I had been given, the innacuracy of detail on my order and a general lack of concern for my situation. I have a back injury and my partner a knee injury, but CSL thought it fine for us to remain without furniture for a further 48 hours. I would never use CSL again as their was a complete lack of regard for the situation I was placed in - no formal apology from the company - this was left to the customer service operator to do and the fault was not hers. Shoddy service, communication and I wouldn't recommend to anyone for the future.
The whole process of purchasing my sofa, from showrooms viewing & specification selection, right through to selecting my delivery date was absolutely flawless. I wouldn't hesitate to return to CSL for my next purchase or to recommend to friends, family & colleagues. well done!
From the moment we walked into the store in Lakeside it was obvious that this was a furniture store with a difference. We leisurely walked around the store sitting on loads of fantastic quality sofa's with out anyone jumping all over us.
After chatting to the salesman we ordered our new corner sofa and arranged a delivery.
The delivery driver and crew were amazingly helpful and showed us how to care for the furniture.
All in all a brilliant experience and one I will be recommending to all my friends.
I would recommend CSL. The salesman was really helpful. I went into the shop looking for something different and came home with exactly that. He explained which cushions were more likely to sag over time and informed me on how to keep my sofa looking new for years. Me and my husband are chuffed to bits!
We looked at a number of sofas in a number of stores, before deciding on our new sofas at CSL. Purchasing was quick and easy. We chose to go with a small deposit, and pay the majority off over the next 4 years. Delivery was quick, and I was kept informed of where the sofa was at each stage.
When purchasing our new sofa we wasn't told that the sofa was micro fibre and had to be dressed every day I have health problems and don't have time or energy to do this if we had been told this we would have chosen some thing else
We were also told we had to purchase a stain removal kit which does not work a waste of £40 in my opinion!
right from the off going into the showroom there was no pressure but everyone very helpful. kept informed by e-mail regarding delivery times and great service from the delivery team. couldn't ask for more!!

Have had sofas for six weeks, they are lovely and we are very pleased with them.
Well it has got here at last, and looks great. Carpet went down yesterday and delivery was bang on time slot so no problems there. the lads even offered to take their shoes off ! They made us inspect it with them and told us how to keep it clean, they were lovely lads, really polite but friendly,(scousers like you). As they say I am made up! Living room looks dead posh.
We visited CSL and were seen really quickly. The salesman was really helpful but not pushy. Explained our options clearly and gave us time to decide.

I went to my local sofa store and was flooded by floor staff. even after telling one to go away and let me decide in my own time , another one who was not in the too far distance came over ......so I walked out .....
I then noticed CSL across the way .so I went in and what a different experience . I was approached after looking lost . I explained what I might be looking for and was led to the area that had a sample to get me started . I was left to my own devices and no staff hovered over me .
only once I walked around did a staff member ask if I required any help . I was then showed another design similar to what I had seen . I left the store to ponder with a sales staff name and number to call .
I felt helped .... that was a Saturday. I RETURNED ON SUNDAY to purchase the sofa I had now choosen . and the staff member that assisted me on Saturday was called to come and see me . and the rest is history
I now have a fab sofa , delivered by ,helpful fantastic delivery staff that made my day ...
I'm not fussy but tired of all the bad customer care that seems to be the norm now days so CSL really impressed me no end ....... This is by a million miles the best shopping experience I've had for a long time and a sofa is not exactly something you buy often .
