Bought fridge / freezer on Wednesday, delivery Thursday. Got home paperwork said Friday. Waited in from 14.45 until 19.15 when they phoned and said van broke down cannot deliver. Customer services then informed me that Saturday was busy, so I can have the next available slot which was Sunday. He confirmed that my fridge was unloaded so they didn't upset Saturday customers. When I suggested contracting the delivery at their charge they refused. So you might be one of the few that are let down. If you are like me, it will be big time. I should feel that I am lucky, they said if there were no slots for a week I would have had to wait. What can I do. Get my delivery charge back and never use Currys EVER again.
